Nel calendario della WSK 2013, dopo Euro e Master Series, all’appello mancava la Final Cup. Ora, il momento è arrivato e qui, a Castelletto di Branduzzo, i migliori drivers si ritrovano azzerando le distanze che li hanno portati per il mondo in questo 2013, preparandosi a incrociare le ruote per inseguire l’ultimo trofeo WSK. Dai più giovani della 60 Mini alle “vecchie volpi” della KZ2, passando per KF e KFJ, le sfide sono tante e tutte dense di significati: tra chi sogna la zampata per sistemare un’annata sfortunata e chi vuole ribadire la forza già dimostrata altre volte.Gli appassionati sono pronti allo show. Perché lo spettacolo, infondo, deve ancora, e sempre, cominciare di nuovo.

The 2013 WSK calendar, after the Euro and Master Series, was waiting for the Final Cup to be complete. The moment has finally come and the world’s best drivers are meeting up once more here, in Castelletto di Branduzzo, levelling the distance travelled around the world over the season, to cross paths on the quest for the last WSK trophy. From the youngest of the 60 Mini to the “old foxes” of the KZ2, with KF and KFJ in between, there are many challenges in wait, all loaded with meaning: from those who dream of a forceful pounce to remedy for an unlucky year, to those who can’t wait to reaffirm their authority again. Fans are ready for the show. Indeed, because the show is about to begin, anew.

7 LAGHI CIRCUITThe 7 Laghi Circuit is in Castelletto di Branduzzo, near Pavia, northern Italy. Extending for a total length of 1256 meters, it is one of Italy’s favorites for its configuration, which enhances driving skills, with a main straight (170 meters long and 10 wide) ensuring limit break-outs and breathtaking overtakes. The venue is relatively new: in fact it was inaugurated in 2002. Over these years, however, it has already achieved a fame of prestige, hosting some of the most important top level international events.

Il Circuito 7 Laghi si trova in località Castelletto di Branduzzo, in provincia di Pavia. Lungo 1256 metri, è tra i favoriti d’Italia per la sua configurazione che esalta le qualità della guida, con un rettilineo principale (170 metri di lunghezza per 10 metri di larghezza) ad assicurare staccate al limite e sorpassi mozzafiato. Il kartodromo è relativamente giovane, è stato infatti inaugurato nel 2002. In questi anni ha, però, già raggiunto una fama di prestigio, ospitando eventi internazionali di massimo livello.

TO SEE....The closest cities are Pavia, less than 20 kilometers away, and Milan, about 50 km. Both offer plenty of tourist attractions, commercial thrills, and entertainment.

DA VEDERE....Le maggiori città che si trovano nelle vicinanze del tracciato sono Pavia, a meno 20 chilometri, e Milano che dista circa 50 chilometri. Entrambe offrono attrattive sia a livello turistico che commerciale.

In the Belgian championship closer, the checkered flag waved to honor the title victory by Max Verstappen in KZ and by Emil Antonsen in KZ2. Both gave their very best on the Genk circuit, but while the Dutchman imposed his total authority, the Norwegian made it on the 1st step by just one point.

Four winners for four titles after four rounds of the WSK Euro Series. The Genk track sees Lando Norris claim the KFJ title, while in KF Dorian Boccolacci tops the heated battle. Riccardo Negro goes home as the KZ2 Euro winner, while in the KZ1 Max Verstappen signs his name on the top step of the podium.

Nell’appuntamento finale di giugno la bandiera a scacchi ha sventolato conclamando le vittorie di Max Verstappen nella KZ e Emil Antonsen nella KZ2. Il circuito di Genk, in Belgio, ha esaltato lo stile di guida dei due piloti. Se il primo ha però dominato, il successo del norvegese è stato sancito per un solo punto di vantaggio.

Quattro vincitori per quattro successi dopo quattro round di WSK Euro Series. Genk vede Lando Norris conquistarsi la vittoria in KFJ, mentre nella KF è Dorian Boccolacci a primeggiare in una gara piuttosto agguerrita. Riccardo Negro si è invece portato a casa il titolo della KZ2, mentre in KZ1 è stato Max Verstappen a salire sul gradino più alto.

At this point in the season he is turning into a ruthless dominator: when Max Verstappen is on track, reaching for victory seems close to impossible. Rivals seem unable to scare him and he graduates (again) as European Champion, this time in KF. The confirmation also comes in KFJ, with the great win by Lando Norris.

The Italian circuit in Ortona sanctioned Alessio Lorandi‘s KFJ success as a home win, and sealed the deal for Spanish driver Eliseo Martinez Merono in the 60 Mini. The KZ2 and KF categories, instead, closed with well-deserved confirmations, respectively for Verstappen and Boccolacci.

Il suo sta diventando un dominio spietato: quando in pista c’è l’olandese Max Verstappen fare i conti con la vittoria appare un qualcosa di sempre meno scontato. Nessun rivale sembra capace di spaventarlo e lui si laurea di nuovo Campione Europeo, questa volta in KF. La conferma arriva anche in KFJ, con la bella vittoria di Lando Norris.

Il circuito italiano di Ortona ha realizzato l’obiettivo di Alessio Lorandi di vincere in casa nella KFJ e sancisce il successo dello spagnolo Eliseo Martinez Merono nella 60 Mini. Di conferme invece si parla nelle categorie KZ2 e KF dove, rispettivamente, Verstappen e Boccolacci trionfano meritando.

Dorian Boccolacci has to work hard for the conquest of this success. A great race, where others are just as fast, that in the end rewards the Frenchman’s steadiest pace.

It could go one of two ways: some are expecting the confirmation of those who so far have proven to be the best, others are convinced there is room for unexpected surprises.

The event on the unprecedented stage of Bahrain will seal the end of a season that calling fierce would be reductive. Who will win? We just have to wait to find out.

Il francese Dorian Boccolacci deve faticare, e non poco, per la conquista di questo successo. Una bella gara dove anche altri piloti girano veloci, che alla fine premia la tenuta più costante.

Le strade sono due: c’è chi pensa che si confermeranno i piloti che fino qua hanno dimostrato di essere i migliori e chi afferma che potrà esserci spazio per qualche inaspettata sorpresa.

Sarà questo inedito appuntamento targato Bahrain a siglare la fine di una stagione che definirla agguerrita sarebbe riduttivo. Chi vincerà? Per scoprirlo non resta che aspettare.
