Questa volta insieme al legno abbiamo utilizzato nuovi materiali, resistenti

e all’avanguardia: è nata così la nuova collezione di Foppapedretti Atelier.

Mobili da giardino dal design razionale e innovativo, all’insegna della funzionalità

e della comodità, nel pieno rispetto della fi losofi a che da oltre 50 anni

contraddistingue il marchio Foppapedretti.

Con il legno siamo andati oltre il legno: il comfort è garantito dall’EVA, materiale

altamente innovativo per i mobili da giardino, per sedute morbide anche senza

cuscini e imbottiture; la resistenza è data dal Laminam, inattaccabile dagli agenti

esterni, e dallo Staron, per mobili che possono vivere all’esterno senza particolare

manutenzione e che durano nel tempo.

Non manca il calore e la resistenza del legno, con inserti di frassino.

Non sempre le belle idee ci vengono solo di legno…

la collezione il Giardino Segreto si pone come elementi d’arredo

dal profi lo alto per una committenza esigente e ricercata.

technical, creative, design and production specifi cations for the collection.

Thanks to the skilled use of advanced materials the Giardino Segreto

collection is the ideal furnishing for the most demanding and refi ned clients.

MATERIALI

STARON EVASOLTIS 92

Staron è un materiale composito prodotto da polveri fi nissime, formato da 2/3 di idrossido di alluminio e 1/3 di resina acrilica. È un materiale solido e resistente. È inoltre piacevole al tatto per la sua setosità. Staron è resistente alla luce diretta del sole e il suo colore si mantiene immutato nel tempo. Dura nel tempo e resiste alle normali sollecitazioni. È resistente al calore ma, se a diretto contatto, solo per pochi istanti. Staron è un materiale inodore e insapore, adatto al contatto con gli alimenti in quanto biologicamente neutro. La sua superfi cie compatta non è porosa: batteri e sporcizia non possono in alcun modo infi ltrarsi. Ciò le conferisce doti di assoluta igiene e sicurezza.

L’ EVA è un materiale plastico ottenuto da co-polimerizzazione di etilene con acetato di vinile.Il suo stampaggio con espandente lo rende morbido, leggero e fl essibile. La sua struttura molecolare a cellula chiusa ne garantisce l’atossicità.È antibatterico, antifungo e antiodore. Rispetta la natura in quanto in fase di smaltimento non rilascia sostanze nocive per l’ambiente.Il suo colore è inalterabile nel tempo.

Il SOLTIS 92 è una tela in fi bra di poliestere ad alta tenacità ricoperta pvc.È un prodotto ignifugo (classe M1).Grazie alla micro-aerazione regola l’effetto termico del sole (rifl essione: 13% – assorbimento: 84% – solo il 3% attraversa il telo). La luce solare invece oltrepassa il telo rendendo l’ambiente comunque luminoso.Colori resistenti ai raggi UV. Il materiale è recuperabile e facilmente smaltibile negli appositi impianti.

LAMINAM FRASSINOINOX

Laminam è un materiale composto al 100% di materiali naturali (argille ed altri) ed è colorato con pigmenti inorganici. In una parola è defi nito come una porcellana laminata.È un materiale completamente eco-compatibile e riciclabile al 100% poiché facilmente macinabile e recuperabile in altri processi produttivi. Assicura un’igiene perfetta e una resistenza totale ai prodotti chimici usati normalmente in cucina (solventi organici e inorganici, disinfettanti e detergenti).Idoneo al contatto con cibi poiché ottenuto dalle materie prime usate nella fabbricazione di stoviglie in porcellana. Non consente l’insorgenza di muffe, batteri e funghi. Laminam resiste alle alte temperature e agli agenti corrosivi. Pentole calde e pirofi le appena uscite dal forno possono venire appoggiate direttamente sui piani.È un materiale leggero ma resistente e inscalfi bile. Resiste ai graffi e all’abrasione profonda. Le sue proprietà rimangono pertanto inalterate anche dopo un uso intensivo e una pulizia frequente. Laminam resiste inoltre ai raggi UV.I colori non subiscono alcuna variazione nel tempo. Resiste al gelo e si adatta a tutte le condizioni atmosferiche e climatiche.

Le principali caratteristiche del legno di frassino sono la tonalità molto chiara e la sua durevolezza. È un legno fl essibile, resistente, leggero e stabile nel tempo.Con un’appropriata verniciatura Foppapedretti ne garantisce un’ottima resistenza agli agenti atmosferici e unitamente ad una periodica manutenzione, le sue caratteristiche risultano durevoli nel tempo. Tuttavia per conservare l’aspetto e la qualità, si consiglia di tenere gli arredi al riparo dal contatto diretto con gli agenti atmosferici.

