erFlowDesigner is a versatile tool to depict the visualization of your process flows. It documents accurately all the fabrication steps within the fabrication process. FlowDesigner saves time and avoids trivial errors in the mask and process flow design. The depicted process steps can be exported as an animation, an html report, or as successive images per step.

The BPM method supplies forward-only propagation for a large set of optical components. The algorithm is typically used for simulating optical telecom devices such as AWGs and Modulators, as well for sensingapplications, like Mach-Zehnder interferometers.FDTD is most suitable for small structures, which it can analyze in high detail. Complete spectra can be launched and evaluated. State of the art applications of the algorithm are Photonic Crystals and Ring Resonators. FAST enables the mixing of different simulation algorithms within one design. Field transitions are taken care of automatically to ensure optimal usability. Using FAST, optimizing the simulation time becomes trivial.

MaskEngineer is the parametric chip and mask lay-out tool dedicated to integrated optics.
The basic concept of parametric mask layout is that structures are described using variables, or parameters. These variables can be either the properties of the element itself, or the relationship between the elements. Changing the parameters will change the properties of the elements. This way of describing a lay-out allows better control over complex designs.Describing relationships in a mathematical way reduces design time considerably. Re-use of designs becomes feasible. During the prototype stage variations in the design can be made simply within the software. MaskEngineer is essential in "tolerance focussed" design strategies.
