Una passerella dinamica dedicata alle auto che hanno corso le epiche edizioni della Targa Florio. Sarà un salto indietro nel tempo quando alle tribune di Florip-oli tornerà il suono dei grandi motori a riempire la strada che sale fino a Cerda. Molte delle mitiche auto saranno guidate dai leggendari piloti che negli anni pas-sati si sono sfidati alla Targa Florio nella versione velocità. La leggenda ritorna in Sicilia per l’edizione numero 100 del-la corsa ideata da Vincenzo Florio che debuttò il 6 maggio del 1906.I modelli di auto più ammirati e più poten-ti di ogni epoca appartenenti ai marchi più blasonati del mondo, talvolta proget-tate proprio per questa gara unica, tor-nano sulle Madonie a celebrare la prima edizione numero 100 per una compe-tizione automobilisitica.Alfa Romeo, Bugatti, Chevron, Ferrari, Lancia, Maserati, Mercedes, Osella, Porsche, sono i marchi che hanno legato il proprio nome alla versione velocità del-la mitica gara sule Madonie.

A dynamic walkway dedicated to cars that raced in the epic editions of Targa Florio. It will be a step back in time when the sound of great engines will echo again in the Tribunes of Floriopoli to fill the road that climbs up to Cerda. Many of the legendary cars will be driven by famous drivers who - in the past years -competed in the speed race of Targa Florio. The legend returns to Sicily for the race edition number 100 conceived by Vincenzo Florio, which debuted on May 6, 1906.The most admired and most powerful car models of all ages belonging to the more famous brands in the world, designed precisely for this unique race, are back on the Madonie itineraries to celebrate the first edition number 100 for this com-petition.Alfa Romeo, Bugatti, Chevron, Ferrari, Lancia, Maserati, Mercedes, Osella, Porsche, are some of the car brands that have linked their name to the speed race of the legendary Targa Florio along the Madonie Mountains.

Punta di diamante della 100th Targa Florio sarà l’Historic Speed, un evento nell’evento organizzato dall’AC Palermo e dall’Automobile Club d’Italia per rendere unico l’appuntam-ento con la storia.

The Spearhead of the 100th Tar-ga Florio edition is the Historic Speed Race, an event within the event organized by the AC Pal-ermo and the Automobile Club of Italy to realize a unique ap-pointment with history.

Proprio alcuni di quei modelli, torneranno a far rombare i propri motori sulla leg-gendaria strada, un tratto di quell’epico “Circuito delle madonie” di cui si svilup-parono tre versioni: “Grande”, “Medio” e “Piccolo”, ma tutti con il famoso tratto Floriopoli - Cerda sempre presente.Le Tribune di Cerda, in passato ospitaro-no il quartier generale della corsa e furo-no sede dei box. Dinnanzi le Tribune si raduneranno li gloriosi modelli di auto, domenica 8 maggio, saranno le spetta-trici più blasonate per le più moderne versioni impegnate nei due passaggi del Campionato Italiano Rally e nel Campi-onato Italiano Rally Autostoriche, oltre che per le vetture impegnate nella Targa Florio Classic. Poi sarà tutto per loro il tripudio di pubbblico che vivrà un salto oindietro nel tempo su quei 6 Km dove si riproporranno le emozioni dell’epopea della Targa.Tra i nomi Andrea De Adamic, Arturo Merzario, Nino Vaccarella, Helmut Mar-ko, Jean Claude Andruet, Nanni Galli, Carlo Facetti, Sandro Munari, Vic Hel-ford, Toine Hezemans, Jack Icks, Gus Van Lennep e Stirling Moss, sono piloti che hanno corso e vinto la Targa Florio veloc-ità e che hanno subito mostrato grande entusiasmo all’invito a tornare al volante sulle Madonie per una sfilata dinamica sulle vetture con cui hanno scritto la storia dell’automobilismo.

A few of those models, will return to roar their engines on those legendary roads, along a stretch of that epic itinerary named “Circuito delle Madonie” which developed in three versions: “Large”, “Middle” and “Small” one, always including the famous track Floriopoli - Cerda.The Tribunes of Cerda, used to house the head-quarters of the race and were the seat of the boxes. On May 8th 2016, before the Tribunes, the glorious car models will gather, and some of the spectators - in particular the noblewom-en present to the event - will be involved in the latest versions of two tracks of the Italian Rally Championship and of the Italian Historic Car Rally Championship, together with the cars competing in the Targa Florio Classic Race. At the end of it they will have the opportunity to enjoy the the triumph evoked by the blaze of the public that will live a step back in time on those 6 Km where the epic emotions of Targa comes back to present times.Among the participants Andrea De Adamic, Arturo Merzario, Nino Vaccarella, Helmut Marko, Jean Claude Andruet, Nanni Galli, Carlo Facetti, Sandro Munari, Vic Helford, Toine Hezemans, Jack Icks, Gus Van Lennep and Stirling Moss, drivers who have raced and won the Targa Florio speed race and who have shown great enthusiasm to get back at the wheel along the Madonie itinerary for a dynamic fashion show on the cars with which They have written the history of the motor rac-ing.
