field of production of pavings for exteriors and

Il supporto centrale è una delle numerose innovazioni studiate e brevettate nei Laboratori MaspeLab. Questo nuovo prodotto, abbinato al supporto MORPHO, permette di irrobustire ancora di più la posa di pavimenti e piastre.

Evita l’impiego di betoniere per le malte,necessarie nell’impiego di altriprocedimenti edilizi.Aumenta la sicurezza, la stabilità e la duratadell’installazione. Grazie al materiale e al design,anche carichi gravosi non ne deformano le caratteristiche strutturali.È molto semplice da usare e la sua strutturaauto-livellante permette di adattarsi ad ognispessore, a piani sconnessi e con inclinazionidifferenti. Il suo range di adattamentocorrisponde a quello del Morpho:da 20 mm a 32 mm.

The central support is one of the numerous studied and patented innovations of MaspeLab laboratories. This new product, combined with the support MORPHO, allows to strengthen still more the laying of pavings and slabs.

It avoids the use of cement mixers,necessary for the use in other buildingproceedings.It increases the security, the stability andthe durability of the installation. Thanksto the material and the design eventhe maximal load to support doesn’tmisshape the structural characteristics. It is easy to use and its self-levellingstructure permits the adaptation to eachthickness, to not joined levels and withdifferent gradients. Its adaptation range corresponds to the Morpho one:from 20 mm to 32 mm.

È il collante bi-componente studiato e testato nei laboratori MaspeLab per l’applicazione professionale. Il prodotto è facile da utilizzareed è caratterizzato dalla presa rapida e il ritiro nullo. Dopo l’uso, avvitando adeguatamenteil tappo, Maspekimik non indurisce e può essere utilizzato anche dopo la prima apertura.

La fuga MorphoJoint è un elemento che migliora il risultato finale estetico della pavimentazione, grazie al suo particolare innesto che assicuraun ancoraggio permanente. La sua azionedi giunzione riduce sia le infiltrazioni di sporco tra le fughe sia la quantità d’acqua che entrain contatto con la guaina, quindi il bisognodi manutenzione sotto la pavimentazione.

NB: È necessario prevedere una pendenza minima di almeno 1,5 %, per garantire il corretto deflusso delle acqua pluviali.

NB: It’s necessary to provide for a minimal slope of at least 1,5 %, to guarantee the correct down flow of the raining water.

It’s the bi-component glue studied and tested in the MaspeLab laboratories for the professional application. The product can be easily used and is characterized by a fast adhesion and doesn’t retire. After the use, by screwing the cap appropriately, Masoekimik does not harden and can be used even after ithas been opened for the first time.

The joint MorphoJoint is an element, which improves the final aesthetic result of the paving, thanks to its particular coupling, which assures a permanent anchoring. Its connection action reduces as well the infiltrations of dirt between the joints as the quantity of the water which goes in contact with the sheating and thus the need of upkeep below the paving.

Il MorphoSand è un nuovo tipo di supporto adatto alla posa su sabbia o pietrisco.La pavimentazione rimane comunque solo pedonabile ma con un maggiore supporto negli angoli che aiuta a mantenere la stessa complanarità. Le alette distanziatrici inoltre consentono il filtraggio dell’acqua verso ilfondo che deve essere previsto drenante per evitare la formazione di ristagni d’acqua.Consigliamo di usare pietrisco 3/6 per ottenere questo scopo.

MorphoSand is a new type of plastic support suitable for the laying on sand or grit. In any case the paving remains only for pedestrians, but with a higher support at the corners, which keepthe floor coplanar. Moreover the detached wings permit the water runoff in the underground, which has to be planed drained, toavoid the formation of water retentions. We advise the use of grit 3/6to obtain this aim.

The line of plastic supports adapts with simplicityand security to each paving type.These plastic supports are ideal to guarantee an homogeneous and elegant laying, without producing drastic intervention to already existing structures and rooting outthe problems of moisture, water infiltration, passage of cables or tubes, always allowing an easy and quick inspection.

The spacing wings have been developed in orderto be easily taken off for the application in the angles or against the wall.

MASPE “SU MISURA“

MaspeLab, il centro tecnologico dedicato alla progettazione e allo sviluppo dei nuovi prodotti, per rispondere alle varie richiestedi mercato, amplia la gamma dei suoi prodotti mettendoa disposizione della clientela il “taglio su misura”.

Da oggi molti dei prodotti Maspe presenti a listino potranno infatti essere tagliati, oltre che in lunghezza e larghezza, anche nello spessore.

Il risultato è che queste piastre potranno essere utilizzate siacome pavimentazione a spessore ribassato, sia come zoccolatura, rivestimento o copertina per recinzioni.

MASPELAB

NB: Per pavimentazioni carrabili lo spessore della piastra dovrà essere pari a 2 cm.

Concepita per tutti i casi in cui si abbia la necessità di realizzareuna pavimentazione con uno spessore non standard.Se avete una vecchia pavimentazione da coprire o sostituire ma siete vincolati da uno spessore specifico Maspe risolverà i Vostri problemi!

La tolleranza nel taglio è di ± 2 mm.Nel caso di articoli con superficie molto strutturata (come per esempio la Pietra di Prun o la Pietra Ardesia) bisogna prevedere 2/3 mmdi spessore nella partenza.

In fact from today onwards many Maspe products included in the price list can be cut, besides in length and width, even in thickness.

