Convenzioni terminologiche 1.4.1 Macchina: indica la macchina specificata in 1.6 Dati di identificazione della macchina. Telaio: struttura portante della macchina. Personale qualificato: persone che, per la loro competenza ed esperienza, nonché le conoscenze delle relative norme, prescrizioni di sicurezza e condizioni di servizio, sono in grado di riconoscere ed evitare ogni possibile pericolo per le persone e ogni possibile danno al materiale lavorato e alla macchina. Le descrizioni di direzione, senso e posizione (destra della macchina, sinistra della macchina) si riferiscono alla posizione dell'operatore di fronte alla macchina.

Dichiarazione CE di conformità 1.7

Nell'Allegato A1 Dichiarazione di conformità CE è riportata una riproduzione della dichiarazione CE di conformità della macchina.

Garanzia 1.8 NEOLTFACTORY garantisce la macchina per un periodo di 1 anno. Sono escluse dalla garanzia le parti soggette a normale usura o consumo. La garanzia è limitata alla sostituzione o riparazione dei pezzi per accertato difetto del materiale. L'esame dei difetti e delle cause viene eseguito presso NEOLTFACTORY La garanzia viene annullata in caso di macchina utilizzata per usi non previsti, in caso di utilizzo negligente o eccessivo, in caso di utilizzo di parti di ricambio non originali e in caso di mancata osservanza delle indicazioni di questo manuale. In nessun caso l'acquirente può pretendere la risoluzione del contratto, un risarcimento danni o la proroga della garanzia. Il termine "Acquirente di origine" si riferisce alla persona che ha inizialmente acquistato il prodotto coperto da questa garanzia per scopi diversi dalla rivendita. Per qualsiasi operazione di trasporto, installazione, utilizzo, manutenzione e demolizione consultare il corrispondente capitolo.

Questo manuale e la documentazione allegata devono essere conservati per tutta la vita tecnica della macchina in modo da essere facilmente reperibili in caso di necessità.

In caso di vendita della macchina usata, questa dovrà essere venduta completa del presente manuale e della documentazione allegata.

Descrizione della macchina 1.11

Usi previsti 1.11.1 La macchina va utilizzata esclusivamente per la piegatura dei supporti consentiti (carta da 60 a 110 gr./mq.), massimo Cross Fold consentito A0. Poiché la macchina è costituita da gruppi fisicamente distinti ed autonomi, l’uso proprio di macchina si identifica nel funzionamento anche di una sola parte. Modalità di utilizzo previste

L'installazione e la manutenzione straordinaria della macchina devono essere effettuate da personale qualificato. La macchina è stata realizzata per essere utilizzata in un ambiente con le seguenti caratteristiche: Protezione dagli agenti atmosferici. Illuminazione adeguata. Intervallo di temperatura ammesso: da 18°C a 35°C. Intervallo di umidità relativa ammesso: dal 30 % al 80 %. Alimentazione elettrica con le seguenti caratteristiche:

- Tensione monofase: 230V (110V) - Frequenza: 50Hz (60Hz) - Corrente assorbita max 0,7A (1,2A)

Usi non previsti 1.11.2 Sono usi non previsti tutti gli usi non esplicitamente indicati in 1.11.1 Usi previsti, in particolare: Qualsiasi impiego diverso da quello da cui la macchina è stata costruita rappresenta

una condizione anomala e può recare danno alla struttura della macchina. Il suo impiego senza le protezioni e salvaguardie in dotazione alla macchina: in

particolare senza i carter fissi che impediscono l’accesso agli equipaggiamenti interni. Il mancato rispetto delle procedure riportate in questo manuale con particolare

riferimento a quelle di manutenzione e riparazione. L’impiego della macchina in ambiente a rischio d’incendio e di esplosione in quanto

essa non è equipaggiata con componenti di tipo antideflagrante. Utilizzo in atmosfera esplosiva. Utilizzo in atmosfera infiammabile.

Criteri di sicurezza 2.1 Nella progettazione e nella costruzione di questa macchina sono stati adottati i criteri e gli accorgimenti adatti a soddisfare i requisiti essenziali di sicurezza previsti dalle norme citate in seguito,e successive modifiche ed integrazioni e alle rispettive disposizioni legislative nazionali di recepimento: (vedere Allegato A Dichiarazione di conformità CE).

L'accurata analisi dei rischi svolta dal fabbricante ha consentito di eliminare la maggior parte dei rischi connessi alle condizioni di uso della macchina, sia previste che ragionevolmente prevedibili. La documentazione completa delle misure adottate ai fini della sicurezza è contenuta nel fascicolo tecnico della macchina, depositato presso il fabbricante. Il fabbricante raccomanda di attenersi scrupolosamente alle istruzioni, procedure e raccomandazioni contenute in questo manuale ed alla vigente legislazione sulla sicurezza nell'ambiente di lavoro, anche per l'utilizzo dei dispositivi di protezione previsti, sia integrati nella macchina che individuali.

NEOLTFACTORY non si assume alcuna responsabilità per eventuali danni a persone, animali domestici o cose derivanti dal mancato rispetto delle norme di sicurezza e delle raccomandazioni contenute nella documentazione fornita.

