Personal description

I am a very creative and imaginative person. I like drawing,

modelling clay and painting on fabrics since I was a child.

Colors are one of my very irst passion. When I was very little I refused to draw, even though I was good at it (I proved it

sometimes, but not often). I preferred to divide a paper in four

sections and paint each one with a different color, trying to

match them. I did that until I was three or four years old.

Because of my love for drawing, I loved shadows and highlights

and now, after my Master’s degree in Architecture, I can say I

love light effects and shades.

Moreover, I love travelling and I do whenever I can.

When I visit a new place, the thing I recall better is the atmosphere of places I loved. I may not remember every

detail but the perception that atmosphere made me feel is

clear and it is what I try to reproduce in spaces I imagine and

hope I will build one day.

RE|UPLOADING BOZENThe project is located in BOZEN, a city in the northern

region of Italy. The aim is to create an eficent neighborhood, that produces its own energy and recycles its own waste. That neighborhood is composed by DETACHED

HOUSES, each one is studied to be possibly divided in the future. Exposition prevents inhabitants from soffering for cold winds and trees protect from hot rays of sun. Every house is inhabited by four people at the current state, but a division is made possible and easy by creating two entrance, two stairs, two bathrooms etc. Therefore, the house could be easily converted in a semi-detached house. Energetically, the house it is composed by a heart (that has to be protected and warmed) and a buffer (that acts as an armor). The heart contains served spaces and the buffer contains service spaces, which need less heat. These system guarantee the least amount of thermal dispersion and therefore a more eficient insulation.

NEW COMIC CENTER OF BOLOGNA the project is located in BoloGna, a city where comics are

a cultural attraction. Artists of every kind pass trough Bologna, where the audience is huge and the love for comics is innate. The problem is that there are not oficial places where this culture can improve and evolve. There is no school for comics, no museum for comics and no places where the new media, like 3D cartoons can be produced. The perfect place to express that culture is Giardino del Cavaticcio, which is one of the most important place of experimentation in the city. Every part of the area is characterized by stimulating and original activities, except for a disused cinema and an old Palace. My collegue and I decided to intervene here to create a New Comic Center of Bologna.

WINDOW BUILDING The project consists in a building that shows the life lowing inside by means

of a window that is complitely transparent. It is located in Bologna. The aim is hooking

drivers’ and pedestrians’ attention in order to make them want to go inside. Position is crucial to reach this purpose. The main access to area is from a roundabout to the north, emphasized by a change in mobility. Here the maijor building has been located, in order to have the highest visibility. The block is delimited by two streeets : via Massarenti and via Rimesse, which are trafic congested many hours a day. Because of that, vehicles go through those street very slowly, and drivers and passengers have the opportunity to look out of the car at the shop windows, restaurants, bars, gym and supermarket that are inside the block. The itinerary inside the buildings are studied to let the people outside look at people inside’s actions.

CORTE DELLE ERBE(a) The project consists in a courtyard for an antique pharmacy in the historic

centre of Bologna, via San Felice. The aim of the project is hiding an air-conditioning system and restoring the courtyard, which was the only part of the building wich hasn’t been renovated. Two projects were created for this area. The irst one aims to create a luid outdoor space that links all the ofices facing the courtyard. The lux of people is guided by lowerbeds, where medicinal herbs grow. The air-conditioning system is no longer visible thanks to a structure that is made by the same material of the loor: wood boards.

The second one aims to divide the space which is longer then wide. Platforms of different

hights allows to create different areas with better leght-width proportions. The higher

platftorms are made of wood loorboards, while the lower once are entirely covered by gravel and characterized by the presence of cor ten vases. These vases can contain

medicinal erbs that pharmacists plant and take care of, in order to create therapeutic

products.

WSD Wine Social DistrictItaly is the irst wine producer and exporter in the world. In

spite of that, there are not enough exposition and wine-tasting centres. This project aims

to create the biggest winehouse of the world in Sesto San Giovanni, near Milan. The WSD won’t be a regular winery. Exibition itineraries will host people of interest and show historic

step-over of the wine production. It starts from the Caveau (on the ground loor) and ends on the irst loor, where the Business function are based. Two of the main activities are the wine club and the greenhouse.

The irst one is a place of excellence where the visitors can taste wine and food that experts matched to enhance each other’s lavour. The second one hosts a restaurant and allows visitors to taste the courses in a natural

environment, looking at the activities that take place in the other areas of the district.