The result is an use of those slabs as well as paving with a reduced thickness, as skirting, wall covering or covering of fences.

They are drawn up for all cases, where it is necessary to realizea paving with a not standard thickness.In case that you need to cover or substitute an old paving, but you are bound by a specific thickness, Maspe can solve your problems!

The skirtings are essential elements for the finish of a paving. They can be laid as well in a single row, as in a double row, offering aesthetic results in harmony with the execution. The skirtings are produced for almost all typesof Maspe products.

The skirting with a thickness of 2 cm, can be adjustedin the liked height (till the maximal height of the slab) enlarging in this manner its protective and decorative function.

Questo tipo di posa viene effettuata su appositi supporti in plastica posizionati sopra le guainedi protezione ottenendo notevoli vantaggi quali:- una rapida installazione,- un migliore isolamento termoacustico,- una semplice manutenzione del manto

impermeabile,- un pratico accesso ad eventuali impianti installati nel sottofondo, senza dover ricorrere ad opere di demolizione.

Predisporre la pavimentazione galleggiantecon i supporti Morpho.I supporti sono utilizzabili con piastre di vario spessore. Per informazioni dettagliate vedi tabella “Prescrizione pavimenti galleggianti” a pag. 114.È necessario prevedere una pendenza minimadel 1,5% nel caso più sfavorevole, per garantireil corretto deflusso delle acque pluviali.Gli scarichi dovranno essere posizionati con una quota idonea per evitare che l’acqua ristagni.Tali scarichi dovranno inoltre avere diametronon inferiore a 10 cm (di luce interna libera)e nella misura di 1 ogni 50 mq di terrazza.

Durante la posa verificare che le piastre appoggino nei 4 angoli. In caso di basculaggio regolare il supporto inserendo la vite regolatrice nella sede filettata apposita. Ruotarla in senso orario fino al raggiungimento della perfetta planarità.

Collocare il supporto centrale nel punto corrispondente al centro della piastra.

Applicare il MaspeKimik nell’apposito vano del supporto centrale, fino a riempirlo completamente.Nel caso dovesse servire maggiore stabilità, ripetere l’operazione anche nelle vaschette predisposte del Supporto Morpho.

Inserire la fuga nella fessura tra le piastre tramite utensile. Livellare per tutta la lunghezza e tagliarela fuga a misura delle fessure corte.

This type of laying is carried out on special plastic supports, placed on protection coverings, offering considerable advantages, such as:- a rapid installation,- a better sound/heat insulation,- an easier maintenance of the waterproof mantle,- a practical access to the underground, without carrying out any demolition.

DRY LAYING ON PLASTIC SUPPORTS FOR WALKABLE PAVINGS

Arrange in advance the raised paving with the Morpho supports.The supports can be used with tiles having different thicknesses. For detailed information look at the list “Indications for floating pavings” on page 114.A minimum slope of 1,5% must be provided in the most unfavourable situation, in order to guarantee the correct rain water runoff.Those drains have to positioned with a suitable level in order to avoid the stagnation of water. They must also have a diameter of not less than 10 cm (free inside opening) with 1 drain each 50 sq mof terrace.

During the laying control that the slabs leanin the 4 angles. In case of vibrations set thesupport by introducing the adjustment screwin the suitable thread. Rotate clockwise tillreaching the perfect planarity.

1. Prepare a 15-20 cm well-rammed and flat laying level, in order to prevent possible yielding.2. Lay a nonwoven.3. Lay a 3-4 cm well-washed crushed stone “bed” layer with a granulometry of 3/6 mm or 4/8 mm; level and tamp well. In no case the slopes have to be obtained by changing the thickness of the slabs’ “bed” layer.

It is advisable to use gravel with a granulometryof 16-35 mm.Important: A minimum slope of 2% (2 cm per meter) must be provided, also of the laying level.

NB.:The use of sand and not of crushed stone, might favour the efflorescence phenomenon.

Per pavimentazioni carrabili eseguire il sottofondo in ghiaione compatto (può essere utilizzato anche quello preesistente). Stendere uno strato di circa10 cm di CLS con rete elettrosaldata.

Stendere il massetto di malta dosata a 250 Kg/m3 di cemento, avente uno spessore di circa 4/6 cm.

Già in fase di progetto prevedere in funzione delle dimensioni e della forma geometrica del pavimento idonei giunti di dilatazione. I giunti devono tagliare sottofondo, massetto e pavimentazione per poter “assorbire” le eventuali dilatazioni.

Realizzare la pavimentazione avendo cura di predisporre un’adeguata pendenza di cm 1 per metro, in modo da garantire il buon deflusso delle acque ed evitare (soprattutto nelle zone fredde)che la pavimentazione rimanga “in immersione”.

Procedere al montaggio delle piastre conun collante per esterni seguendo le istruzioni specifiche dell’adesivo utilizzato.

Spolverare col cemento. Posare le mattonelle livellandole con un asse di legno e il martellodi gomma. Maspe raccomanda di fare attenzione a non sporcare con la malta il pavimento (nel caso pulire subito prima che il cemento abbia fatto presa).

Nelle zone montane consigliamo la posa con fuga cementizia per garantire una miglior tenuta.Effettuare la fugatura delle marmette avendo cura di riempirla fino all’inizio del bisello (come da disegno) per correggere eventuali lievi irregolarità del bisello delle piastre.