Come tutti gli acciai, l’acciaio inox ha caratteristiche meccaniche e fi siche di notevole importanza. È solido, duro ed indeformabile; resistente nel tempo e quindi indistruttibile.L’acciaio inox inoltre è, per la sua natura chimica un materiale altamente resistente alla corrosione, all’umidità e all’aggressione dei vari agenti presenti nell’aria. Sia in ambiente industriale tipico delle città, con i vari gas sprigionati nell’atmosfera, che in un ambiente marino, con notevoli rischi di corrosione salina, oppure in vicinanze di piscine, con aria satura di cloro, l’acciaio inox ha un comportamento ottimale per resistere nel tempo contro tali agenti.Ciò non basta; anche tra i vari acciai inox, per la loro natura chimica, vi sono quelli più resistenti e quelli meno. Per la collezione “Il giardino segreto” Foppapedretti ha scelto il massimo, il migliore acciaio disponibile per avere ogni garanzia di indistruttibilità. La fi nitura è satinata.

MATERIALS

STARON EVASOLTIS 92

Staron is a composite material manufactured from very fi ne powders, made up of two thirds aluminium hydroxide and one third acrylic resin. It is a solid and strong material. It is also pleasant to the touch for is silky feel. Staron is resistant to direct sunlight and its colour is stable over time. It is long lasting and resistant to normal wear and tear. It is heat resistant although only for a few instants if in direct contact. Staron is odourless and tasteless, suitable for contact with food as it is biologically inert. Its compact surface is not porous: resistant to dirt and bacteria. This makes it hygienic and safe.

EVA is a plastic material produced through a copolymerisation of ethylene with vinyl acetate. The expanded moulding makes it soft, light and fl exible. Its closed cell molecular structure guarantees its atoxicity. It is antibacterial, antifungal and anti-odour. It is eco-friendly in that it does not release harmful substances during disposal. Its colour is stable over time.

SOLTIS 92 is an extremely strong P.V.C. coated polyester fabric. It is fl ame resistant (class M1). Thanks to micro-aeration it regulates the thermal effect of the sun (refl ected: 13% - absorbed: 84% - only 3% passes through the fabric). Sunlight passes through the fabric leaving spaces full of light. Colours are resistant to UV rays. The material is recyclable and can be easily disposed of in the appropriate facilities..

LAMINAM ASHSTAINLESS STEEL

Laminam is made up of 100% natural materials (clays and similar) and is coloured with inorganic pigments. In short it is defi ned as a laminated porcelain. It is environmentally friendly and 100% recyclable since it is easily ground and re-used in other production processes. It guarantees perfect hygiene and total resistance to the chemicals normally used in kitchens (organic and inorganic solvents, disinfectants and detergents). It is suitable for contact with food since it is made from the same raw materials as porcelain tableware. It does not allow the growth of moulds bacteria and fungi. Laminam is resistant to high temperatures and corrosive agents. Hot pans and oven proof dishes straight out of the oven can be placed directly on the surfaces. It is a light and strong material. It is scratch and abrasion resistant. Consequently its properties remain unchanged even after intensive use and frequent cleaning. Laminam is also resistant to UV rays. Colours do not fade over time. It is frost resistant and is suitable for all atmospheric and climatic conditions.

The principal characteristics of ash wood are its very light shade and its durability. It is a fl exible, strong, light and long lasting wood. Through the correct application of varnish Foppapedretti guarantees an excellent resistance to atmospheric agents and in conjunction with periodic maintenance, its characteristics are long lasting. Notwithstanding, in order to preserve its look and quality, it is recommended that the furniture should be stored away from direct contact with atmospheric agents.

Like all steels, stainless steel has signifi cant mechanical and physical properties. It is solid, hard and non-deformable; resistant over time and virtually indestructible. Moreover stainless steel is, by its nature, highly resistant to corrosion, humidity and the aggression of various agents present in the air. Stainless steel has excellent characteristics which enable it to resist over time agents present in the air in industrial environments typical of the city or in marine environments with the signifi cant risk of saline corrosion or in the vicinity of swimming pools with chlorine saturated air. This is not enough; among the different types of stainless steel there are types that, by their chemical nature, are more or less resistant. For Giardino Segreto collection Foppapedretti has chosen the best, the highest quality steel available so as to have the best guarantee of durability. The steel has a satin fi nish.