La manomissione delle protezioni e dei dispositivi di sicurezza causa rischi per gli utilizzatori della macchina e per altre persone esposte.

NEOLTFACTORY declina ogni responsabilità in casi di eventuali danni a persone, animali domestici o cose, causati dalla manomissione delle protezioni.

Ripari 2.3.1 La macchina è dotata di vari tipi di protezione. Protezioni fisse: Lamiera di chiusura anteriore. Lamiera di chiusura posteriore. Protezioni mobile interbloccate: Carter sinistro e destro. Carter elettronica.

Dispositivi di sicurezza attivi 920/S 2.3.2

La macchina è dotata di un pulsante di arresto Stop/Emergenza sopra la tastiera, sul carter sinistro (fig. 2.4).

Protezioni fisse come la lamiera di chiusura anteriore a protezione delle schede elettroniche. Lamiera di chiusura posteriore a protezione degli organi di piegatura del foglio. Carter sinistro a protezione del cablaggio di alimentazione della macchina. Carter destro a protezione del sistema di ingranaggi di movimentazione.

Circuito di messa a terra di tutte le parti elettriche, elettroniche e metalliche della macchina.

Microswitch di protezione apertura del gruppo rulli inserimento foglio (fig. 2.1).

Sensori di rilevamento introduzione del supporto e per il Cross Fold (fig. 2.2).

Due Sensori ottici di presenza carta tra le lame di piegatura (fig. 2.3).

Interruttore di alimentazione principale ("0” off / ”1” on) è situato sul retro della spalla sinistra (fig. 2.4).

La macchina è dotata di un pulsante di arresto Stop/Emergenza sopra la tastiera, sul carter sinistro (fig. 2.8).

Zone pericolose rischi residui 2.4 E' zona pericolosa qualsiasi zona in prossimità della macchina nella quale una persona è esposta a rischio di lesioni o danni alla salute. Durante alcune procedure di intervento sulla macchina, di volta in volta segnalate in questo manuale, esistono dei rischi residui per l'operatore. I rischi residui possono essere eliminati seguendo attentamente le procedure indicate in questo manuale e adottando i dispositivi di protezione individuale indicati. Come esempio: Posizionare il cavo di alimentazione in modo che non sia calpestato o rovinato. Non mettere il cavo di alimentazione dove può essere danneggiato. Operazioni di manutenzione e servizio devono essere effettuate solo dal servizio

tecnico autorizzato dal produttore. Fare attenzione alle etichette di pericolo sulla piegafogli.

NEOLTFACTORY non si assume alcuna responsabilità per eventuali danni a persone, animali domestici o cose derivanti dal mancato rispetto delle precauzioni prescritte o dal mancato utilizzo dei DPI prescritti.

Rumore 2.5 Dati sul rumore aereo prodotto da una macchina identica a quella indicata in questo manuale, misurati secondo le indicazioni della "Direttiva Macchine" (89/392/CEE e successive modifiche). Livello medio di pressione acustica continuo equivalente ponderato A, intorno alla macchina alla distanza di un metro: Durante la fase di regime: inferiore a 60 db(A) con picco da 65 db. Informazione sui pericoli da rumore 2.5.1 I livelli di emissione del rumore aereo indicati non implicano necessariamente livelli di esposizione sicuri per il lavoratore. I livelli di esposizione del lavoratore sono ovviamente correlati ai livelli di emissione della macchina, tuttavia anche altri fattori influenzano i livelli di esposizione del lavoratore: durata dell'esposizione, caratteristiche dell'ambiente e presenza di altre macchine. I livelli di emissione della macchina permettono comunque all'utilizzatore di effettuare una stima dei pericoli dovuti al rumore aereo.

Un uso continuativo della macchina e dei macchinari prevedibilmente presenti nell'ambiente di installazione potrebbe causare un'elevata esposizione quotidiana personale al rumore.

Se l'esposizione quotidiana personale può essere pari o superiore a 85 dB(A) è consigliabile utilizzare DPI (cuffia protettiva, tappi protettivi, ...).

Se l'esposizione quotidiana personale può essere pari o superiore a 90 dB(A) è obbligatorio utilizzare DPI (cuffia protettiva, tappi protettivi, ...).

Per informazioni su altre misure di protezione da adottare, in Italia riferirsi al Decreto Legislativo N. 277, del 15.08.91.

La tastiera è composta da tasti di comando e programmazione aventi diversa forma e colore per facilitarne l'uso. Per usare i tasti operativi, accendere la macchina e seguire la sequenza sottostante.

Qualifica dell’operatore 5.1 Le operazioni di trasporto, installazione e allacciamento della macchina devono essere effettuate da personale qualificato, trasportatori e elettricisti.

Trasporto 5.2

Condizione di trasporto 5.2.1

La taglierina viene spedita con un imballo caratterizzato da lastre in polistirolo 1 a

protezione dei componenti, e una scatola di cartone 2 che racchiude il tutto. Fig. 5.1 Condizioni di trasporto. Le dimensioni dell’imballo e il suo peso complessivo (imballo più taglierina) risultano essere i seguenti

Le operazioni di sollevamento, trasporto e movimentazione della macchina o di sue parti devono essere eseguite esclusivamente da personale competente ed adeguatamente addestrato allo scopo.