Consigliamo di realizzare una fuga cementizia di modo da sigillare gli interstizi tra una piastra e l’altra ed impedire all’acqua di ristagnare tra il massetto e le piastre. Questo per evitare distacchi in caso di gelo e contrastare il fenomeno dell’efflorescenza.Nel caso vengano posate con fuga si consiglia di 8 mm circa. La sigillatura può essere fatta con una normale boiacca o altri preparati che si trovano comunemente in commercio.È bene bagnare abbondantemente le mattonelle prima di fugarle e pulirle subito dopo con una spugna umida, avendo cura di risciacquarla spesso.

For pavings suitable for vehicles, prepare the foundation with compact scree (even the pre-existing can be used). Spread an approx. 10 cm layer of concrete with electro welded net on the foundation.

THE LAYING WITH ADHESIVE / MORTAR FOR PAVINGS SUITABLE FOR VEHICLES

Spread the mortar screed proportioned at 250 kg/m³ of cement, having a thickness of about 4/6 cm.

Already during the planning provide for suitable expansion joints according to the size and geometric shape of the floor. The joints have to cut the foundation, the cement floor and the paving, in order to have the possibility to “absorb” eventual expansions.

Realize the paving by paying attention to arrange an appropriate slope of 1 cm per meter in order to guarantee a good water down flow to avoid (especially in cold areas) that the paving remains“in immersion”.

Proceed with the assembling of the tiles witha specific adhesive for exteriors, by followingthe specific instructions of the used adhesive.

Dust with cement and lay the tiles, leveling them with a wooden board and rubber mallet. Maspe recommends to pay attention to not dirt the paving with mortar (if this happens clean immediately before the cement sticks).

For mountain areas we advise the laying with cement joint in order to guarantee a better seal.Carry out the joint of the tiles by being careful to fill it up till the chamfer (as you can see also on the scheme), in order to correct possible light unevennesses of the tiles‘ chamfer.

We advise to realize a cement joint, in order to seal the interstices between one tile and the other and for preventing that water stagnates between the cement layer and the tiles, in order to avoid separations in case of freeze and to contrast the efflorescence phenomenon. In case they are laid with a joint, we advise a width of the joint of approx. 8 mm. Sealing can be done with normal grout or with other preparations available on the market.It is advisable to wet the tiles thoroughly before grooving to clean them immediately afterwards with a moist sponge, by paying attention to rinse it often.

Realizzare il sottofondo con caratteristiche uguali a quelli normalmente richieste per la costruzione di pavimentazioni convenzionali sia per spessore che per composizione.

Le caratteristiche del sottofondo andranno valutate in funzione al tipo di terreno e alla sua deformabilità, oltre che per la tipologia dei carichi ai quali si prevede che la pavimentazione sarà sottoposta, in ogni caso dovrà essere:

Ben compattato. Preparare il piano di finitura del sottofondo, realizzandolo con diversi tipi di materiali per riportare il sottofondo alle quote e alle pendenze di progetto. Per strade a traffico particolarmente pesante ed in presenza di terreni non coesivi, è consigliato l’uso di materiali leganti (cls magro unigranulare).

Drenante, caratteristica che deve essere sempre garantita con opportuni accorgimenti. Il piano di finitura deve anche impedire alla sabbia, che costituisce il riporto di posa delle lastre, di essere veicolata nel sottofondo creando così dei vuoti sotto la pavimentazione, a tale proposito: stendere il Geotessuto oppure i tessuti non-tessuti realizzati in materiale inorganico imputrescibile che, posati direttamente sul piano finitura, consentono un perfetto drenaggio, impedendo il passaggio delle particelle più fini di sabbia.

Realise the foundation with the same characteristics like those required for the construction of conventional pavings as well for its thickness as for the composition.

The characteristics of the foundation have to be evaluated with regards to the type of soil and its deformability, besides the type of charges the paving will be submitted. In any case it has to be:

Well thickened. Prepare the plane of the underground finishing, by realizing it using different types of material, in order to bring again the foundation to the height and slope of the project. For streets with particularly heavy traffic and in presence of not cohesive soils, it is advisable to use binding materials (poor single grain concrete).

Draining, a characteristic, which has to be always guarantied with proper devices. The finishing plane hasn’t to allow to the sand, which is the bedding material for the slabs, to go in the foundation and to create in this manner empty spaces under the pavings, therefore: place the geotextile or the nonwoven textile made of inorganic rot-proof material, which permit a perfect drain when they are laid directly on the finishing plane, and do not allow the passing of finest sand particles.

INDICATIONS FOR THE DRY LAYING OF LINE MAXIMA

La bordura laterale ha la funzione di contenimento della pavimentazione, del sottofondo e dello strato di sabbia quando sottoposti a sollecitazioni meccaniche.

Tali bordure vengono realizzate normalmente fissando la lastra terminale con del cls oppure con appositi profili contenitivi in ferro o calcestruzzo il tutto opportunamente fissato.

Nonostante la pavimentazione sia in grado di smaltire le acque superficiali attraverso i giunti tra le lastre, è necessario prevedere delle pendenze (almeno del 2%) esattamente come per le pavimentazioni convenzionali anche se la linea Maxima è progettata con le alette distanziatrici che conferiscono una capacità drenante.

La linea Maxima deve essere posata leggermente più alta (circa 5 mm) rispetto ai pozzetti di scolo.

