That’s not all, folks!, ovvero “Non è ancora tutto, ragazzi!” è una sorta di monito ammiccante

che, svelando la formazione cartoonistica dell’artista, lascia una porta aperta ad un imminente

secondo tempo. Robyola Von Wünsch, giovane fotografa di Rovigo, che con i suoi scatti riesce

a catturare con un’ironia mai troppo sobria la nostra sensibilità visiva. Tre sono le tematiche

toccate dall’artista veneta che, con dichiarata e disinvolta vemenza, riequilibria nei suoi

ripetuti scatti le imagini iconiche dei suoi autoritratti Pop, le surreali distensioni di paesaggi

urbani ed industriali, e feticistiche interpretazioni di favole passate. Le sue opere fotografiche

abbracciano una disinvolta onoricità espressiva, condotta non solo attraverso uno studio

attento del e sull’immagine, ma anche in relazione al suo riadattamento grafico e digitalizzato.

Come riassumere il suo stile? “Everything is beautiful, and if it’s not we’ll make it that way”.

BIOGRAFIA

Roberta Felin, aka Robyola von Wünsch, nasce a Rovigo nel 1990 e passa la sua adolescenza

tra il ribelle e il vizioso esplorando il mondo qua e là, dove arte, musica e teatro furono colonne

portanti della sua vita. Il gioco con la fotografia iniziò all’età di 15 anni quando arrivò la sua

prima compatta regalata dai genitori. Nel settembre 2010, piena di entusiasmo e voglia

d’imparare si trasferisce a Milano, dove s’iscrive all’Istituto Italiano di Fotografia. Nel 2011 inizia

il suo percorso col video iscrivendosi al CFP Vigorelli. Attraversando l’Italia da Milano a Trapani

con numerose collettive, la presente mostra a GANZO è la sua prima personale a Firenze.

That’s not all, folks! This phrase, which in itself reveals the artist’s cartoonist training, is an

alluring invite to an impending second act. Robyola Von Wünsch, a young photographer

from Rovigo located in the Veneto region, captures visual sensibility with modest irony.

Through her photographs, Von Wünsch balances three themes with declared and nonchalant

vehemence: fetish-like interpretations of fairytales, iconic images of Pop self-portraits, and

surreal stretches of urban and industrial landscapes. Her photographic works envelop a

casual and relaxed dreamlike expressiveness, transmitted not only through a careful study of

the image and its background, but also in relation to its graphic and digital manipulation. How

can one summarize her style? “Everything is beautiful, and if it’s not we’ll make it that way”.

BIOGRAPHY

Roberta Felin, aka Robyola von Wünsch, was born in Rovigo in 1990 and spent her

adolescence between rebellion and vice, exploring the world while art, music and

theater stood as the main pillars in her life. She first began toying with photography

when her parents gave her her first Compact at the age of 15. In September 2010, eager

to learn and full of enthusiasm, she moved to Milano and enrolled in the Italian Institute

of Photography. In 2011 she began her studies in video and attended CFP Vigorelli.

Having participated in numerous collective exhibits in Italy, ranging from Milan to

Trapani, Robyola von Wünsch now holds her first solo exhibit in Florence at GANZO.