È assolutamente vietato passare o sostare sotto carichi sospesi.

I mezzi utilizzati per il sollevamento, il trasporto e la movimentazione della macchina devono essere adeguati al peso ed alla conformazione degli elementi da sollevare, trasportare e movimentare e devono essere conformi alle disposizioni legislative ad essi applicabili e vigenti nel luogo di utilizzo.

Proteggere la macchina da agenti atmosferici esterni, vedi il paragrafo Caratteristiche della zona di collocazione 5.4.1.

Verifica dei danni arrecati durante il trasporto 5.2.2 Verificare lo stato della macchina tramite un'ispezione visiva della macchina, eventualmente dopo averla rimossa dalla scatola di trasporto. Eventuali deformazioni delle parti visibili indicano urti subiti dalla macchina durante il trasporto, che potrebbero comprometterne il normale funzionamento. In particolare verificare il buono stato delle seguenti parti: Tasto di emergenza Microinterruttore di sicurezza. Tastiera. Verificare che le viti e i bulloni visibili della macchina siano stretti bene.

Assemblaggio 5.3

Questa operazione è da eseguire da 2 persone minimo.

Aprire la scatola d’imballo 2 che assembla il tutto.

Rimuovere i gusci di polistirolo 1 dalla spalle laterali.

Togliere le due gambe 3 e la traversa 4 del bancale. Montare il bancale come indicato nella Fig. 5.2 Assemblaggio.

Estrarre la macchina e posizionarla sul bancale inserendo i piedini 5 negli appositi fori

del bancale 6 ; avvitare le viti 5a ai piedini 5.

Allineare la macchina orizzontalmente agendo sui piedini regolabili 7 sotto il bancale della macchina.

Posizionare i segmenti del cestello raccogli fogli 8. Collegare, infine, la piegafogli ad una presa provvista di messa a terra e non usare

alcun tipo di adattatore tra la spina della piegafogli e la presa di corrente.

Non sono necessari ulteriori adattamenti di alcun genere in quando la macchina esce dalla fabbrica già collaudata.

Immagazzinamento 5.4 Le indicazioni contenute in questa sezione devono essere rispettate durante i periodi di immagazzinamento temporaneo della macchina che si possono verificare nelle seguenti situazioni: Installazione della macchina non immediatamente successiva alla sua fornitura. Disattivazione della macchina e suo immagazzinamento in attesa di una ricollocazione Per quanto possibile la macchina deve essere immagazzinata in modo da essere inaccessibile a persone non autorizzate, deve essere protetta da possibili danni dovuti a polvere, umidità, calore, freddo, raggi solari o sostanze in grado di corroderla o attaccarla. I locali di immagazzinamento non devono essere situati nelle immediate vicinanze di zone pericolose. Caratteristiche 5.4.1

Intervallo di temperatura ammesso: da 5°C a 35°C temperatura massima per brevi

periodi (non superiori a 24 ore) +70°C

Intervallo di umidità ammesso: dal 30 % al 80% senza condensa . umidità ideale ~55%

con temperatura massima di 40°C.

Illuminazione naturale e/o artificiale adeguata.

Protezione adeguata da agenti atmosferici.

Spazio richiesto sufficiente a effettuare le operazioni di sollevamento e trasporto in

maniera sicuro ed agevole.

Piano di appoggio orizzontale con portata superiore alla massa della macchina.

Spazio richiesto sufficiente a compiere le operazioni di manutenzione ordinaria e di

servizio tecnico.

Collocazione 5.5 Caratteristiche della zona di collocazione 5.5.1 Alimentazioni E' necessario predisporre in prossimità della zona di collocazione della macchina, le alimentazioni descritte in 3.2 Dati di alimentazione. Requisiti di spazio Per il normale utilizzo della macchina, comprese le operazioni di carico e scarico, è necessario disporre di uno spazio direttamente proporzionale alle dimensioni dei supporti da tagliare. Protezione dagli agenti atmosferici La macchina deve essere collocata in un locale coperto e protetto dal contatto diretto con gli agenti atmosferici. Pavimentazione Preparare il piano di appoggio orizzontale su cui collocare la macchina conoscendo la massa della macchina. Prendere in considerazione anche tutte le apparecchiature accessorie.

Le condizioni ottimali di stabilità e di utilizzo si ottengono con un errore massimo di planarità di ± … mm/m. inoltre la macchina deve essere stabilizzata mediante il bloccaggio dei quattro piedini al pavimento in modo che le ruote, per il trasporto, restino leggermente sollevate. Inoltre la pendenza massima del pavimento non deve superare i 10° di inclinazione.

Illuminazione Per svolgere in sicurezza l'utilizzo e la manutenzione della macchina è necessaria una buona illuminazione (indicativamente 200 - 600 lux), secondo norma UNI10380:1994. Caratteristiche ambientali Intervallo di temperatura ammesso: da 18°C a 35°C. Intervallo di umidità relativa ammesso: dal 30% al 80% senza condensa. Umidità

ideale ~55%, con temperatura massima di 40°C. Caratteristiche generali di utilizzo La macchina non deve essere utilizzata in presenza di atmosfere esplosive La macchina non deve essere utilizzata alla presenza d’acidi, agenti corrosivi, sale,

ecc. La macchina non deve essere utilizzata in presenza di radiazioni ionizzanti e non

ionizzanti (raggi X, microonde, raggi ultravioletti).