Il riporto di posa deve essere formato da pietrisco contenente non oltre il 3% in peso di limo, argilla o residui di frantumazione. La granulometria sarà non superiore ai 7 mm e con almeno l’80% contenuto sotto i 4 mm. Lo spessore dello strato di pietrisco, a compattazione avvenuta, deve risultare di 30÷40 mm. Le pendenze non potranno mai essere ricavate variando lo spessore dello strato di sabbia per evitare assestamenti differenziali della pavimentazione che ne comprometterebbero la planarità. Il mancato rispetto dello spessore del riporto di posa può causare rotture della pavimentazione durante il normale utilizzo.

A compattazione della pavimentazione avvenuta, sopra le lastre, va steso uno strato di sabbia fine vagliata, per un primo intasamento dei giunti. Ulteriori stesure di sabbia saranno eseguite a cura dell’utilizzatore e consentiranno una completa chiusura delle fughe che garantiranno il perfetto autobloccaggio fra gli elementi.Lasciare la sabbia sulla pavimentazione per almeno 15 giorni dopo l’ultimazione della posa, per consentire un completo riempimento degli interstizi.

La posa viene effettuata, di norma, manualmente mediante l’accostamento a secco delle lastre sino a compattazione avvenuta; la pavimentazione non deve essere sottoposta ad altri carichi oltre al passaggio del posatore e delle sue attrezzature. La linea Maxima deve essere posata a circa 1 cm sopra la quota di progetto; la successiva compattazione porterà la pavimentazione a livello desiderato. In prossimità dei cordoli perimetrali o di altri manufatti, è necessario tagliare i manufatti con l’apposita taglierina.

Le lastre vanno vibrate utilizzando il costipatore con la lamiera gommata per evitare rigature e/o rotture.

This side border has the function of containment of the paving, of the foundation and of the layer of sand, when they are submitted to mechanical solicitations.

Those borders are normally realized, by fixing the terminal slab with concrete or with suitable containing forms in iron or concrete. Everything has to be completely fixed in an appropriate manner.

Although the paving is able to discharge the water in the surface through the joints between the slabs, it is necessary to foresee slopes (at least 2%) exactly like those for conventional pavings, even if the line Maxima has been designed with spacing wings, which give a draining capacity.

Line Maxima has to be laid slightly higher (approximately 5 mm) than the draining shafts.

The bedding material layer has to formed by crushed stone which contains not more than 3% of weight in slime, clay or crushing residuals. TThe grain size will not be bigger than 7 mm and with at least 80% of the content below 4 mm. The thickness of the crushed stone layer has to be of 30÷40 mm, when it is compact. The slopes can’t never been taken by changing the thickness of the sand layer, in order to avoid differential beddings of the paving, which would compromise its evenness.The missing respect of the thickness of the bedding material layer might cause breakings of the paving during the normal use.

As soon as the compactness happened, a layer of fine riddled sand has to be put on the tiles for a first clogging of the joints. Further layings of sand have to be done by the user and they will permit a complete closure of the joints, which will guarantee a perfect self blocking between the elements.Leave the sand on the paving for at least 15 days after the laying has been finished, in order to permit a complete filling of the interstices.

As a rule the laying is done by hand by approaching the tiles dry till the compactness happened; the paving has not to be submitted to other loads except those of the layers‘ crossing and his equipments. Line Maxima has to be laid approximately 1 cm over the projects‘ height; The following compactness will bring the paving to the desired level. Close to perimetrical curbs or other manufactures it is necessary to cut the manufactures with a suitable trimmer.

The tiles have to be vibrated by using a vibrating compactor with a gummed plate, in order to avoid rulings and/or breakings.

A pavimentazione ultimata effettuare una pulizia di cantiere.

In caso di sporco ostinato utilizzare il MaspeClean come detergente.

In casi particolari consigliamo l’uso della monospazzola per stendere il MaspeClean e rimuovere meccanicamente lo sporco.

La normale pulizia del pavimento va effettuata con acqua e spazzola.L’utilizzo di una comune idropulitrice da 220 V consente di effettuare la pulizia in modo ottimale, senza fatica. Questo si rende di norma necessario in caso di pavimentazione esterna con superficie estesa. Di fronte a qualsiasi tipo di sporco è obbligatorio effettuare come prima azione una pulizia con idropulitrice, che non ha alcuna controindicazione e risulta economica in quanto non servono detergenti.

Nelle foto di seguito riportate è possibile vedere il risultato su un pavimento non pulito per diversi anni.

Con la pavimentazione perfettamente pulita si consiglia di effettuare il trattamento “in opera”.Tale operazione non è necessaria in quanto “i modulari” vengono già forniti pretrattati, tuttavia un ripristino è utile in quanto rinforza il trattamento delle piastre e impermeabilizza allo stesso tempo anche le fughe.Stendere il trattamento MaspeTech utilizzando pennello o rullo oppure nebulizzato sulla superficie (vedi foto) fino a “saturazione” senza creare ristagni di trattamento. Lasciare asciugare per almeno 24 ore.Consigliamo di eseguire il trattamento dopo almeno un anno dalla posa, per consentire al sottofondo del pavimento di asciugarsi completamente.

When the paving has been finished, carry out a cleaning of the yard.

In case of obstinate dirt use MaspeClean as detergent.

