Escursione in gommone all’Isola delle Correnti Mezza giornata 09:30-12:30 Partenza dal pontile Il Paguro, dove lo staff della Sikelia Sail vi dà il benvenuto e la possibilità di scegliere l’attrezzatura da snorkeling. Prima tappa Grotte dei Sospiri che attraversiamo con il gommone per ammirarne le bellezze naturali e successivamente fare una sosta per un bagno tra le acque cristalline; oltrepassiamo Punta delle Formi- che e raggiungiamo l’Isola delle Correnti dove ci aspetta un incante- vole relitto a circa 3 mt di profondità, da ammirare con maschera e pinne. Salpiamo alla volta di Portopalo di Capo Passero dove ci con- cederemo un breve rinfresco a base di frutta fresca e un tuffo nelle limpide acque sotto il suggestivo Castello Tafuri e l’Antica Tonna- ra. Dopo quest’ultimo bagno si rientra al porto di Marzamemi e arrive- derci a bordo con la Sikelia Sail. Escursione Dei Due Mari a bordo della “Calypso” con pranzo a bordo Mezza giornata 09:30-12:45 Lo staff della Sikelia Sail vi dà il benvenuto a bordo della Calypso, splendida imbarcazione in legno di 22 mt dotata di tutti i comfort. Facciamo rotta verso le acque caraibiche di San Lorenzo; dopo una breve sosta per il bagno, salpiamo alla volta dell’Isola di Capo Passero per un tuffo nell’azzurro mare di fronte l’Antica Tonnara e il suggestivo Castel- lo Tafuri. Durante l’escursione il personale di bordo vi offrirà un rinfre- sco. Rientriamo al porto concludendo l’escursione di ½ giornata. Intera giornata 09:30-18:00 Proseguiamo alla volta dell’Isola delle Correnti dove avviene l’incontro tra il Mediterraneo e lo Ionio. Ancorati nelle acque cristalline della baia, vi offriremo un pranzo a base di pesce e dopo qualche momento di relax avrete la possibilità di utilizzare maschera e pinne per vedere un fantasti- co relitto proprio sotto costa. Rientro al porto di Marzamemi e arrivederci a bordo con la Sikelia Sail. Excursion of the Two Seas on board the “Calypso” with lunch aboard Half-day excursion 09:30-12:45 The Sikelia Sail staff welcomes you on board the Calypso, a wonderful wooden boat, 64feet long, equipped with all comforts. We sail for the Caribbean-like waters in San Lorenzo bay. After a short stopover to swim in the sea, we head for the Isola di Capo Passero where we will dive in the blue sea in front of the Antica Tonnara and the enchanting Castello Tafuri. During the excursion, the ship crew will be glad to offer you refreshments. Then we sail back towards the harbour and finish the half-day excursion. The full-day excursion (09:30-18:00) continues towards the Isola delle Cor- renti where the Mediterranean and the Ionian seas eventually meet. Anchored in the crystal-clear water of the bay, we will offer you some fish-dishes for lunch and some moment for relaxing. You will also have the chance to use the underwater mask and the flippers to see an amazing wreck right close to the shore. In the end, we sail back towards Marzamemi harbour and say goodbye aboard with the Sikelia Sail. Excursion to the “Roman Columns” on board the “Gemini”, the boat with a submarine view Two daily runs at 10 a.m. and at 5 p.m.; at 9.30 p.m. by booking only. The excursion lasts about 3 hours. The Sikelia Sail staff welcomes you on board. During the excur- sion, thanks to the glass keel, we will discover the marine flora and fauna. We go to the underwater archeological find of the “Roman Col- umns”. They are supposed to be the remains of a Greek or Roman shipwreck. Then we anchor in a beautiful sand seabed to have a swim in the sea and refreshments will be served. After we sail back to the harbour, we visit Marzamemi and a small artisanal fishing industry (manufacturing botargo, tuna, ancho- vies, etc.). Excursion to the Isola delle Correnti Half-day 09:30-12:30 Departure from the Il Paguro jetty where the Sikelia Sail staff wel- comes you and will give you a snorkeling kit. First stop at the Grotte dei Sospiri which we sail across with our rubber dinghy; we explore and admire these beautiful and natural caves and then we anchor to take a swim in the clear water. Suc- cessively we go by Punta delle Formiche and reach the Isola delle Correnti, where we can use the undewater mask and the flippers to see an amazing wreck at about 6 ft depth. We sail toward Portopalo di Capo Passero where we will have some fruit-refreshments and dive in the waters below the enchanting Castello Tafuri and the Antica Tonnara. Afetr this last dip in the water, we sail back to the Marzamemi harbour and say goodbye aboard with the Sikelia Sail. Durata intera escursione 3 ore circa. Lo staff della Sikelia Sail vi dà il benvenuto a bordo. Durante l’escursione scopriremo la flora e la fauna sottomarine tra- mite la speciale chiglia in vetro. Ci dirigiamo verso il sito archeologico subacqueo delle “Colonne Romane”, resti del naufragio di una nave greca; subito dopo ci anco- riamo su uno splendido fondale sabbioso per un bagno e consumare un piccolo rinfresco; ritornati al porto, continuiamo l’escursione all’interno di Marzamemi, dove andremo a visitare anche un labora- torio artigianale di prodotti ittici (bottarga di tonno, alici, ecc.). Prima tappa Grotte dei Sospiri che attraversiamo con il gommone per