Allacciamento elettrico 5.5.2

Verificare che la linea di distribuzione elettrica sia dimensionata in funzione della potenza della macchina.

Rischi di natura elettrica. Effettuare il collegamento dell'impianto di messa a terra prima di ogni altro collegamento alla linea di distribuzione elettrica.

Posizionare il cavo di alimentazione in modo che non sia calpestato o rovinato. Non mettere il cavo di alimentazione dove può essere danneggiato. Operazioni di manutenzione e servizio devono essere effettuate solo dal servizio

tecnico autorizzato dal produttore. Sezionare la linea elettrica che porta alimentazione alla macchina. Se il dispositivo di sezionamento è la spina di rete, la relativa presa di corrente deve

essere facilmente accessibile e in prossimità dell’apparecchio. Ridare tensione alla linea elettrica che porta alimentazione alla macchina. L’impianto elettrico di alimentazione alla macchina deve essere dotato di: Protezione contro le sovracorrenti, mediante dispositivi aventi corrente di intervento,

dimensionata tenendo in considerazione il massimo assorbimento della macchina. Un dispositivo d’intervento per i guasti dell’isolamento (differenziale) con dati di targa

dimensionati in modo idoneo per il tipo di macchina. Un circuito di protezione equipotenziale esterno (messa a terra) adeguato e conforme

alle disposizioni legislative vigenti nel luogo d’installazione della macchina. Collaudo 5.5.3 Prima di procedere all'utilizzo ordinario e continuativo della macchina verificare il perfetto funzionamento generale della macchina, eseguendo almeno qualche piega di prova.

Se si sentono delle vibrazioni o strani rumori, spegnere immediatamente la macchina e ricercarne la ragione consultando il capitolo Diagnostica.

Se, invece, viene visualizzato sul display un codice di allarme, consultare questo manuale al capitolo 09 Messaggi di allarme/segnalazione seguendo le procedure indicate per la soluzione.

Qualifica dell’operatore 6.1 L'utilizzo della macchina deve essere effettuato da personale qualificato Posto di lavoro 6.1.1 Posizione del lavoratore: In fase di avviamento e piegatura occupa la posizione frontale con il pannello di comando alla sua sinistra. In caso di manutenzioni occupa la posizione richiesta dall’intervento da effettuare. Accensione della macchina 6.1.2 L’interruttore generale è situato sulla parte posteriore sinistra della piegatrice. Una volta premuto l’interruttore generale la piegafogli è disposta per il formato “Piega libera larghezza 210 mm senza compensazione”. Inserire il foglio da piegare o impostare sulla tastiera il formato desiderato se non coincide con quello predisposto all’avvio della macchina. Inserimento supporto da piegare 6.1.3 Per ottenere la tabella dati del disegno sulla prima piega, bisogna inserire il foglio, con la tabella all’ingresso del piano d’inserimento con la stessa rivolta verso l’alto (anche per il Cross Fold). Per dare inizio al processo, procedere come segue Fig. 6.1 / 6.2.:

Selezionare tramite la tastiera A il formato di piega desiderato (vedere Cap. 4). Per la 920/S, posizionare il foglio sul piano inserimento ed accompagnarlo verso i rulli

di cattura B, facendo attenzione ad allineare il lato sinistro del foglio all’apposita guida

di inserimento C, in modo tale che le fotocellule D leggano la presenza della carta. Questo accorgimento eviterà la possibilità di un effetto a fisarmonica sulla larghezza del foglio stesso

Per la 1250/S, posizionare il foglio sul piano inserimento ed accompagnarlo verso i

rulli di cattura L, facendo attenzione ad allineare il lato sinistro del foglio all’apposita

guida di inserimento I, regolata in precedenza in funzione del formato del foglio da

piegare, seguendo la serigrafia sul piano di lavoro. Le fotocellule H leggono la presenza della carta. Il corretto posizionamento del foglio eviterà la possibilità di un effetto a fisarmonica sulla larghezza del foglio stesso.

Spingere il foglio in avanti fino a che i rulli di cattura prendano il foglio da piegare.

E’ assolutamente sconsigliato appoggiarsi o appoggiare qualsiasi oggetto sul piano di inserimento. Nel caso in cui gioielli o abiti vengano attirati nella macchina premere il tasto di emergenza.

Evitare di inserire i fogli dotati di striscia di sospensione sia di carta che di metallo.

I fogli arrotolati devono essere arrotolati nel senso opposto prima di essere introdotti nella piegatrice e comunque la parte di foglio di inserimento deve essere perfettamente piatta

Il foglio deve essere in “condizioni normali” schematizzate a lato.

E’ consigliato non superare mai la grammatura consigliata. Potrebbe causare inceppamenti e danni alla macchina.

Arresto di emergenza 6.1.6 La macchina può essere fermata dall’operatore, in qualsiasi momento, se questi si accorge di un’eventuale anomalia durante l’esecuzione del lavoro o per motivi di sicurezza. Per eseguire un arresto immediato, premere sul pulsante di emergenza, posto sopra al carter sinistro. Per ripristinare il normale funzionamento della macchina, dopo aver risolto la causa dell’arresto di emergenza, si deve ruotare il pulsante precedentemente premuto, in senso orario o antiorario.