In particular cases we suggest the use of a monobrush polishing machine to lay the MaspeClean and to remove mechanically the dirt,

The normal cleaning of the paving has to be done with water and brush.The use of a common high pressure water jet cleaner of 220 V allows to make the cleaning in an optimal manner, without effort. This is customarily necessary in case of exterior paving with an extended surface.Up against any type of dirt it is obligatory to make as a first action a cleaning with a high water jet cleaner, which doesn’t have any counter indication and results inexpensive as no detergents are needed.

It is advisable to carry out the treatment of the paving on the building site on a perfectly cleaned paving. This operation isn’t necessary as “the modulari” are already furnished pre-treated, nethertheless a reinstatement is useful as it makes the treatment of the tiles stronger and it impermeabilizes at the same time even the joints. Lay the treatment MaspeTech by using a paint-brush or a roll (see photo) till the “saturation” without creating stagnations. The paving has to dry for at least 24 hours. We advise to make this treatment at least one year after the laying, in order to permit to the foundation of the paving to be completely dry,

INDICAZIONI E CONSIGLI DI POSA RIVESTIMENTI

Prima della posa controllare la consistenza della superficie da rivestire che deve essere idonea al fissaggio delle pietre (verificare le istruzioni del prodotto utilizzato per l’incollaggio).

PITTURA: la pittura va sempre rimossa con picchettature della parete o con frattoni rabot multi denti. Risciacquare abbondantemente la parete per eliminare la polvere. Applicare un consolidante alla parete e poi procedere con l’incollaggio. Nel caso vi fosse difficoltà nell’eliminare la pittura (es. marmorino), applicarvi una rete sopra come nel procedimento “CAPPOTTO” e poi incollare.

CALCESTRUZZO: pulire dalla parete con l’idropulitrice per togliere tutte le tracce di oli, disarmanti, polveri, terra, sporco od altro. Ad inizio posa inumidire la superficie in base alla stagione ed alla temperatura al momento dell’applicazione.

INTONACO: controllare la superficie che non presenti fenomeni di “sfarinamento”, eventualmente inumidire la superficie e poi applicare la colla.

LATERIZIO: intonacare la parete prima di effettuare la posa.

CAPPOTTO: verificare che il cappotto sia ancorato perfettamente alla parete e che lo stesso sia adatto a sopportare il peso del rivestimento in pietra. Nel caso sia idoneo ad essere rivestito, applicare preventivamente una rete elettrosaldata zincata fissata con alcuni tasselli ad una distanza massima di cm 40 tra loro e rasare la superficie fino alla completa copertura della rete stessa. Ad asciugatura avvenuta procedere con l’incollaggio.Seguire sempre scrupolosamente le indicazioni del fornitore del cappotto.

MURI AMMALORATI: applicare una rete come nel procedimento “CAPPOTTO” fissata con tasselli messi ad una distanza massima di circa cm 30 tra loro.

CARTONGESSO: verificare che la struttura e la lastra siano idonei a sopportare il peso del materiale. In seguito applicare un primer isolante e ad asciugatura avvenuta procedere con l’incollaggio.

È obbligatorio avere tutto il materiale in cantiere al momento della posa per consentire al posatore di miscelare i pezzi prelevando da più pallet/scatole al fine di ottenere un effetto cromatico omogeneo. Il controllo delle tonalità va fatto prima di iniziare la posa. L’azienda non risponde ad eventuali reclami a posa effettuata.

Qualora il materiale venga sporcato con malte o stucchi, pulire subito la pietra con spugna ed acqua. Non trattare la pietra con nessun prodotto chimico né acido.

CONSISTENZA DELLA SUPERFICIE DA RIVESTIRE

Before installation, check the consistency of the surface to cover that must be suitable for the mounting of the stones (see the instructions on the product used for bonding).

PAINTING: The painting has always to be taken off by roughening the wall or by passing an plastering trowel with notches. For taking off the dust, clean the wall once again very much with water. Apply a consolidation and proceed with the sticking. In case that you have difficulty in taking off the painting (for ex. Marmorino) apply on it a net, like in the procedure “INSULATION” and stick later.

CONCRETE: With an high-pressure cleaner take off all traces of oil, form release agents, dusts, soil, dirt or others. At the beginning of the laying, moisten the surface based on the season and the temperature at the moment of the application.

PLASTER: Check that the surface doesn’t show any phenomenon of “crumbling away“, eventually moisten and then apply the adhesive.

BRICK: Plaster the wall before laying.

INSULATION: You have to check that the insulation is perfectly tied to the wall and at the same time it has to be suitable to sustain the weight of the stone wall cladding. In case it is suitable to be covered, a galvanized electro-welded mesh has to be fixed with some dowels with a distance among themselves of maximum 40 cm. Level the surface till the mesh is completely covered. When the work is dried, proceed with the sticking.Always follow scrupulously the indications of the coating supplier.

DETERIORATED WALLS: Apply a mesh as indicated in the system “INSULATION“ and fix it with dowels, with a maximal distance among themselves of approximately 30 cm.

PLASTERBOARD: You have to check that the structure and the tile are suitable to bear the materials‘ weight. Afterwards apply an insulating primer and when it is completely dry you can proceed with the application.

CONSISTENCY OF THE SURFACE,WHICH HAS TO BE COVERED

It’s obligatory to have the complete material in yard at the moment of laying in order to guarantee to the layer the mixing of the modules by picking them up from several pallets/boxes for obtaining a homogeneous chromatic effect. The control of the shades has to be done before starting the laying. The company is not accountable to eventual claims after laying.

In case that the material is dirtied with mortars or plasters, the stones have to be cleaned immediately with a sponge and water. Do not treat the stone with any chemical or acid product.

