PORTO DI VENEZIA • PORT OF VENICE

Il Porto di Venezia, posto all’incrocio dei principali corridoi di trasporto europei.

Esso opera su una superficie di oltre 260.000 mq. Al trasporto passeggeri sono dedicati 8 terminal, costituiti da stazioni moderne e confortevoli. Il porto accoglie ogni anno circa 2.300.000 passeggeri.

The Port of Venice is situated at the crossroads of the main European transport corridors. It operates on a surface area of over 260,000 square metres.

Eight terminals are dedicated to passenger transport, consisting of modern and comfortable stations. The port handles about 2,300,000 passengers every year.

Il porto di Capodistria in Slovenia è un importante centro per lo smistamento e l'immagazzinamento di merci tra l’Europa centrale ed orientale e i Paesi del Mediterraneo da un lato e l’Estremo Oriente dall’altro (attraverso il Canale di Suez).

Dal 2005, è attivo un terminal crociere che riceve circa 108.000 passeggeri all’anno.

The port of Koper in Slovenia is an important center for the movement and storage of goods between Central and Eastern Europe with the Mediterranean countries and the Far East (through the Strait of Suez).

Since 2005, there is active an cruise terminal which receives about 108,000 passengers annually.

Rovigno, o come viene comunemente chiamata "la perla dell'Adriatico", è una città pittoresca sulla costa occidentale della penisola istriana, nell'Alto Adriatico.

Il Porto di Rovigno è una delle mete preferite dei diportisti. La sua bellezza affascina sia i velisti, sia gli ospiti delle navi passeggeri.

Rovinj or, as it is commonly known, "the pearl of the Adriatic", is a pretty town on the west coast of the Istrian peninsula, in the North Adriatic.

The Port of Rovinj is one of the favourite destinations of pleasure boaters. Its beauty fascinates both yachtsmen and the guests of passenger ships.

PORTO DI FIUME • PORT OF RIJEKA

Il Porto di Fiume è il cuore del Corridoio paneuropeo “Rijeka-Zagabria-Budapest” ed è ben collegato all’Europa centrale attraverso strade e ferrovie.

Il porto è anche importante sul piano economico in quanto da qui passa un oleodotto che collega le raffinerie in Croazia, Ungheria, Austria, Bosnia-Erzegovina, Serbia, Repubblica Ceca e Slovacchia.

The Port of Rijeka is the core of the Pan-European Corridor „Rijeka-Zagreb-Budapest“. It is well connected by road and rail with Central Europe.

The port has an economic importance since the pipeline system is linking the refineries in Croatia, Hungary, Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Czech Republic and Slovakia.

Il porto di Rab garantisce l'accesso ad una delle isole più soleggiate e piacevoli dell'Adriatico.

Dal 2000, la Country Port Authority di Rab gestisce questo porto assieme a quello di Mišnjak e ad altri 5 porti locali croati, lavorando per il loro sviluppo.

The Port of Rab guarantees access to one of the sunniest, most pleasant islands of the Adriatic.

Since 2000, the Country Port Authority of Rab has managed this port together with that of Mišnjak and five more Croatian ports, working towards their development.

In termini di traffico, Zara rappresenta il cuore della regione che collega il Nord e il Sud della Croazia mediante una moderna rete di superstrade.

A metà strada tra Venezia e Dubrovnik, Zara è sempre stata un importante porto di transito e, con il suo traffico annuale odierno di 2,4 milioni di passeggeri e 350.000 veicoli, si piazza tra i porti più trafficati del Mediterraneo.

In terms of traffic, Zadar is the centre of the region that connects the north and the south of Croatia by the modern highway network.

Located halfway between Venice and Dubrovnik, Zadar has always been an important transit port and with today's annual traffic of 2.4 million passengers and 350.000 vehicles it is placed among the busiest ports in the Mediterranean.

PORTO DI SEBENICO • PORT OF ŠIBENIK

Sebenico è uno dei porti della costa adriatica croata maggiormente protetto. Si trova nell’estuario del fiume Krka che, con i suoi 75 km di lunghezza e 360 m di cascate totali, crea una riserva naturale unica.

Il porto è naturalmente protetto dall’influenza del vento e delle onde. È collegato all’entroterra attraverso strade e ferrovie.

Šibenik is one of the best protected ports in Croatian Adriatic. It is situated in an inundated estuary of the Krka River, which with its 75km long flow and 360m of total fall, creates a unique natural reserve.

