Lu Murano è un marchio della Fornasier Luigi sas di

Murano, la vetreria artistica che dal 1968 produce

lampadari classici in vetro soffiato di altissima qualità,

secondo le antiche tradizioni muranesi della lavora-

zione del vetro. Pur nascendo dalla tradizione, l’arte

del Maestro Fabio Fornasier che disegna e crea

l’intera collezione Lu Murano, rompe gli schemi del

classicismo, per imporsi con un concept innovati-

vo, in un territorio votato al rispetto supremo delle

Lu Murano is a brand by Fornasier Luigi sas from Murano (Venice), the Art Glassmaker Studio that has been pro-

ducing classical blown-glass chandeliers of the highest quality since 1968, following the ancient traditions of glass

making from Murano. Despite deep roots in tradition, Master Fabio Fornasier, who designs and creates the entire

Lu Murano collection, breaks the classical schemes with his art and asserts himself with an innovative concept in

a landscape that is devoted to the ultimate respect for traditions, both in craftsmanship and business. The symbol

of this synthesis between tradition and innovation, history and modern technology is Lu, a truly unique chandelier,

result of passionate research and experimentation. Completely hand-made, this piece of decor expresses the vir-

tuous balance between glass and light, two transparent substances, impalpable, which reveal new potential and

synchronicity through Master Fornasier’s manual skills. Each chandelier from the Lu Murano collection is an exclusive

work of art, a piece of unique design, represented in a fascinating range of colors, transparencies and reflections.

Star of each locationAmong the many achievements within the hotel sector is the Hotel Belvedere in Locarno, a modern structure

located on the hill overlooking the city, with a magnificent view over the mountains. For the interior design project,

chandeliers and wall lamps from the LU Murano collection were chosen to set the stage. Star of the lobby is the

spectacular installation of the black LU, in the splendor of its 36 lights, while the lounge area, restaurant hall and

even the veranda display wall and hanging lamps from the same collection.

simbolo di questa sintesi di tradizione e innovazione,

di storia e di modernità è Lu, un lampadario davvero

unico, frutto di appassionate ricerche e sperimenta-

zioni. Completamente fatto a mano, questo oggetto

d’arredo esprime l’equilibrio virtuoso di vetro e di

luce, due materie trasparenti, impalpabili che attra-

verso la manualità del Maestro Fornasier, rivelano

nuove potenzialità e sincronie. Ogni lampadario della

collezione Lu Murano è un’opera d’arte esclusiva ,

un pezzo unico di design, declinato in una affasci-

nante gamma di colori, trasparenze e riflessi.

Protagonista degli ambienti

Fra le numerose realizzazioni in ambito alberghiero

c’è l’Hotel Belvedere di Locarno, una moderna

struttura sulla collina che domina la città, con splen-

dida vista sulle montagne. Il progetto di interior ha

scelto di caratterizzare gli spazi con la presenza di

lampadari e applique della collezione LU Murano.

Protagonista della lobby è la scenografica installa-

zione del LU nero, nello splendore delle sue 36 luci

e nella zona conversazione, nella sala ristorante e

persino nella veranda, fanno bella mostra applique

e sospensioni della stessa collezione.