INDICAZIONI E CONSIGLI DI POSA RIVESTIMENTI

Utilizzare un collante idoneo per materiali lapidei che non macchi le pietre. Consigliamo l’utilizzo di un collante di colore bianco per i rivestimenti più chiari.

I sottofondi che presentano polverosità superficiale, parti sfarinate o deboli devono essere trattate preventivamente con apposito primer.

I prodotti della linea folio sono indicati come rivestimento di pareti interne. Prima della posa posizionare i fogli a secco orizzontalmente per circa 24/48 ore nell’ambiente in cui verranno posati. Per tagliare i fogli può essere utilizzata una forbice oppure una mola da taglio con disco diamantato (leggere le indicazioni sulla sicurezza). La lavorazione di questo prodotto (taglio, foratura e smeragliatura) produce una polvere di silice che può provocare gravi danni ai polmoni, se inalata. Per ovviare a questo problema è preferibile quindi tagliare i fogli con forbice a lama lunga. Nel caso non fosse possibile si consiglia di lavorare all’aperto, in una zona ben ventilata, oppure utilizzare la ventilazione meccanica. È obbligatorio indossare appositi occhiali di protezione e una maschera antipolvere. Utilizzare adesivi acrilici all’acqua per la posa di rivestimenti vinilici pesanti su fondi assorbenti. per ottenere un risultato di posa ottimale è fondamentale rimuovere l’aria tra il foglio e la superficie da rivestire utilizzando un apposito rullo.

Qualora il materiale venga sporcato con malte o stucchi, pulire subito la pietra con spugna ed acqua. Se posato in esterno è possibile eseguire la pulizia periodica con idropulitrice.

NB: The nine sizes are supplied mixed in the packaging. It’s important that the complete material is in the building site at the moment of the laying and to take off the material at the same time from different packages, in order to obtain an optimal mixture.

Use an adhesive suitable for stone materials, which doesn’t stain the stones. We advise the use of a white adhesive for the clearer wall claddings.

The foundations, which present dust on the surface, crumbled or weak parts have to be treated in advance with a specific primer.

The products of line Folio are indicated as coverings of interior walls. Before laying the layers have to be positioned dry horizontally for approximately 24/48 hours in the environment they will be laid. For cutting the layers use a scissor or a grinding machine with diamond grinding wheel (read the security advices). The manufacturing of the product (cutting, drilling and grinding) produces silica dust which can cause grave damages to lungs, in case that they’re inhaled. In order to solve this problem it’s better to cut the layers with a scissor with long blades. In case this is not possible, it is advisable to work out-of-doors, in a well aired area or by using mechanical ventilation. It’s obligatory to wear specific protective glasses and a dust mask. Use acrylic water adhesives for the laying of heavy vinyl coverings on absorbent foundations. For obtaining an optimal laying result it is fundamental to remove the air between the layer and the surface to be covered by using a specific roller.

In case that the material is dirtied with mortars or plasters, the stones have to be cleaned immediately with a sponge and water. If installed outdoors it’s possible to carry out a periodic cleaning with a high pressure cleaner.

Use an adhesive suitable for stone materials, which doesn’t stain the stones. We advise the use of a white adhesive for the clearer wall claddings.

Le fondamenta vengono fatte in maniera tradizionale con scavo, gabbia e calcestruzzo. È importante livellare il getto per velocizzare la posa dei moduli.

A calcestruzzo indurito posare i moduli. Si consiglia di livellare tramite bolla e cunei di legno già dai primi moduli.

In fase di getto si raccomanda un’adeguata costipazione del calcestruzzo e, se dovesse essere sporcata la parte esterna, si raccomanda la pulizia il prima possibile (comunque con acqua e spugna risciacquandola spesso).La superficie a vista deve rimanere perfettamente pulita a getto ultimato.

A getto ultimato disporre il collante flessibile per esterni per l’accoppiamento con le copertine, anche in questo caso lo sporco deve essere pulito immediatamente.

É necessario verificare ed eventualmente scaricaredal sito, la scheda tecnica e le indicazioni di posa aggiornate, dopo l’acquisto del prodotto.Per muri di recizione con altezza superiore a 1,5 mt è necessario eseguire il getto di calcestruzzo in più riprese di massimo 100-120 cm.Si consiglia di posare le copertine con fuga cementizia di 2-3 mm per limitare il più possibile infiltrazioni d’acqua.

The foundations have to be done in a traditional manner with excavation, crate and concrete. It is important to level the casting in order to speed up the laying of the modules.

As soon as the concrete is hard, the modules have to be laid. It is advisable to start with the leveling already from the first modules by using a spirit level and wooden wedges.

During the filling we advise a suitable constipation and in case the exterior side is soiled, we recommend to clean it as soon as possible (in any case by using water and a sponge, which has to be often rinsed).The exposed surface has to remain perfectly cleaned when the pouring has been finished.

As soon as the filling is finished, prepare the flexible adhesive for exteriors for coupling the coverings; also in this case the dirt has to be taken away immediately.

It is necessary to check and eventually download the website, the technical sheet and the up-to-date laying indications, after purchasing the product.For fencing walls with a height of more than 1,5 mt it is necessary to make a casting concrete more than once of maximum 100-120 cm. It is advisable to lay the coverings with a cement joint with a width of 2-3 mm, in order to restrict water infiltrations as much as possible.