Manutenzione ordinaria 7.1

Rischi di scosse elettriche e movimenti intempestivi durante la manutenzione. Isolare la macchina dalle fonti di alimentazione di energia elettrica togliendo il cavo di alimentazione dalla presa di corrente.

Descrizione test operativi 8.2 Test funzionale piegatrice 8.2.1 Tenere premuto il tasto 10 ed accendere la macchina. Sul display viene visualizzata la versione della EPROM e si accendono i LED

corrispondenti ai tasti 3, 2 e 10. Sono disponibili 17 test: 1 ÷ 8 test sensori e microinterruttori; 9 ÷ 13 test frizioni; 14 test ventilatore; 15 e 16 test motore; 17 e 18 test per il set tempo attivazione lame.

Per accedere ai test alcuni dei tasti assumono significati

particolari:

9 per incrementare il numero del test;

7 per entrare nei test corrispondenti alle frizioni e motore;

10 per attivare una frizione od il motore. Test sensori e microinterruttori (1-8) 8.2.2

premere il tasto 9 fin quando il digit delle unità visualizza il numero del test desiderato;

il digit delle decine visualizza lo stato del sensore;

sul primo digit viene visualizzato 0 o 1 a seconda dello stato del sensore, si può provare la sua funzionalità inserendo e togliendo un foglio di carta davanti al sensore o nel caso del Microswitch magnetico del gruppo ingresso, aprendo e chiudendo il gruppo ingresso stesso.

Premere il tasto 7 per accedere al test vero e proprio. Sul display sarà visualizzato il valore del parametro frizione piega dispari (parametro 12).

Con i tasti 8a e 8b aumentare/diminuire il valore del parametro-tempo d’attivazione della frizione piega dispari.

Premere il tasto 10 per attivare/disattivare il test.

Valori molto elevati del parametro implicano tempi elevati d’attivazione della frizione piega dispari, la lama rimane troppo tempo a contatto con i rulli di piega e può provocare il fermo del

motore. Se il motore si ferma, premere il tasto 10 per disattivare il motore, diminuire il valore del parametro e riprovare di nuovo a fare ripartire il motore. Si raccomandano incrementi del valore del parametro non superiori a 5 step alla volta. Il nuovo valore del

parametro e’ memorizzato ad ogni pressione del tasto 10.

Per uscire dal test set tempo attivazione frizione piega dispari premere il tasto 9.

Allineamento Pieghe 8.3 Neofold 920S / 1250S L’operatore ha la possibilità di regolare l’allineamento delle pieghe, per modificare tale

valore procedere come segue:

Mettere in funzione la macchina premendo il tasto

Il display visualizza il valore corrente per aumentare tale valore premere il tasto

per diminuire il valore premere il tasto .

Ogni pressione equivale ad un incremento o un decremento di 0,17mm.

Impostato il nuovo valore attendere circa 5 secondi e il display visualizzerà OF a questo

punto, il nuovo valore sarà stato memorizzato. Spegnere e riaccendere la macchina.

La piegafogli fornisce all'operatore le informazioni riguardo alle anomalie di funzionamento. Le indicazioni di queste condizioni sono date dalla parola allarme/segnalazioni, insieme a un codice visualizzato sul display. I suddetti allarmi/segnalazioni possono essere divisi in due gruppi di appartenenza. In dettaglio:

Allarmi e segnalazioni 9.1 gli allarmi sono dotati di segnale acustico, LED che lampeggiano ed hanno la caratteristica importante di bloccare il funzionamento della macchina. (è necessario spegnere e riaccendere la stessa)

Qualifica dell’operatore 10.1 La demolizione della macchina deve essere effettuata da personale qualificato.

Disattivazione della macchina 10.2 Una volta raggiunta la fine della vita tecnica ed operativa della macchina, questa deve essere disattivata. La messa fuori servizio è la condizione di non essere più utilizzata per gli scopi per cui a suo tempo era stata progettata e costruita, deve poter comunque rendere possibile il riutilizzo delle materie prime che la costituiscono.

NEOLTFACTORY non assume alcuna responsabilità per danni a persone, animali domestici derivanti dal riutilizzo di singole parti della macchina per funzioni o situazioni differenti da quelle originali.

Procedura 10.2.1 Scollegare l'alimentazione elettrica. Nel caso di movimentazione della macchina, fare riferimento a 5.2 Trasporto.

Conventional terms 1.4.1 Machine: indicates the machine specified in 1.6. Identification data of the machine.

Casing: bearing structure of the machine. Qualified personnel: people, who thanks to their knowledge and experience, as well as the knowledge of the relevant norms, safety requirements and service norms, are able to recognise and avoid any possible danger for the people, the material and the machine. The descriptions of direction, sense and position (on the right of the machine, on the left of the machine) refer to the position of the operator in front of the machine.

Annex A CE conformity certification includes a copy of the CE conformity certification of the machine.

