• Il dispositivo elettronico che equipaggiail tuo fucile è un conta colpi capace ditrasmettere ad una Speciale APP sul tuoSmart Phone l’informazione che è statosparatouncolpodaltuofucileel’informa-zionedelnumerototaledicolpisparatidaltuofucile.

• Ildispositivoèingradodicapirecheèsta-tosparatouncolpoedi registrarlosenzabisognodibatterie,usandounatecnologiabrevettata.Quandoilfucilesparauncolpounapiccolamassainternaaldispositivoabordoarmasimette inmotoegeneraunsegnale elettrico, che è sufficiente ad unmicroprocessoreperconteggiareilcolpo.Quando si maneggia il fucile è possibilepercepire il rumore lievedellamassachesimuove.

• La trasmissionedelle informazionidaldi-spositivoabordoarmaalloSmartPhoneèavvienetramitetecnologiaBlueToothLowEnergy.

• Per effettuare il trasferimento dei dati, ildispositivonecessitadiunabatteriaposi-zionataalsuointerno.

• Senzalabatteriailcontacolpicontinuaafunzionare immagazzinando il numero dicolpisparati.

• Sullacocciadeltuofucileèbenvisibileunpulsante.Ognivoltachepremi ilpulsanteunledblusiillumina.

• Ilpulsantehatrefunzioni.

aTTenzIone: Prima di premere il pulsante verifica che l’arma sia scarica, quindi senza cartucce nel serbatoio, nella scatola di culatta e nella camera di car-tuccia. Ispeziona l’arma guardando attra-verso la finestra di espulsione, la finestra di alimentazione e la camera di cartuccia.

1. Connettere il tuo fucile alla App sul tuo

SmartPhone.Laconnessioneè richiestasololaprimavolta.

2. Visualizzare sulla App il numero totale dicolpisparatielaversionedelFirmwaredeldispositivoabordoarma.

3. AggiornareilconteggiodeicolpisullaApp.

aVVerTenza:Osserva il Led Blue, oltre ad indicare che si è premuto il pul-sante, l’intensità della luce è un’indicazio-ne sullo stato della batteria; se la luce è flebile o non si vede, è consigliabile sosti-tuire la batteria.

aVVerTenza: Utilizza il pulsante soltanto per le operazioni indicate; la con-tinua pressione del pulsante con conse-guente illuminazione del Led potrebbe far scaricare la batteria più velocemente.

• Il corretto funzionamento del dispositivoa bordo arma è garantito per un utilizzoall’internodiuncampoditemperaturachevada-20a+60°C.

aTTenzIone: Prima di installare o sostituire GunPod2 verifica che l’arma sia scarica, quindi senza cartucce nel serba-toio, nella scatola di culatta e nella came-ra di cartuccia. Ispeziona l’arma guardan-do attraverso la finestra di espulsione, la finestra di alimentazione e la camera di cartuccia.

aVVerTenza:richiedi l’assistenza di personale qualificato per la riparazio-ne di GunPod2. Non alterare mai nessuna parte del dispositivo ed utilizza solo parti di ricambio originali.

• Posiziona il nuovo dispositivo GunPod2nella medesima posizione dello scatolinodiplasticaprecedentementerimossoefis-saloalcalcioconleappositeviti.

• Posiziona la nuova coccia in dotazione efissalaconlaclip(senecessarioutilizzaunmartelloinplastica).

