SIPRIME ZINC PHOS 210 Epoxy Zinc Phosphate Primer Product No. 6210
• Anti corrosive primer.
• Provides excellent corrosion protection and adhesion to steel, galvanise and aluminium.
• Easy Application : Spray, Roller or Brush
• Polyamide cured
• Pigmented with zinc phosphate and iron oxide.
• As a rust inhibiting primer for steel, galvanising and aluminium. Forms the basis of high performance coating systems when top coated with epoxy or polyurethane type coatings for the protection of steel structures in industrial and marine environments.
Finish Eggshell
Colour Oxide RedfGrey/white
Volume Solids: Approx.55%
Recommended Film Thickness : 40 -75 microns DFT = 73 - 136 microns WFT
Theoretical Coverage : 13.8 m2fltr. at 40 microns DFT
Density Approx.1.35 kg/ltr.
Drying and Recoating Times
(20'C/65% RH) :
Dust free 02 Hours
Minimum recoating time 4-6 Hours
Dry to handle 12 Hours
Maximum recoating time No Limit
Heat Resistant :
Up to 120'C in dry environment
Flash Point (closed cup method)
Base over 28'C
Hardener : over 28'C
Preparation Steel Surfaces All surfaces must be free of oil, grease and moisture before blast cleaning to Near White Metal Steel Structures Painting Council SP10 or ISO 8501-1 SA 2.5. Surface must be free of grit dust. Primer should be applied to cleaned surfaces as soon as possible to prevent rerusting or contamination . For areas where sandblasting cannot be accomplished, hand clean, preferably with power disc sander, to bright, non-polished metal.
Aluminium and Galvanised Surfaces New surfaces must be free of grease, oil, moisture and dirt and treated with a mordant solution of SIPGAL VTREAT 626 according to label directions. A light blast cleaning or abrasive blasting after degreasing is the ideal surface preparation prior to coating. Old surfaces require cleaning with SIPCLEAN 615 Cleaner followed by a high pressure water rinse.

Application Data Mixing Ratio by Volume Base
Hardener 4 parts 1 part
Mixing Advice Prior to application, stir the Base, add Hardener and mix thoroughly to obtain a homogeneous mixture. Use a mixer for this which is powered by air or a flameproof electromotor.
Thinning Thinner 730. When mixed, the paint is ready for brush or airless spray application. If the paint is too thick, in cold weather for example, then add a small amount of the specified thinner to obtain the suitable viscosity. The amount of thinner that may be added is dependent on the application conditions and methods. Over-thinning will lead to poor results. Add thinner only after mixing of the components.
Pot Life 8 hours at 25°C.
Application Condition
Cleaning of Equipment
Application temperature: 5 - 50'C. The minimum temperature required for satisfactory drying is 10'C. The surface temperature must be at least 3'C above the dew point to prevent condensation . Never apply paint under adverse weather conditions. In confined spaces, constant purging of the air during application and drying is necessary to eliminate solvent vapours for reasons of health and safety as well as to assist evaporation.
Airless Spray Recommended Thinner Thinner 730 Thinner Addition 0 - 20 vol. % Nozzle Orifice 0.017" - 0.023 " Working Pressure 140 - 160 bar
Brush/Roller Thinner 730 0- 5 vol. %
The recommended method of application is by airless spray, 30:1 pump. Use of brush or roller should be restricted to small areas only. The spray fan should be adjusted depending on the nature and the shape of the substrate to be painted in order to affect that over-spray can be restricted to a minimum. Use Thinner 730.

C - SAPOL VOL L 3050
The polyfunctionality i. e. the number of reactive hydroxyls or reactive radicals of the base compound determines the final functionality ofthe polyols. Rigid polyurethane foams require the use of highly functional reactants which are most useful when based upon polyols having functionality of 3 or greater.
Polyols can be supplied as a single component, or it can be provided as blended polyol mixture. It is used for laminated insulating fDam.

SAPOLYOL I/B/1512 REV. NO. 100
This special Polyol is blended for the production of rigid foam for injection purposes and foam blocks. It is classified according to DIN 4102 Part I, as B2.
The SAPOLYOL lIB/ 1512 can be processed on all commercially available equipments and provided in various versions, tailored to the customers individual requirements.

STORAGE: Many Polyol blends are hygroscopic and care should be taken to provide minimum exposure to atmospheric moisture by keeping the containers properly sealed when not in use.
PRECAUTIONS: Blended polyol mixtures contain tertiary amines / and or organic metallic compounds as catalysts / additives, therefore contact with the skin or eyes may cause irritation & should be avoided .
However, the polyol used, in general belong to a class of higher molecular weight compounds, which under normal circumstances of handling & use, do not present a significant hazard to users.
In all cases the normal standards of industrial hygiene, should be observed when handling these materials.
