«Conoscere le regole per creare una cucina senza regole». È la filosofia di

Luigi Taglienti, tra i top chef di Taste of Milano 2016,

negli spazi del The Mall di Porta Nuova

dal 19 al 22 maggio. L’idea è «unire antico e moderno, sviluppando una cucina in grado di

evolversi e rivoluzionarsi». Una sorta di

avanguardismo culinario che per lo chef ligure

– allievo di Enzo Santin e Carlo Cracco, alla guida

del ristorante Lume di prossima apertura

a Milano – equivale a «personalizzare ogni

piatto con sapori inediti. Rielaboro creativamente

e con istinto i menù della tradizione, come il

raviolo di faraona alla cacciatora che abbino a

gamberi di fiume in salsa americana».

Una continua mescolanza che gioca ad accostare

ingredienti oppostima equilibrati.

"Know the rules to create a cuisine without rules."

This is the philosophy of Luigi Taglienti, among

the top chefs of Taste of Milano 2016, at The Mall of Porta Nuova

from May 19 to 22. The idea is "uniting the old

and the modern, developing a cuisine able to evolve and revolutionise itself." A sort of culinary avant-gardism that for the Italian

chef – student of Enzo Santin and Carlo Cracco, in charge of the restaurant Lume, opening soon in Milan –

is equivalent to "customising each dish with unusual flavours. Using my creativity and instinct

I recreate traditional tastes, such as the hunter-style guinea-fowl ravioli that I accompany with crayfish

in American sauce." A continuous mix that plays with opposite but balanced ingredients.

Among the latest creations a dish that combines the freshness of maracujà with the flavour of

Per provare a saperne di più l’appuntamento è all’11esima edizione del Festival delle Scienze,

all’Auditorium Parco della Musica di Roma dal 20 al 22 maggio. L’obiettivo è sottolineare l’importanza

storica del concetto e le sue connessioni con psicologia, sociologia e filosofia. Sguardi puntati al futuro, quindi, per

chiedersi se, dopo aver catturato le onde gravitazionali, si riusciranno a individuare le particelle della materia oscura.

La domenica, negli spazi progettati dall’archistar Renzo Piano, occhi rivolti idealmente verso il cielo in occasione

dell’incontro organizzato dall’Agenzia spaziale italiana. La domanda nasce spontanea: la prossima frontiera

da esplorare?

Everything is relative, an affirmation of absolute value anticipated a century ago by a visionary and prophetic

Albert Einstein. For common mortals, relativity is an often incomprehensible concept, and yet a fascinating

one, due to the huge amount of questions that it attracts almost magnetically.

An occasion to learn more is the 11th edition of the Science Festival, at the Auditorium Parco della Musica in Rome, from May 20 to 22. The goal is to emphasise

the historical importance of the concept and its connections with psychology, sociology and philosophy. A gaze directed to the future, to ask whether, after having

captured gravitational waves, we will be able to identify the particles of dark matter.

On Sunday, in the spaces designed by star architect Renzo Piano, eyes will be ideally turned skyward in occasion

of the meeting organised by the Italian Space Agency. A natural question arises: which is this the next frontier?

arrives for the interview with a backpack and the desire to share a long journey from the outskirts of Rome

that brought him to the Syrian border, with cities separated by barbed wire and bombs whistling on your head. He returned in that place twice along to understand the current events. "I found a patient but never subdued people, which for 40 years has been conducting a slow struggle for freedom." Back in Italy Michele Rech – thast's the real name of the author – has created Kobane Calling, more than 200 pages of strips in which he tells with humour and lightness the complex story of the Kurdistan city. Since 2011, Syrian Kurds have proclaimed the autonomy of a strip of land – the Rojava – governed by an innovative political project: a democratic confederalism based on ethnic and religious

Rientrato in Italia Michele Rech – questo il vero nome dell'autore – ha realizzato Kobane Calling, oltre 200

pagine in cui racconta con ironia e leggerezza le complesse vicende della città del Kurdistan.

Dal 2011 i curdi siriani hanno proclamato l’autonomia di una

striscia di terra – il Rojava – nel nome di un progetto politico innovativo:

un confederalismo democratico basato su convivenza etnica e religiosa, emancipazione femminile e ridistribuzione delle ricchezze. Questi cittadini resistono all’Isis,

a costo di vittime e sofferenze. «Prima di partire avevo paura di trovare una situazione di terrore. Invece nella quotidianità della popolazione non

c’è violenza». Una testimonianza contrapposta all’informazione occidentale il più delle volte

interessata solo agli aspetti bellici: «Dai nostri media sappiamo i movimenti dell’Isis ma nulla di chi vive quei territori». Poco considerato anche l’impegno

comune a costruire un nuovo modo di vivere: «Non è un'utopia, ma un work in progress. Se perdono loro perdiamo tutti, sono l’unica speranza di pace rimasta

in Medio Oriente».

Race for the cure torna al Circo Massimo di Roma dal 13 al 15 maggio. La ormai popolarissima