SoSTITuzIone della baTTerIa

aTTenzIone:Prima di sostituire la batteria di GunPod2 verifica che l’arma sia scarica, quindi senza cartucce nel serba-toio, nella scatola di culatta e nella came-ra di cartuccia. Ispeziona l’arma guardan-do attraverso la finestra di espulsione, la finestra di alimentazione e la camera di cartuccia.

aTTenzIone: Le batterie, se non usate correttamente, sono potenzialmen-te pericolose. Fai riferimento alle modalità indicate dal produttore delle batterie per conservarle, maneggiarle e smaltirle. Per lo smaltimento osserva le regolamenta-zioni locali.

aTTenzIone:Tieni le batterie fuori

dalla portata dei bambini. In caso di inge-stione accidentale della batteria cerca im-mediatamente assistenza medica.

aTTenzIone: Non utilizzare bat-terie che presentano perdite, hanno un aspetto scolorito, arrugginito o defor-mato, emanano odore o presentano altre anomalie.

aTTenzIone:assicurati di inserire la nuova batteria correttamente, rispet-tando il posizionamento dei poli positivo (+) e negativo (-) di ciascuna batteria. Uti-lizza solo batterie delle dimensioni e del tipo specificato. Non attenersi a queste prescrizioni può causare perdita di liquido corrosivo o esplosione della batteria.

Device installed on the firearm

General InformaTIon

• The electronic device your shotgun isequipped with is a shot counter that cansend,toadedicatedAPPinstalledonyoursmartphone, data indicating that a shothas just been fired and how many shotshavebeenfiredbyyourshotgun.

• The device can understand that a roundhasbeenshotandcan register itwithoutusingbatteries,thankstoapatentedtech-nology.Whenyourshotgun firesa round,a small buffer inside the device mountedontheshotgunmoves,thusgeneratinganelectrical signal used by a microproces-sortocounttheshot.Whilehandlingyourshotgun,youcanperceivetheslightnoiseofthemovingbuffer.

• Data transmission from the device to thesmartphone isperformedviaLowEnergyBlueTooth.

• Totransferdata,thedeviceneedsaninter-nalbattery.

• Without thebattery, theshotcountercanstillfunction,anditstoresthecountofthefiredshots.

• Thereisavisiblepushbuttononyourshot-gun’spistolgripcap.Everytimeyoupushthebutton,ablueledturnson.

• Thepushbuttonhasthreefunctions.

cauTIon: Not only does the blue led say that the push button has been pressed, it also indicates what’s the bat-tery level through light intensity. If the light is too weak or even invisible, replace the battery.

cauTIon:Use the button for the de-scribed operations only; pushing the but-ton and turning the led on too often may discharge the battery more quickly.

deVIce InSTallaTIon and replacemenT on The fIrearm

WarnInG: Before installing or re-placing the GunPod2, make sure the fire-arm is unloaded, with empty chamber, re-ceiver and magazine. Inspect the firearm by looking through the ejection port, the loading gate and the chamber.

cauTIon: request the assistance of qualified personnel to repair your Gun-Pod2. Do not carry out repairs on the Gun-Pod2 without adequate knowledge and experience. Never alter any part of the de-vice, and use only original Beretta spare parts.

InstallorreplaceGunPod2if:• YourshotgunissetupforGunPodsinstal-

lationandyouwishtoinstallit.• Your shotgun is equipped with GunPod

andyouwanttopasstoGunPod2.• YourGunPod2 isdamagedandyouwant

toreplaceit.

Ifyourshotgunhasawoodenstock:• Removetheplasticgripcapatthebottom

ofthestockbyslidingtheclipout,usingaflatscrewdriver(Fig.3).

plastic case to remove it from the stock(Fig.4).

• PlacethenewGunPod2inthesameposi-tionasthepreviouslyremovedcase,thenfasten it to thestockusing thededicatedscrews.

• Place the new plastic grip cap providedandfastenitusingtheclip(aplasticham-mercanbeusedifnecessary).

replacInG The baTTerY

WarnInG: Before replacing the Gun-Pod2 battery, make sure the firearm is un-loaded, with empty chamber, receiver and magazine. Inspect the firearm by looking through the ejection port, the loading gate and the chamber.

WarnInG: Batteries may be become dangerous when not used correctly. refer to the instructions provided by the manu-facturer of the batteries to learn how to store, handle and dispose of them. Com-ply with local laws for their disposal.