The port is naturally protected from the influence of wind and waves. It is connected to the hinterland by road and railway.

Il Porto di Spalato, situato nell’area mediterranea in una posizione strategica dal punto di vista geografico, è uno dei centri più importanti per il traffico marittimo sia locale che internazionale.

È collegato all’entroterra mediante superstrada e ferrovia; ciò rende il porto un’intersezione tra diversi importanti corridoi che collegano l’intera area del Mediterraneo. Con un traffico annuale di 3,5 milioni di passeggeri e 650.000 veicoli, è il terzo porto più grande del Mediterraneo.

The Port of Split is situated at an exceptionally favourable geographic position on the Mediterranean and it is one of the most important centres of local and international maritime traffic.

It is connected to the hinterland by highway and railway which makes this port an intersection of several important transport corridors which link the entire Mediterranean. With annual traffic of 3.5. million passengers and 650.000 vehicles, it is the third largest port in the Mediterranean.

Può accogliere fino a tre grandi navi da crociera per viaggi andata/ritorno e traghetti passeggeri su tratte regolari tra tutti i principali porti della Croazia e quelli italiani di Ancona, Bari e Pescara.

Dubrovnik is a prestigious Mediterranean destination for cruise ships in transit.

The port consists of Berth Grad and Port of Gruž and it receives up to three mega cruisers from round trips as well as passenger ferries on regular routes between all Croatian major ports and Italian ports of Ancona, Bari and Pescara.

Il Porto di Bar è una holding in cui lo Stato è il maggior azionista con una partecipazione al capitale sociale del 54%. Il Porto può ricevere 5 milioni di tonnellate di diverse tipologie di merci all’anno.

La posizione geografica di Bar, le sue capacità di business e l’organizzazione del personale a disposizione del Porto, garantiscono l’instaurarsi di relazioni commerciali con i clienti che operano in questa regione o che semplicemente entrano in quest’area di mercato.

Port of Bar is holding company, in which the State is main holder with participation 54% in corporate capital. The capacity of the Port is 5 million tones, of different types of cargoes, per year.

Geographic position of Bar as well its business capacities and personnel structure which Port has at its disposal, guarantee doing business with the clients operating in this region or just entering this market area.

Il porto di Durazzo è uno dei porti adriatici più antichi d'Europa ed il più grande in Albania. Composto da 4 terminal, accoglie navi da carico di tipo e dimensioni diverse.

La sua posizione strategica gli garantisce un ruolo cruciale nella comunicazione tra Oriente e Occidente sia per il traffico merci che passeggeri. Nei Balcani è un nodo importante .

The Port of Durrës is one Europe’s oldest Adriatic ports and the biggest in Albania. It has four terminals and handles freight ships of different types and sizes.

Its strategic position guarantees it a crucial role in communication between East and West for both freight and passengers traffic. It is an important node in the Balkans.

Il porto di Corfù, nella Grecia nord-occidentale, è la principale via d’accesso da e verso l’isola per passeggeri e merci. Negli ultimi tre anni ha accolto una media di 1,3 milioni di passeggeri, 536.000 veicoli e 485 navi da crociera (640.000 passeggeri).

La crescita del porto è legata al turismo marittimo, alle crociere e alla navigazione da diporto ed è ben collegato ai porti di Grecia, Italia e Albania.

The port of Corfu, in the Greece north-west, is the main access route, to/from the island, for passengers and cargo. In the last three years has welcomed an average of 1.3 million passengers, 536.000 vehicles and 485 cruise ships (640,000 passengers).

The port development is related to the maritime tourism, cruise and yaghting: it is well connected with the Greeks, Italians and Albanians ports.

PORTO DI IGOUMENITSA • PORT OF IGOUMENITSA

Il porto di Igoumenitsa, nella Grecia nord-occidentale, è oggi il secondo porto più grande del Paese: la sua posizione, le strutture moderne e il collegamento con l’autostrada greca lo rendono la principale via d’accesso da e verso l’Europa sud-orientale.

Ben collegato al resto della Grecia, è destinato a diventare, entro il 2013, un importante porto di crociera.

The port of Igoumenitsa, in the north-western Greece, is currently the second largest port in Greece: with its location, the modern facilities and connection to the motorway Greek, it is a major gate from/to South East Europe.

Well connected to the rest of Greece, is destined to become, by 2013, an important cruise port.