Per l’inserimento di cassette, campanelli, ecc. tagliare i moduli tramite flessibile con disco per pietre o marmi, facendo attenzione a mantenere almeno quattro punti di appoggio nei lati del modulo prefabbricato.

Comporre la struttura della recinzione con i fori posizionati nel posto prestabilito.

Tramite tavole di legno, costruire un’intelaiatura atta a sostenere il getto del calcestruzzo prevedendo il passaggio delle tubazioni necessarie.

Si raccomanda di verificare le normative vigenti per il corretto posizionamento delle cassette di servizio. Esempio gas, Enel, ecc.

DISPOSIZIONE CASSETTE GAS, ENEL, POSTALI

Dopo il getto togliere l’intelaiatura e inserire le cassette prefabbricate.

Per eventuali raggruppamenti di cassette, gas, Enel, ecc. o per gruppi particolarmente grandi si consiglia di inserire il prefabbricato in linea alla recinzione nel posto prestabilito in fase di costruzione e prima del getto.

Montare le porte a lavoro ultimato.

Per la creazione di pilastri e fine muro togliere la guarnizione tramite paletta.

For the insertion of boxes, bells etc. cut the modules with a cutting grinder with a wheel for stones or marble and pay attention to keep at least four support points on the sides of the prefabricated module.

The fencing structure has to be composed in the way that the holes are in the pre-arranged point.

By using wooden boards build a formwork, to carry the concrete filling and provide the passage of necessary tubes.

We advise, to control the applicable regulations for the correct positioning of the service-boxes as for example gas, Enel ecc.

Take off the formwork after the filling and insert the prefabricated boxes.

For eventual grouping of boxes, gas, Enel etc. or for especially big groups, we advise to insert the prefabricated piece in line of the fencing on the before predefined place, during the construction and before the filling.

Set the doors, when the work is finished.

For the creation of columns and end walls, take off the sealing with a spatula.

Per la creazione di curve od angoli bisogna prevedere il taglio del pezzo tramite flessibile con disco per taglio pietre e marmi.

Per l’inserimento di fari, griglie, ecc. preparare il foro sul pezzo tramite flessibile con disco per taglio pietra o marmi facendo attenzione a mantenere almeno quattro punti di appoggio nei lati del modulo.

Per l’alimentazione di ausiliari passare la tubazione elettrica prima del getto.

Fissare la scatola.

Fissare la lampada a getto ultimato.

Posizionare l’armatura di richiamo sagomata a distanza di 20 cm.

Nel caso in cui le fondazioni devono essere ancora eseguite, la ditta Maspe consiglia un raggio predefinito di 924 mm o di 1950 mm per i moduli 40 x 60 in quanto bastatagliare i moduli all’interno mantenendo inalterata la dimensione della piastra esterna.

Per gli angoli a 90° si consiglia l’inserimento dell’armatura di richiamo a distanza di 20 cm come illustrato.

MaspeNet è uno sgrassante che dissolve efficacemente lo sporco grasso, anche quello ostinato, da qualunque tipo di superficie.

UTILIZZO: pavimenti Maspe - Ceramica - Metalli - Plastica.Indicato per rimuovere macchie di olio minerale (delle auto) o lo sporco lasciato dalle gomme dell’auto.

MODALITÀ D’USO: diluire il prodotto secondo necessità: da un rapporto di 1:10, per un’azione generalizzata, a puro se usato direttamente sulla macchia.

Se usato su pavimento trattato con MaspeTech non serve ritrattare la pavimentazione.

APPLICAZIONE: distribuire il prodotto sulla superficie da trattare con mezzi appropriati. Lasciare agire per almeno 10-15 minuti e risciacquare abbondantemente.

The dirt on exterior surfaces can be of different origin and its consistency is determined by the infiltration time of the stains. This type of detergent cannot eliminate completely all the stains. USE: The detergent MaspeClean can be used on new surfaces and also on already laid surfaces. Furthermore it can be used for obstinate dirt or watered down with a ratio 1:1 for the normal maintenance. CONSUMPTION: 1 litre is sufficient for 8 sq m (16 sq m if watered down 1:1) – 5 litres are sufficient for 40 sq m (80 sq m if watered down 1:1). MaspeNet is a degreaser, which dissolves in an efficient manner the grease dirt, even the persistent one, from any surface type.

Prodotto efficace soprattutto se utilizzato come primo trattamento impregnante per terrazze e pavimenti per esterni. Consigliato anche per superfici in calcestruzzo come scale e muretti di recinzione.

È un impregnante su base acqua già pronto per l’uso professionale e per il fai da te.

Forma uno strato protettivo profondo e resistente e l’effetto rimane invariato nonostante l’uso intenso e prolungato nel tempo.

Protegge le superfici dallo sporco e la maggior parte delle macchie può essere eliminata prima che abbia il tempo di penetrare, pulendola nei primi minuti senza lasciare traccia.

È il trattamento ideale da effettuarsi a seguito di un’operazione di pulizia, meglio se dopo l’utilizzo del detergente MaspeClean.

È innocuo per la salute.Lo sporco delle superfici esterne può essere di origine (tipologia) e consistenza (dipende dal tempo di infiltrazione delle macchie) diverse e può presentarsi anche su pavimentazioni già trattate. Tenete comunque in considerazione che nemmeno questo impregnante specifico può proteggere completamente dalle macchie che abbiano avuto il tempo di infiltrarsi nella superficie.CONSUMO: 1 litro sufficiente per 7/9 mq - 3 litri sufficienti per 21/27 mq. The product is effective especially if it is used as first treatment to impregnate terraces and exterior pavings. It is also recommended for surfaces in concrete like stairs and fencing walls.

