In semplice coppia per individuare un portale o un pas-saggio, o in serie ripetuta per il ritmico alternarsi sulle pareti diuna galleria, sono occasioni irripetibili per costruire architettureanche complesse sulle quali adagiare architravi, frontoni o archi.

the basic elements of the architectonics and proved useful inmaking up elegant sceneries taken as far as stateliness and magni-ficence.

Merely in pairs to frame a portal or a passageway, as well asin a repeated sequence rythmically alternating on a gallery walls,they are unique opportunities for building even elaborate architec-tures on which to lay architraves, gables or arches.