WarnInG:Keep batteries away from children. In the event of accidental inges-tion of a battery, immediately request medical support.

WarnInG: Do not use leaking bat-

teries or batteries that look faded, rusted or deformed, releasing smell or having other anomalies.

WarnInG: Make sure the new bat-tery is inserted correctly, matching the positive (+) and negative (-) poles of every battery. Use the specified type and size of batteries only. Failure to comply with these instructions may cause corrosive leaks or battery blast.

Ifyourshotgunhasawoodenstock:• Removetheplasticgripcapatthebottom

ofthestockbyslidingtheclipout,usingaflatscrewdriver(Fig.3).

• Unscrewthetwoscrewsonthetwoendsto remove thedevice fromthestock (Fig.4).

• Unscrewthetwoscrewsonthecasetore-movethecoverofthedevice(Fig.5).

• Replacethebatterywithanon-recharge-able CR1620 same type new one, payingattentiontoitspolarity(Fig.6).

• Reinstallthecoverfasteningittothestockusing thededicatedscrews, tighten themso that the gasket is pressed enough tomakethedevicewaterproof.

• Reinstall thepolymergripcapand fastenitusingtheclip (aplastichammercanbeusedifnecessary).

Ifyourshotgunhasapolymerstock:• Remove the stock-grip assembly as indi-

catedintheshotgun’sinstructionmanual.• Using a pin, remove the two rubber tips

fromthecapatbottomofthegrip(Fig.7).

• Unscrew the two screws (which will beonlyvisibleoncetherubbertipshavebeenremoved) and, using a flat screw driver,removethegripcappryingfromtheback(Fig.8and9).

• Replacethebatterywithanon-recharge-able CR1620 same type new one, payingattentionto itspolarity (slidingthedeviceoutofitshousingisrecommendedtohaveeasieraccesstothebattery)(Fig.6).

• Placethedeviceintoitshousing.• Reinstall the grip cap fastening it to the

grip using the dedicated screws, tightenthemsothatthegasketispressedenoughtomakethedevicewaterproof.

• Reinstallthetworubbertipsandreassem-blethestockasindicatedintheshotgun’sinstructionmanual.

The app will guide through a wizard proce-dure where you will be prompted to acceptthetermsoftheserviceuponinstallation.Theappwillallowyou toconnectyourshotgunstoyoursmartphone.

Using the smartphone’s GPS functionalityand the device installed on the firearm, themobileapprecordstherouteyouwalkedandwhereandwhenyoufiredeachshot.

With the GunPod2 mobile app you can addinformationtoeachfiredshot,likewhichonehitaprey,whatkindofpreywas it,picturesandvideosofmemorablemoments,personalnotes,whatkindofammunitionwasusedandwhatkindofhuntingsituationswasit.

Oncethehuntingsession isover,everythingremains stored in your personal hunting di-ary, containing information on every activitycarriedout.

Furthermore, the GunPod2 mobile app al-lows you to save your hunting records on adedicated web page (gunpod.intellitronika.com) or to share it through social networkslikeTwitterandFacebook.

Touching the upper right icon in the “Activi-ties”areaoftheGunPod2mobileapp,whosesymbol is a cloud, your hunting records willbesynchronizedwiththefollowingwebpage:gunpod.intellitronika.com

You can access the web page using thesame login information you use for the app,andthereyouwillfindthesamerecordsyousavedintheapp.

Activitiescanbeaccessedandmodifiedfromthe web page (you can add notes, matchpreysandcomments,addorremovepicturesandvideosthatareinthegalleryorintheal-bum,etc..).

Once modified, the data are updated in theapp as well, when synchronization is per-formedagain.

Synchronizationallowstobackupalltheac-tivities.

In addition, you can choose to share yourhuntingrecordsthroughTwitterorFacebook,bytouchingthededicatedicons.

You can decide to share your records withBerettatoo.