It is on water basis ready for professional use and for do-it-yourself.

It creates a deep and resistant protecting coat and although an intensive and prolonged use, its effect remains without any variation.

It protects the surfaces from dirt and most part of the stains can be eliminated before it has enough time to penetrate, by cleaning it in the first minutes without leaving traces.

It’s the ideal treatment to be done after a cleaning operation, better after the use of MaspeClean detergent.

It is innocuous for health. The dirt on the exterior surfaces can be of different origin (typology) and different consistence (it depends on the infiltration time of the stains) and can appear even on already treated pavings. In any case take into consideration that neither this specific detergent can protect completely against stains, which had enough time to penetrate in the surface. CONSUMPTION: 1 litre is sufficient for 7/9 sq m. - 3 litres are sufficient for 21/27 sq m. DURATION: the duration of the treatment depends on the wear and tear and the weather. We advise to carry out periodically a recall of the treatment. This operation has always to be done after a spring-clean and when the paving is dry. IMPORTANT: It is fundamental to follow carefully the instructions indicated on the label.

MaspeSol is a mixture of organic solvents, studied expressly for the Maspe pavings and it is able to take off in an efficient manner the obstinate dirt from the surfaces, which are sensible to acids and to alkali, including the polished and smoothed surfaces.

UTILISATION: Maspe pavings - marbles and natural granite, smoothed and polished - Cotto. Mainly suitable for taking off oil stains with vegetable or animal origin, food, citronella, leaves, halos of gasoline or gas-oil. It is a powerful product to remove wax.

WAY TO USE: dilution: it is ready for the use.

APPLICATION: apply the product directly on the stain, wait the necessary time in order that the product acts (from half an hour to two hours), then pass with suitable means and dry.

In case that it is used on a treated paving together with MaspeTech it is necessary to make another treatment of the paving.

Advices: Please ventilate the room during the use of the product, avoiding to work next to free flames.

Efflorescenze: non costituiscono difetto perché non alterano le caratteristiche tecniche del prodotto.L’azienda consiglia una installazione del pavimento con colla al fine di interporre tra il massetto e la piastra una barriera alla risalita dei sali che potrebbero alimentare il fenomeno naturale della efflorescenza. È obbligatorio a fine cantiere effettuare la pulizia di fondo della pavimentazione posata come indicato nella sezione “pulizia di fine cantiere” a pag. 153.Consigliamo inoltre di realizzare una fuga cementizia di modo da sigillare gli interstizi tra una piastra e l‘altra ed impedire all‘acqua di ristagnare tra il massetto e le piastre. Questo per evitare distacchi in caso di gelo e contrastare il fenomeno dell‘efflorescenza.

Evitare di cospargere sale sui pavimenti esterni o su terrazze per sciogliere neve o ghiaccio poiché il sale è corrosivo e danneggia la struttura delle piastre.

Nel caso il materiale venga posato non si risponde ad eventuali reclami.

Nel caso di posa di diversi tipi di piastre, si raccomanda di utilizzare una colla a spessore, per correggere le eventuali lievi differenze che possono esserci, in modo tale da livellare le marmette tra loro.

Per tutti gli articoli Tavelle, Mixxa, Pietre Laviche, Maxi Modux, Pietra Naturale Caravaggio e Bernini la vendita viene effettuata al mq tenendo conto anche della fuga. Bisogna considerare che per le Tavelle e il Maxi Modux, date le loro caratteristiche modulari, la fuga è stata calcolata da 6 mm; per il Mixxa, essendo già posizionato su rete preincollata, la fuga predisposta è di 3 mm mentre per le Pietre Laviche, Pietra Naturale Caravaggio e Bernini è di 2 cm.

INDICATIONSBefore starting with the laying operations it is duty to make the download of the current technical data sheets and laying advices from the website www.maspe.com. In case of disputes the data sheet of the purchase date is valid.

Blooming: this is not a defect, because it does not alter the technical characteristics of the product. The company advises the installation of the paving with adhesive in order to put between the cement foundation and the tile a barrier against the ascent of the salts, which could be reason for the natural phenomenon of blooming. It is obligatory to clean up thoroughly the laid paving after finishing the work, as indicated in the section “cleaning at the end of work” on page 153. We also recommend to realize a cement joint in order to seal the interstices between the tiles and to prevent the water stagnation between the cement foundation and the tiles. This is to avoid detachments in case of freeze and to contrast the efflorescence phenomenon.

It is forbidden to spread salt on outside pavings or on terraces to dissolve snow or ice, since salt is corrosive and damages the structure of the tiles.

In case that the material is laid the manufacturer cannot be held responsible for possible complaints.

In case different types of tiles are laid, we advise the use of a thickness adhesive, to level eventual height differences of the various types of tiles.

For all items Tavelle, Mixxa, Lava Stones, Maxi Modux, Natural Stones Caravaggio and Bernini the sold square meters take into consideration also the joint. For Tavelle and Maxi Modux, due to their modular characteristics, the joint has been calculated of 6 mm; for Mixxa, already sticked on a net, the prepared joint is 3 mm while for the Lava Stones, Natural Stones Caravaggio and Bernini it is of 2 cm.