Warranty 1.8 NEOLTFACTORY offers a one year warranty on the machine. The parts subject to normal wear and tear are not included in the warranty. The warranty is limited to the substitution or repair of the parts that should result damaged or defected. The assessment of the defects and causes is carried out by NEOLTFACTORY The warranty is cancelled if the machine is used incorrectly, or in an improper or excessive way, if any non-original spare parts are used and for non-compliance with the norms of this manual. In no case can the purchaser demand the resolution of the contract, claim for damages or the extension of the warranty. The term "Original purchaser" refers to the person who had initially purchased the product covered by this warranty for purposes other that for retail sales. This warranty is applicable and valid only for the original purchaser and only for the period (during the warranty period) in which the original purchaser has the equipment.

NEOLTFACTORY cannot be held responsible for any negative advertisement, or loss of earnings, due to technical or mechanical malfunctioning of the product in use or in display.

Use of the manual 1.10 Carefully read the chapters General information, Safety information, Characteristics of the machine and Operator interface.

For any transportation, installation, use and maintenance and demolition operation please refer to the relevant chapter.

This manual and the attached documentation (Attachment A EC conformity declaration), must be kept for the entire technical life of the machine in order to have them at hand when needed.

If the machine is sold as second-hand, this manual and the enclosed documentation must be supplied along with the product.

Description of the machine 1.11

Correct use of the machine 1.11.1 The machine must be used only to fold the media which it has been designed for. (paper for 60 to 110 gr./mq.), Max. Cross Fold - A0 The machine is made of physically independent and autonomous groups; therefore the proper use of the machine also refers to the correct functioning of only one part of it. The installation and the maintenance of the machine must be carried out by qualified personnel only. The machine was designed to be used in an area with the following characteristics: Protection from atmospheric agents Proper illumination Temperatures between 18°C and 35°C. Incorrect use of the machine 1.11.2 Any use other than that indicated in part 1.11.1 Correct use of the machine is to be considered incorrect, especially Using the machine in ways that differ from those which it has been designed for,

represents an anomalous condition and could therefore damage the structure of the machine.

Using the machine without its protections and without the safety equipment it is provided with: especially without the fixed protections that prevent access to the internal devices.

Safety criteria 2.1 Criteria and features aimed at meeting the essential safety and security requirements envisaged by the regulations set out below, together with subsequent amendments, supplements and related legal regulations included in national legislation, have been adopted in the design and construction of this machine:

(see Attachment A CE conformity certification).

Thanks to the accurate analysis carried out by the manufacturer, most of the risks depending on the conditions of use of the machine, both foreseeable and reasonably foreseeable, have been eliminated. The complete documentation including all the safety norms adopted are in the technical booklet of the machine, which is deposited at the manufacturer's premises. The manufacturer recommends strict compliance with the instructions, procedures and recommendations of this manual and with the laws in force on the safety in the work place. This also refers to the use of the protection devices foreseen, both those integrated in the machine and personal.

Dangerous areas and residual risks 2.4 All the areas around the machine in which people are at risk of injuries or health problems are considered dangerous.

During certain intervention procedures on the machine, which are pointed out each time in this manual, residual risks for the operator may arise. Residual risks can be avoided by carefully complying with the procedures of this manual and using the personal protection devices indicated, such as:

Carefully positioning the power cord so that it cannot be stepped on or ruined. Not putting the power cord where it can easily be damaged. Maintenance and service operations must be carried out only by the technical service

authorised by the manufacturer. Paying attention to the danger notices on the folding machine.

NEOLTFACTORY shall not be held responsible for any damage to persons, pets or objects deriving from non-compliance with the precautions envisaged or failure to use the prescribed individual protective devices (see Section 2.1.).

Noise 2.5 Figures on noises produced by a machine identical to the one described in this manual, measured according to the "Machine Directives " (98/37/CE and following modifications). The level of equivalent weighted A continuous acoustic pressure, emitted by the machine is lower than 70dB (A). Measurements were taken in front of the machine (normal operator position), at a distance of 1 meter from the machine, with the machine moving and empty, a 0 mm rubber roller distance, a 4 m/min roller speed and the rewinding roll holder motor rotating. The recording of acoustic emission has been performed in accordance with ISO 11202:1995 standard. Level of equivalent continuous acoustic pressure with machine in operation is

lower than 60 dB(A) Level of peak 65 dB(A). Information on noise hazards 2.5.1 The levels of acoustic emission indicated are not necessarily safe for the workers. The levels of exposure of the worker are obviously linked to the emission levels of the machine, however other factors affect the levels of exposure of the workers: duration of the exposure, characteristics of the area and the presence of other machines. The levels of emission of the machine, however, allow the users to assess the danger related to acoustic emissions.

A continuous use of the machine and of other machinery present in the area of installation could lead to a high level of personal daily exposure to noise.

When daily personal exposure is equal to or higher than 85 dB(A) the use of IPE is recommended (protective caps, protective ear plugs, ...).

When daily personal exposure is equal to or higher than 90 dB(A) the use of IPE is obligatory (protective caps, protective ear plugs, ...).

For information on other protective measures to be adopted, in Italy refer to UNI EN458,1995, and EN457 standards.

Qualifications of the operator 5.1 The transportation, installation and connecting operations of the machine must be carried out by qualified personnel only, transports and electricians.

