SAET has over thirty years’ experience with hydraulic power plants both as the sup-plier of power panels and in operations of automation and restructuring, as well as SYSTEM INTEGRATORS for turnkey supplies with products/performance that include all or most of the following aspects:• System engineering and selection of the equipment to be used, with feasibility studies for small hydraulic power plants.• System engineering for regulation, auxiliary services and electric protection. • Supply of bacin level regulators for hydroelectric plants up to five units• Design and construction of protection, control and power panels with relay or PLC automation, MV panels for machinery, star centers, auxiliary service boards, field switches.• General and detailed electrical engineering• Installation of equipment, laying of cables and connection • Startup tests, activation and operation

SAET initiated its activity in the sector of substations by supplying the protection and control panels according to the ENEL standards (later unified as ENEL DCO90 and DPT96) with the relative auxiliary AD and DC services. The activity of electromechanical assembly of HV equipment that led to attainment of ENEL CAA/1100 qualification represented the natural deve-lopment of SAET’s activities as a service in the sector of Power Substations.After a number of experience in the complete design of substations up to 380 kV (from the lay out of the yard to the design of the auxiliary services and systems of protection and control) SAET has been qualified as a supplier of complete turnkey substations with important contracts in Italy and abroad, with an integrated view that enables the client to deal with a single contractor for POWER, PROTECTION and CONTROL.

SAET ha iniziato la propria attività nelle sottostazioni fornendo i quadri di Protezione e Controllo secondo le standardizzazioni ENEL (unificazione ENEL DCO90 e DPT96) con i relativi servizi ausiliari CC e CA. L’attività di montaggi elettromeccanici di apparecchiature AT che ha portato alla qualifica ENEL CAA/1100 ha rappresentato la naturale evoluzione SAET nel settore Sottostazioni Elettriche.Dopo alcune esperienze di progettazione completa di sottostazioni fino a 380 kV (dal lay out di piazzale alla progettazione dei servizi ausiliari e dei sistemi di protezione e controllo) SAET si è qualificata come fornitore di sottostazioni complete chiavi in mano con importanti realizzazioni in Italia ed all’estero, con una visione integrata che consente al cliente di avere un unico interlocutore per POTENZA, PROTEZIONE e CONTROLLO.

SAET designs and supplies power panels for medium and low voltage for power plants and power distribution centers. SAET ha sviluppato un accordo di collaborazione con GENERAL ELECTRIC nel settore delle protezioni elettriche in cui ora opera come VAR (Value Added Reseller) integrando le apparecchiature GE Multilin nei sistemi di protezione e controllo di propria fornitura (SCADA gestione sistema elettrico).

SAET è quindi in grado di fornire al cliente soluzioni complete ed integrate per POTENZA, PROTEZIONE e CONTROLLO, AUTOMAZIONE destinate a : • CENTRALI• STAZIONI AT• IMPIANTI INDUSTRIALI AT/MT/BTa partire dalla progettazione di sistema, fino alla messa in servizio dei quadri di potenza e dei sistemi di controllo.

SAET has stipulated a collaboration agreement with GENERAL ELECTRIC, in the sector of electric protection where it operates as a VAR (Value Added Reseller) integrating the GE Multilin equipment into its protection and control systems (SCADA electrical system management).

SAET can therefore supply its clients complete, integrated solutions for POWER, PROTECTION and CONTROL, AUTOMATION for: • POWERPLANTS• HV STATIONS• HV/MV/LV INDUSTRIAL SYSTEMSstarting from system engineering, all the way to startup of the power boards and control system.

SAET has its own resources of automation and can supply complete solutions of automation and supervision of installations including possible integration with DCS.

PROTECTIONS

SAET con le proprie risorse è in grado di fornire soluzioni complete di automazione e supervisione di impianto compreso l’eventuale integrazione con DCS.

SAET è entrata nel settore WTE (Waste to Energy) per l’esperienza acquisita da lunghi anni nei cementifici, con sistemi di estrazione movimentazione dosaggio e macinazione materie prime. Più recentemente ha avuto esperienze con il CDR e RSU (rifiuti solidi urbani) con forniture chiavi in mano per impianti completi.

Particolarmente significativa è la realizzazione dell’impianto CDR per il Co-Firing CDR-Carbone nella centrale Enel di Fusina per la quale Saet ha fornito in opera un impianto di ricezione, salvaguardia ambientale, macinazione, movimentazione, dosaggio e trasporto pneumatico per l’alimentazione con CDR delle caldaie Gruppi 3 e 4.

Inoltre i sistemi di automazione realizzati per inceneritori, depurazione acque , smaltimento rifiuti, desalinizzazione, depolverazione fumi, completano il know how aziendale in questo settore.

SAET has entered the WTE (Waste to Energy) sector with its experience acquired from many years in Cement Plant, with raw materials extracting, weighing, milling systems. More recently it has had experience with RDF (Refuse Derived Fuel) and SUW (solid urban waste) with turnkey supplies of complete installations.

A particularly significant project was the construction of the RDF installation for Co-Firing RDF-Coal in the ENEL power plant at Fusina where Saet supplied a treatment plant with reception and environmental safeguard, grinding, handling, dosing and pneumatic transport to feed the furnaces in Groups 3 and 4 with RDF.

In addition, the automation systems for incinerators, water treatment, waste disposal, desa-linization, fume dedusting, complete the company’s know how in this sector.
