    P AAlong the ASSE CENTRALE

    the Corte donore1welcomesyou with water and music shows

    of the Fontana del Cervo.

    The spectacular view from the Sala

    di Diana shows the symmetrical

    forms and colours of the Giardinoa Fiori2, continuing out into theGardens and far into infinity.

    Down at the Fontana dErcole3, the

    long paths of the Allea Centrale4,that run parallel to the water canal on

    various levels, lead to the foundations of the

    Tempio di Diana5.

    In the PARCO BASSO - located north of the

    Asse Centrale - the Gardens of Venaria revive

    their ancient farming tradition. The heart of this

    system is Cascina Medici del Vascello 10, a farmhousesurrounded by the Potager Royal: the royal gardens withtheir scents of flowers, herbs and vegetables 7and 9, the

    orchard 8and the hazel grove 6.Reach the Patio dei GiardiniCaf and from there walk to the Peschiera11, the Grotte12of the17thCentury wall of the Reggia and the Garden of Fluid Sculptures13:the elegant installations in marble, bronze and water by the master of Arte

    The visit to the PARCO ALTO - based on original 18th

    Century drawings - follows twospectacular paths: the Allea di Terrazza14, perpendicular to the Galleria Grande, and theAllea Reale15, perpendicular to the portal of the Citroniera. The Giardino delle Rose16is afeast for the eyes and the nose, with a gazebo providing shade for a restful break. The Boschettodella musica 17and the Boschetto dei giochi18 offer a plunge into the leisure atmosphere of the18thCentury. The former is home to music shows and performances, the latter houses the Fantacasino ,an enchanted lodge dedicated to fun and games for children. The splendour of the past relives in the vision

    of theGran Parterre19, that leads to the Caff degli Argenti.Umbrellas are available for visitors at the entrance to protect against rain or sunshine.