Operations involving the lifting, transportation and handling of the machine and its parts must be performed exclusively by competent and appropriately trained personnel.

It is absolutely forbidden to move or wait under hanging loads.

Methods used for the lifting, transportation and handling of the machine must be appropriate for the weight and shape of the parts to be lifted, transported and handled and must comply with the applicable legal regulations in force at the place of use.

Protect the machine from external atmospheric agents. See Section 5.4.1. "Characteristics".

Assessment of damages during transportation 5.2.2 Check the conditions of the machine by visually inspecting it, after having removed it from the shipping box. Any defects on the visible parts of the machine indicate crashes during transportation, which could also affect the normal operation of the machine. Especially assess the conditions of these parts: Emergency button Safety micro switch. Keyboard. Make sure that visible machine screws and nuts are tight.

Assembly 5.3

This operation must be carried out by minimum two people.

Open the packaging box 2 which contains all parts.

Remove the polystyrene shells 1 from the side shoulders of the machine.

Take off the two legs 3 and the crossbar 4 of the table. Assemble the table as shown in Picture 5.2 Assembly.

Take out the machine and place it on the stand by inserting the little feet 5 in the

proper stand holes; tighten the screws 5b to the little feet 5.

Position the machine horizontally by moving the adjustable feet 7 under the table of the machine.

Position the segments of the l paper-collecting basket 8. Then connect the folding-machine to a socket with ground, and do not use any kind of

adapter between the plug of the machine and the power socket.

No other adjustments are necessary because the machine is factory tested before shipment.

Storage 5.4 The indications contained in this section must be followed during the periods of temporary storage of the machine which could take place in the following situations: When the machine is not installed immediately after it is delivered. When the machine is disconnected and stored while waiting for it to be relocated. As far as it is possible to do so, the machine must be stored in such a way that it is inaccessible to non-authorized personnel; it must be protected from possible damage due to dust, humidity, heat, cold, sunrays or chemicals that could corrode or attack it. Storage rooms must not be situated in the immediate vicinity of dangerous areas. Characteristics 5.4.1

Interval of temperature allowed: from -5°C to +55°C.

Placing of the machine 5.5 Characteristics of the area the machine is placed in 5.5.1 Power supply The area where the machine is installed must be equipped with the power supply connections described in 3.2 Power supply data. Space requirements For the normal use of the machine and the loading and unloading operations, it is important to have an area directly proportional to the size of the media to laminate, or of the panels for assembly operations, see Section 3.1.1 "Work Space". Protection from atmospherics The machine must be placed in a suitably protected room, away from atmospherics.

Floor requirements Prepare the stable horizontal surface of the machine keeping in mind the mass of the machine itself. Also take into account all extra accessories.

Optimum stability and use conditions are achieved with a maximum levelness error of ± … mm/m. The machine must also be stabilized via the blocking of the four feet to the floor so that the transportation wheels are slightly raised. Also the maximum slope of the floor must not exceed a 10° slant. Lighting In the interests of the safe use and maintenance of the machine, it is necessary to have good lighting (approximately 200 - 600 lux ) according to UNI10380:1994 standard. Atmospheric characteristics of the area Allowed Temperature: from 18°C to 35°C Allowed humidity: from 30 % to 80 %.without condensate. Ideal humidity ~55%, with

max temperature 40°C. General operating features Do not use the machine in explosive atmospheres. Do not use the machine near acids, corrosive substances, salt, etc. Do not use the machine near ionizing and non ionizing radiations (X-rays,

microwaves, ultra-violet rays).

Electric connection 5.5.2

Check that the electric line is able to carry the power of the machine.

Electric hazards. Before making any connections to the mains make sure the system has been grounded.

Select a mains to supply the machine. Connect fed cable to socket with proper characteristics and placed near the machine. Switch on the voltage powering the machine.

Section the electric line that supplies the machine. If the sectioning device is the electric plug, the relative outlet must be easily accessible

and near the machine. Return voltage to the electric line that supplies the machine. The electric system supplying the machine must be equipped with: Protection against overcurrents, via devices that have operating current, dimensioned

by considering maximum machine absorption. An operating device for isolation (differential) failures, with rating suitably dimensioned

for the machine type. An appropriate external equipotential protection circuit (grounding) that complies with

current legal regulations in the place where the machine is installed. Testing 5.5.3 Before using the machine continuously check the general functioning of the machine by doing some sample folding.

If there are any vibrations or unusual noise, immediately turn off the machine and seek for the problem consulting the chapter Diagnostic.

If on the other hand, an alarm code appears on the display, consult chapter 09 Alarm messages /signals of this manual and follow the procedures indicated.

Qualifications of the operator 6.1 The machine must be used by qualified personnel only Place of work 6.1.1 Position of the operator: during the start up and folding operations in front of the machine with the control panel on his left; during maintenance operations the position depends on the specific operation to be carried out. Feeding of the sheet to fold 6.1.3 In order to get the data table of the drawing on the fist fold, the sheet must be fed face down and with the table at the entrance of the feeding surface (also for cross fold). Follow the steps below to begin the process, Picture, Fig. 6.1 / 6.2.:

Select the size of the folding desired on the keyboard A (see Chap. 4). For the 920/S, Position the paper on the feeding surface and push it towards the

rollers B, the left edge of the paper must be aligned with the proper feeding guide C,

so that the photocell D detects the paper. This step will avoid any rippling effect on the width of the paper itself.

