GENERAL DESCRIPTION

ANTENNA MOUNTS in hot-dip galvanized steel are designed

for different types of antenna and are compatible with the

most commonly used support infrastructures (poles, towers,

roof-top structures).

Components range from simple, fixed supports to mounts

with high precision mechanisms, for fast and precise

radioelectric orientation.

WINDBRACES

Stabilising rods in hot-dip galvanized steel, whose function is

to increase the stiffness of dish antennas and T-arm antenna

mounts.

Generally installed for larger diameter antennas (more than

1.0 m), windbraces can be fixed directly to a pipe mount

anchored to a telescopic arm or, in the case of side mounts on

working platforms, to one of the guardrails.

PROTECTION COMPONENTS FOR RADIANT SYSTEMS

include ice protection covers, dust and damp protected boxesfor R.F. terminations as well as radomes in high quality,

durable Hypalon fabric for dish antennas.

PIPE BRACKETS & ATTACHMENTS in hot-dip galvanized

steel are designed to solve problems related to the

installation and fixing of radiant systems, windbraces and pipe

mounts on non-standard metal structures and on buildings.

CLAMPS & MODULAR SUPPORTING DEVICES include

stainless steel clamps, ideal for ensuring perfect installation

of cables and wave guides on any type of support, and

aluminium alloy, modular support components for internal

and external use (cable bridges, brackets, rungs, etc.). See

also CLAMPCO SISTEMI Plant Accessories section on page

204.

WATERPROOF ENTRIES are modular components in

aluminium alloy, suitable for wall and roof installation. See

CLAMPCO SISTEMI Plant Accessories section on page 212.

GROUNDING PROTECTION carries the electrical discharge

picked up by the structures and coaxial cable to ground. See also

CLAMPCO SISTEMI Plant Accessories section on page 211.

AIRCRAFT WARNING LIGHT SYSTEMS, supplied as systems

with steady and flashing lights, with traditional incandescent

and low energy bulbs, as well as in the new LED array

configuration. See CLAMPCO SISTEMI Plant Accessories section

on page 193.

HORIZONTAL CABLE BRIDGES in hot-dip galvanized steel

are supplied complete with all the support accessories, such

as ground supporting frames, fixed and variable curve

components.

BALLAST COMPONENTS are used to fix antennas supporting

structures on roof areas or instead of foundations for the

kitstat or MOBISTAT articles.

The range is completed by adjustable length CLIMBING

LADDERS in hot-dip galvanized steel and fixing systems for

installation on buildings or on existing metal structures.

FENCING products in the catalogue include plastic-coated

wire mesh fencing and metal grating panels, as well as vehicle

and pedestrian access gates.

These T-arm mounts with a usable width of 5.0 m, are able to

support up to 6 omnidirectional or panel antennas fixed on

special pipe mounts (art. PMAR .) at any point along the

horizontal 100 mm square section tube. This member is divided

into three sections, the two outer sections pivot horizontally, inorder to help antenna installation and maintenance.

The mount, in hot-dip galvanized steel, is equipped with a

mechanical orientation system which allows precise tilting of the

antennas.

Azimuth adjustment is achieved by rotating the whole T-arm

mount around its vertical axis. The assembly is then locked in

position by means of windbraces (art. WBAR .).

All the mechanical adjustment components are in bronze and

stainless steel.

The T-arm is anchored to the main structure (tower, pole, etc),

by means of two fixing collars for 114 mm pipes.

These brackets enable antenna pipe mounts to be fixed to T-arm

mounts type TAAR 5, allowing adjustment of the distance

between the centre line of the pipe mount itself and the T-arm

support member. In this way, different radiant systems can be

installed on the same T-arm, with optimum positioning of theantennas and adequate radioelectric decoupling, both

horizontally and vertically.

The brackets, in hot-dip galvanized steel, are supplied complete

with pipes in various lengths and with fixing hardware.

art. TAPB .... pipe bracket with tube for antenna fixing

This consists of a hot-dip galvanized pipe bracket, with a tube

welded to it.

It is used for fixing panel or omnidirectional antennas.

The item is supplied complete with fixing hardware.

Pipe mounts are of various diameters and lengths, in hot-dip

galvanized steel.

