PresentazioneIl Consorzio Turistico del Levante è una società consortile a responsabilità limitata con sede a San Nicola di Pie-tragalla C/o Austin centre. Nato nel 2011 con l’obiettivo di favorire le potenzialità turistiche della Basilicata, in particolare delle aree interne, associa prevalentemente le imprese turistiche ed agrituristiche della Basilicata.La Basilicata è terra di grandi contrasti, dove la cultura e la storia dell’umanità è da sempre straordinariamente legata all’ambiente. Terra di forti radici dove le tradizioni e i riti ancestrali fanno spesso da padrone.

The Tourist Consortium of Levant set up in 2011 with the aim to support and promote tourist areas of Basilicata, particularly the inner areas, it joins tourist and farm holidays structures of the Region.Basilicata is a land of contrast where culture and humanity history are connected with the environment from time imme-morial. Montecaruso è una montagna che è parte integrante dell’appennino Lucano dove da secoli, si coltiva una pregiatissima patata di montagna. da quest’anno è stata ripresa l’antica tradizione del mercatino della patata che si svolge la terza e la quarta domenica di settembre in una piccola contrada, Frusci, a pochi km dal prestigioso castello federiciano di Lagopesole. Montecaruso is a mountain of Lucan Apennine. Its lands are suitable to grow a very valuable potato of mountain. From this year on the old tradition of “potato market” has been taken again. It takes place during the 3rd and 4th Sundays of September in Frusci, a little district near the famous Federician Castle of Lagopesole.