For the1250/S, Position the paper on the feeding surface and push it towards the

Characteristics of the paper to be folded 6.1.5

Avoid feeding sheets with both paper and metal hanging strips.

Rolled materials must be rolled-up in the opposite direction before being fed in the machine and the part which is fed into the machine must be perfectly flat.

The sheet must be in "normal conditions" as shown here.

We recommend never to exceed the weight suggested. It could cause jamming or damages to the machine.

Emergency stop 6.1.6 The machine can be stopped by the operator, in any moment, if he realizes there is a problem during operation or for safety reasons. To perform an emergency stop, when the operator is not by the keyboard, press one of the two emergency buttons on the side panels. To restore the ordinary operation of the machine, after fixing the problem that caused the emergency stop of the machine, rotate the button pressed previously, clockwise or counter-clockwise. After switching the machine back on, perform the initialization procedure by pressing the upper main roller up button up to the end of stroke.

Ordinary maintenance 7.1

Risk of electric shocks and untimely movements during maintenance. Isolate the machine from mains by unplugging the power cord.

Operating test description 8.2 Folding-machine functional test 8.2.1

Keep key 10 pressed and switch on the machine.

The display shows the version of EPROM and the LEDs corresponding to keys 3,

2 and 10 lighten. 17 tests are available: test 1 ÷ 8 sensors and micro switches; test 9 ÷ 13 clutches; test 14 fan; test 15 and 16 motor; test 17 and 18 blade activation time setting.

To use the tests certain keys have special functions:

9 to increase the number of the;

7 to use the clutch and motor tests;

10 to activate a clutch or the motor. Sensor and micros switch test (1-8) 8.2.2

press key 9 until the digit of units shows the number of the test chosen; the digit of the tens shows the state of the sensor;

the first digit is either 0 or 1 according to the state of the sensor, its functionality can be tested by feeding a sheet of paper in or out in front of the sensor or in the case of the magnetic micros witch of the entrance group, opening and closing the entrance group itself.

increases. If key 10 is pressed the motor is turned off.

When key 10 is pressed again the engine restarts.

Press key 9 until number 17 appears on the display (odd folding).

Press key 7 to start the real test. The number of the parameter of the odd folding clutch will appear (parameter 12).

Keys 8a and 8b increase/decrease the activation time-parameter for the odd folding clutch.

Press key 10 to enable/disable the test.

If the parameter value is high the time needed for the activation of the odd folding clutch is very high, the blade rests on the rollers for too long and could therefore stop the motor. If the motor stops,

press key 10 to deactivate the motor, decrease the parameter value and try to start the motor again. We recommend to increase the parameter value no more than 5 steps at a time. The new

parameter value is memorised each time key 10 is pressed

Lining up the folds 8.3 Neofold 920S / 1250S The operator can adjust the alignment of the folds. Follow this procedure to change this

value:

Start up the machine by pressing the following key

The display will show the current value, to increase this value press this key

To decrease the value press this key .

Every time the key is pressed the value increase or decreases by 0,17mm.

After the new value has been set, wait about 5 seconds and the display will show OF at

this point, the new value has been memorized. Switch the machine off and then back on.

The folding-machine gives the operator all the information regarding problems of the running of the machine. The indications in this case are given by the word alarm/signals, and a code appears on the display. These alarms/signals can be divided into two groups. Specifically:

Alarm and Signals 9.1 The alarms are provided with a buzzer and a flashing LED which have the important task of blocking the machine. (it is necessary to switch the machine off and then back on)

The sheet was fed incorrectly and the folding was interrupted by pressing the Eject Key.

Press the paper feed out button to release the paper.

After the paper has been completely ejected, the configuration the machine had before the alarm rang is restored.

A1 The entrance group is open.

Close the entrance group. Switch off and then back on.

A2 The sheet has not been properly inserted.

The machine does not carry out the requested folding cycle. Please disconnect the alarm by pressing the eject paper key.

A3 During the folding cycle the sheet has moved.

Press the Eject Key and the configuration the machine had before the alarm rang will be restored.

Qualifications of the operator 10.1 The machine can be demolished by qualified personnel only.

Deactivation of the machine 10.2 Once the machine has reached the end of its technical and operating life, it must be deactivated. The machine must be deactivated and put in the condition of not being used for the purposes which it had originally been designed for. However, it must allow the reutilization of the raw materials which it was built with.

NEOLTFACTORY cannot be held responsible for damages to people or animals due to the reutilization of single parts of the machine for purposes or in situations different from those which it has been designed for.

Procedures 10.2.1 Disconnect the power supply. In case the machine has to be moved, refer to 5.2 Transportation.

The machine is made of non-biodegradable materials. It must therefore be brought to an authorised centre for its disposal.

If for any reason you decide to put the laminating machine out of service, please comply with the main regulations for the protection of the environment. Aluminum, Iron, Plastic, generic electrical material and electronic cards must be disassembled and disposed of separately by qualified personnel