With the help of suitable fixing systems, they can be used in many

situations as antenna support systems.

art. PCRA .... radome

Radomes for dish antennas consist of a Hypalon plastic fabric

which is extremely durable and resistant to atmospheric agents.

The radomes by calzavara are suitable for use with the majority of

dish antennas in the market and with the most commonly found

models which are no longer in production.

Non standard products can be supplied to Customers' specific

requirements.

The supply includes all the necessary stainless steel installation

accessories, such as fixing anchors and spring tensioners.

WINDBRACES

Single flange windbraces consist of tubes of various diameters and

lengths, with a flange at one end for fixing to the antenna mount.

They may be partially or totally fixed using a pipe adapter kit or

pipe bracket (art. PBAK . - PBTH .).


art. WBAR.... TT twin flange telescopic windbrace

Twin flange telescopic windbraces consist of two tubes of different

diameters and lengths, one inside the other, in order to provideincreased stiffness with telescopic extension.

Once the exact length of the windbrace has been determined, it is

locked by means of an intermediate collar which, when tightened,

prevents sliding of the tubes. These windbraces, in hot-dip

galvanized steel, have a flange at each end for fixing to antenna

support structures.

They may be partially or totally fixed using single, double or twist

brackets (art. PBSF . FS/FT - PBRF .).

PIPE BRACKETS & ATTACHMENTS

This bracket, in hot-dip galvanized steel, has a flange with a single

hole at one end, which allows a windbrace to be secured to tubes

and pipe mounts.

Connection to the windbrace is achieved by bolting the windbrace

flange to the bracket flange, while fixing to the tube is ensured by

clamping the bracket.


art. PBSF .... FS pipe bracket with single hole flange

This bracket, in hot-dip galvanized steel, has a flange with three

holes at one end, which allows up to three windbraces to be

secured to tubes and pipe mounts. Connection to the windbraces

is achieved by bolting the windbrace flanges to the bracket flange,

while fixing to the tube is ensured by clamping the bracket.


art. PBSF .... FT pipe bracket with three hole flange

art. PBRF .... twin lug rotating flange

This flange comprises two parallel lugs and is used for securing the

ends of windbraces, by means of bolts. This accessory, which is

bolted at the base, allows the windbrace to rotate in two planes, at

right angles to each other. Orientation of the windbrace in any

position is therefore possible. The accessory is made entirely of hot-dip galvanized steel and is supplied complete with fixing hardware.

The kit is designed to dissipate to ground the electrical discharge

picked up by the lightning protection system.

It connects directly to the base of the structure and consists of a

buried ring of copper conductor and grounding rods, surrounding

FENCING

These are hot-dip galvanized steel grating panels with a mesh s ize

of 63 x 132 mm, complete with surrounding frame.

They are available in various standard sizes, complete with fixing

hardware of the anti-intruder type. Special-size panels can be

made up on request (end pieces, shortened .).

These are hot-dip galvanized products made in three different types

of section (plate 80 x 8 mm, T 50 x 7 mm and L 80 x 8 mm), as

required, for fixing and supporting metal grating fencing panels.

T and plate section components are used for straight runs;

L section components are for supporting the panels at 90

angles. They are available in various sizes according to the height

of the fencing to be erected.

Mesh fencing in galvanized and plastic-coated steel wire. Supplied

in 25 m rolls, available in different heights and in two mesh patterns:

diamond mesh, which provides great adaptability on uneven

ground; suitable for all fencing which is not erected on a

These are hot-dip galvanized components made in two different

types of section (T 50 x 7 mm and L 80 x 6 mm), as required.

They are used to fix and support mesh fencing. T section

components are used for straight runs; L section components,

complete with two stiffening struts, are used to provide support at90 angles.

They are available in various sizes according to the height of the

fencing to be erected.

art. FEGP .... ME/CH modular guard panel

These hot-dip galvanized steel components consist of tubular

supporting structures and protective gratings. They are used as

guards and can be fixed to low concrete or brick walls and/or to

kerbs by means of suitable fixings, included in the supply.

These modular guard panels, which allow adjustment of the

spacing between two adjacent units, can be used to create guardsof any length, using three types of standard unit, without having

to resort to special components or on-site modifications to cope

with uneven ground. The item is supplied complete with hardware

and masonry fixing systems, comprising:
