Lo Ski Civetta è uno dei comprensori sciistici più vasti ed entusiasmanti delle Dolomiti. Agordino, Val Fiorentina e Val di Zoldo si uniscono in quota in un unico carosello di neve che danza intorno a vette tra le più affascinanti e maestose dell’intero arco alpino. 80 km di piste, collegate da moderni impianti di risalita, si snodano tra vedute mozzafiato e, per gli amanti dello sci nordico, più di 50 km di piste a disposizione. Sulla quasi totalità dei tracciati è garantito un efficiente sistema di innevamento artificiale e, sia per lo sci alpino che per il fondo, l’emozione prosegue anche al chiaro di luna in Val di Zoldo, con 5 chilometri di piste perfettamente illuminate per lo sci alpino e 1,2 km per lo sci di fondo. E non è ancora tutto: sono 5 le scuole sci presenti nel comprensorio, ideali sia per i principianti che per gli sciatori più esperti. Un servizio di navetta gratuito vi collega con altre aree del Dolomiti Superski, ben 1.200 km di piste!

OLTRE LO SCIA Selva di Cadore e nella Val di Zoldo vi sono splendidi anelli da percorrere con le ciaspe. Ed ancora: snowboard, telemark, sci alpinismo, piste per slittino, ice-climbing, go-kart sulla neve, pattinaggio su ghiaccio, ice disco dance ed emozionanti partite di hockey di serie A da seguire live al palaghiaccio di Alleghe.

PER I BAMBINIDa sempre Ski Civetta è meta ideale per le famiglie. Particolare attenzione è riservata alle esigenze dei più piccoli: moderni parchi giochi ai Piani di Pezzè (Alleghe) e Pescul, aree divertimento interamente dedicate a loro che diventano campo scuola per imparare a sciare e ad amare la neve, in tutta sicurezza, giocando. Zoldo accoglie i piccoli visitatori nel suo parco giochi a Palma ed organizza la settimana per i bambini, ogni giorno mille sorprese con giochi sulla neve e spettacoli di burattini.

SNOWBOARDPer tutti i giovani appassionati della tavola da qualche anno il Comprensorio del Civetta ha creato spazi dedicati. A Zoldo, sotto la seggiovia Cristelin, vi è un grande snowpark, per gli amanti delle acrobazie, illuminato anche per esercizi di volteggio in notturna: 500 metri di snow fun park per sbizzarrirsi nelle figure più spettacolari. Ad Alleghe, la seggiovia “Pelmo” conduce ad un altro attrezzato snowpark con rail, jump e doppio jump.

GIRO SCIISTICO DELLA GRANDE GUERRANell’area del Civetta svariati sono i punti di partenza per il Giro

Sciistico della Grande Guerra, un itinerario che unisce sport e cultura, ripercorrendo i luoghi teatro della Prima Guerra Mondiale tra forti, trincee e camminamenti, ai piedi di cime dolomitiche quali: Civetta, Pelmo, Cinque Torri, Tofane, Marmolada. Per effettuare il Giro della Grande Guerra è necessario munirsi dello skipass Dolomiti Superski, che dà diritto ad usufruire gratuitamente anche del servizio skibus. Chi ha una minima conoscenza della zona può effettuarlo autonomamente in 6 ore circa, ma sono a disposizione anche accompagnatori per i meno esperti.

Ski Civetta is one of the largest and most exciting ski areas in the Dolomites, bringing together the Agordino, Val Fiorentina and Val di Zoldo in a single circuit which winds its way around some of the most beautiful and majestic peaks in the whole of the alpine area. 80 km of slopes, connected by modern ski and chair lifts, with breathtaking views; and a further 50km of trails for those who prefer cross-country skiing. Almost all the slopes can be covered if necessary using an efficient artificial snow system, and both downhill and cross-country fans can ski on into the night in Val di Zoldo, with 5 km of superb floodlit downhill slopes and 1.2 km of cross-country trails. And there’s more: the area boasts 5 ski schools, ideal both for beginners and the more experienced. A free shuttle service will take you to other areas of the Dolomiti Superski circuit, with 1200 km of slopes and trails.

MORE THAN JUST SKIING In Selva di Cadore and in the Val di Zoldo you will find superb circular ciaspe routes, and you can also enjoy snowboarding, telemark, ski mountaineering, sledging slopes, ice-climbing, go-karting on the snow, skating, ice disco dancing and exciting Serie A ice-hockey matches in the Alleghe Ice Stadium.

FOR KIDSThe Ski Civetta area is perfect for families, because of the attention paid to the special requirements of younger visitors. There are modern children’s parks at Piani di Pezzè (Alleghe) and Pescul, fun areas especially for kids where they can also learn to ski and to love the snow in complete safety, while the Palma fun park in Zoldo organizes special children’s weeks, with fun surprise activities on the snow every day and puppet shows.

there is a large 500 m snowpark where snowboarding enthusiasts can show off their most spectacular, acrobatic moves and practise jumps even at night, because the park has a floodlight system. In Alleghe, the Pelmo chairlift leads to another snowpark equipped with rails, jumps and double jumps.

GREAT WAR SKI TOURWithin the Civetta area there are various departure points for the Great War Ski Tour, a route which brings together sport and culture, running as it does through the places which were the scene of battles during the First World War. Along the route you can see trenches, forts and communication trenches at the foot of Dolomite peaks such as the Civetta, Pelmo, Cinque Torri, Tofane and Marmolada.In order to tackle the Great War Ski Tour you must have a Dolomiti Superski skipass, which also entitles you to free use of the skibus service. Anyone broadly familiar with the area can do the tour on their own in around 6 hours, but guides are also on hand for the less experienced.

Ski Civetta ist eines der größten und faszinierendsten Schigebiete in den Dolomiten. Die Berge im Gebiet Agordino, im Val Fiorentina und im Val di Zoldo vereinen sich zu einem einzigen Schikarussell, das um die schönsten und majestätischsten Gipfel des gesamten Alpenraums führt. Die 80 km Pisten mit modernen Liftanlagen bieten einmalige Ausblicke, und für Langlauffans gibt es 50 km Loipen. Auf fast allen Pisten und Loipen wird gegebenenfalls mit Kunstschnee für einwandfreie Schneeverhältnisse gesorgt, und wer tagsüber noch nicht genug bekommen hat, kann im Zoldo Tal im Mondschein auf 5 km perfekt beleuchteten Pisten und 1,2 km Loipen Einmaliges erleben. Und das ist noch nicht alles: in der Region gibt es 5 Schischulen, die sowohl Anfängern als auch Fortgeschrittenen offen stehen. Ein kostenloses Schibusservice bringt in andere Gebiete des Dolomiti Superski - das heißt, man kann sich auf 1.200 km Pisten austoben!

NICHT NUR SCHILAUFIn Selva di Cadore und im Val di Zoldo gibt es herrliche Routen für Schneeschuhwanderungen. Weitere Sportangebote sind: Snowboard, Telemark, Bergschitouren, Schlittenbahnen, Ice-climbing, Eis – Gokart, Eislauf, Ice disco dance und aufregende Eishockeymatches der Liga A in der Eislaufhalle in Alleghe.

FÜR KINDERSki Civetta ist ideal für Familienurlaube, und das Urlaubsangebot ist daher besonders kinderfreundlich gestaltet: ein moderner Spielplatz in Piani di Pezzè (Alleghe) und Pescul, und Spielwiesen, die im Winter zu Schischulpisten werden, damit sich die Kinder spielerisch und in aller Sicherheit dem Schilauf nähern können. Zoldo begrüßt seine kleinen Gäste auf dem Spielplatz in Palma und bietet Kinderwochen. Im Gebiet Civetta gibt es jeden Tag tausend Überraschungen, amüsante Spiele im Schnee und Vorführungen des Marionettentheaters.

SNOWBOARDSnowboardfans finden im Schigebiet Civetta seit einigen Jahren eigens für diese Sportart angelegte Pisten. In Zoldo gibt es unter dem Sessellift Cristelin einen großen Snowpark, auf denen man akrobatische Sprünge üben kann - und das dank einer Beleuchtungsanlage auch nachts: 500 m Snow Fun Park für Mutige und Waghalsige. In Alleghe bringt der Sessellift “Pelmo” zu einem anderen gut gerüsteten Snowpark mit Rail, Jump und Doublejump.

SCHITOUR DES ERSTEN WELTKRIEGESIm Gebiet Civetta kann man an diversen Punkten die Schitour des Ersten Weltkrieges starten, eine Route, die Sport und Kultur vereint und zu Stätten des Ersten Weltkrieges mit Forts und Schützen- und Laufgräben am Fuß einiger berühmter Dolomitengipfel wie Civetta, Pelmo, Cinque Torri, Tofane und Marmolada führt. Für die Schitour braucht man den Schipass „Dolomiti Superski“, mit dem man dann auch die Schibusse kostenlos nutzt. Wer das Gebiet einigermaßen kennt, kann die Tour in etwa 6 Stunden alleine starten, alle anderen können sich einem Guide anvertrauen.

L’area del Civetta comprende le località di Alleghe, adagiata sulle sponde dell’omonimo lago, Selva di Cadore e Zoldo. Fin dal secolo scorso sono state le imponenti pareti di questo gruppo montuoso (3.218 m) ad attrarre i pionieri dell’escursionismo, con salite tra le più impegnative delle Dolomiti. Ancora oggi alpinisti provenienti da tutto il mondo convogliano qui per sfidare la celeberrima parete nord del Civetta, regno del VI grado. Da non perdere anche le escursioni su Nuvolau, Moiazza e Pelmo.

PER GLI AMANTI DELLE DUE RUOTENumerosi i percorsi, di diversa difficoltà e lunghezza, dedicati agli amanti della mountain bike. L’area è altresì ideale punto di partenza per gli appassionati di moto da strada e bicicletta da corsa perché in posizione centrale rispetto ai passi dolomitici Duràn, Staulanza, Falzarego, Giau, Pordoi, Campolongo e Fedàia.

PASSEGGIATE E RELAXVarie le proposte per chi desidera passeggiate non impegnative: molto rilassanti sono il giro delle frazioni a Selva e Colle Santa Lucia oppure le passeggiate da Alleghe a Caprile e lungolago. Sul lago di Alleghe soffia sempre una piacevole brezza che permette agli appassionati di praticare wind-surf e vela. Chi ama gli sport più tranquilli può scegliere tra canoa, kajak, la classica barca a remi o i pe-dalò. Interessanti i vari itinerari per scoprire le magiche frazioni della Val di Zoldo: il percorso naturalistico “Al Fagarè”, il laghetto de “’l Vach” nella Val Barànce, il Giro tra i Tabià (antichi fienili) di Zoldo Alto, la Val Prampèr nel Parco Nazionale delle Dolomiti Bellunesi. Infine anche i rifugi sono spesso comodamente raggiungibili con gli impianti di risalita.

PER CHI AMA SALIRE IN QUOTAOltre alla celebre parete nord-ovest del Civetta, con decine di vie di elevato valore tecnico ed ineguagliabile bellezza, molte sono le proposte per gli appassionati di alta montagna: un percorso di trekking consente un giro completo del massiccio del Civetta; numerose e frequentate le vie sulle Torri Coldai, Alleghe, Valgrande Venezia e Trieste; un itinerario, con partenza dal passo Staulanza, consente di ammirare in tutta la sua bellezza il solitario massiccio del Pelmo; “l’Anello Zoldano” che, in sei tappe, consente di scoprire tutti i gruppi montuosi della Val di Zoldo ripercorrendo parte delle Alte Vie 1 e 3 delle Dolomiti. Ed ancora: palestre di roccia, naturali ed artificiali, Nordic Walking ed escursioni accompagnati da guide ambientali professioniste.

TRA STORIA, ARTE E CULTURADa non perdere: l’itinerario dei Tesori d’Arte, che conduce alla scoperta dei gioielli artistici conservati nelle chiese di Agordino, Val di Zoldo e Zoppè di Cadore; i percorsi dell’antico “distretto” metallurgico del ferro, con la “strada della vena” che collegava le miniere del Fursìl di Colle Santa Lucia al castello di Andràz; Arsiera e le miniere di Valle Inferna, situate lungo la “Via del Ferro” nella Val di Zoldo. Di notevole interesse è la visita al Museo del Ferro e del Chiodo e al Museo Etnografico della Val di Goi-ma, che offrono uno spaccato di storia, tradizioni e antichi mestieri delle comunità dello Zoldano. La Val di Zoldo conserva un’integrità architettonica importante, con abitazioni caratterizzate da elementi in pietra e legno che ancora numerose si pos-sono ammirare nell’intera valle. Lo Ski Civetta conserva anche tracce di una storia millenaria. Presso il Museo Civico della Val Fiorentina “Vittorino Cazzetta” è visibile lo scheletro di un cacciatore risalente a 7000 anni fa. Il sito archeologico di Mondeval, sede del ritrovamento, è la più importante sepoltura ad alta quota del mondo, a 2.150 m d’altitudine ( apertura del Museo prevista per la primavera 2009).

GASTRONOMIA E PRODOTTI TIPICIRicette semplici, ma saporite, sono alla base della cucina locale. Prodotti genuini come lo speck, i formaggi di malga, i“casonzièi” di zucca con ricotta e burro fuso e la polenta, accompagnata da selvaggina nobile ed erbe selvatiche o dal gustoso pastin; le trote di fiume e naturalmente i dolci come i “canifli” di Colle Santa Lucia, i “grafoin” dell’Agordino o il gelato della Val di Zoldo, tanto amato all’estero. Per finire una buona grappa digestiva, aromatizzata al mirtillo, lampone, mugo, abete bianco, ginepro, “cornole” o cargo (finocchio selvatico).

The Civetta area covers Alleghe, on the banks of the lake of the same name, Selva di Cadore and Zoldo. The forbidding rock walls of this mountain group (3218m), which present some of the most challenging climbs in the whole of the Dolomites, were already attracting pioneer hikers and climbers in the early twentieth century, and are still popular today with mountaineers from all over the globe, who come here to tackle the

world-famous north face of the Civetta, an Italian Grade VI climb. Other superb routes are to be found on the Nuvolau, the Moiazza and the Pelmo.

ON TWO WHEELSMountain bike fans will find a wide range of routes of varying lengths and difficulty levels, with something to suit everyone, and the area is also an ideal base for cyclists and bikers because of its central position, convenient for the Dolomite passes of Duran, Staulanza, Falzarego, Giau, Pordoi, Campolongo and Fedaia.

RELAXING WALKSA variety of easy walks can be enjoyed in the area, such as the relaxing stroll around the neighbourhoods of Selva and Colle Santa Lucia, or the lakeside walk from Alleghe to Caprile. The pleasant breeze which blows across Alleghe Lake all summer makes it ideal for windsurfing and sailing, while those who prefer to cross the lake the easy way can choose from canoes, kajaks, the classic rowing boat or a more modern pedalò. Also interesting are the routes through the enchanting neighbourhoods of the Val di Zoldo, the “Al Fagarè” nature trail, the “l’Vach” lake in the Val Barance, the Tour around the Tabià (traditional haysheds) in Zoldo Alto, and the Val Prampèr in the Dolomiti Bellunesi National Park. And last but not least, there are the mountain refuges, which can often be easily reached by chairlift. UP IN THE MOUNTAINSIn addition to the famous north-west wall of the Civetta, with dozens of routes which are both technically challenging and uniquely beautiful, there are a range of other interesting high-mountain routes in the area, including a trek which goes right round the Civetta massif, and many popular routes on the Torre Coldai, Torre Alleghe, Torre Valgrande, Torre Venezia and Torre Trieste; an itinerary starting out from the Staulanza Pass offers excellent views of the solitary Pelmo; and then there is the “Anello Zoldano” route, which takes in all the mountain groups of the Val di Zoldo in six stages, and runs along part of the Dolomite High Altitude Trails numbers 1 and 3. And there’s more: rock climbing practice walls, both natural and artificial, Nordic Walking and hiking tours accompanied by professional environmental guides.

HISTORY, ART AND CULTUREHighly recommended is the the “Art Treasures” routes, which takes visitors on a voyage of discovery through the priceless artworks hidden away in the churches of the Agordino area, the Val di Zoldo and Zoppè di Cadore; and the routes of the ancient iron mining area, along the “strada della vena” which linked the Fursil mines in Colle Santa Lucia to Andraz Castle, Arsiera and the Val Inferna mines along the “Iron Route” in the Val di Zoldo. Particularly interesting to visit are the Iron and Nail Museum and the Val Goima Ethnographical Museum, which offer a fascinating overview of the history, traditions and traditional trades of the communities of the Zoldano area. The traditional architecture of the Val di Zoldo is particularly well conserved, and many typical houses built in wood and stone can be admired throughout the valley. The Ski Civetta area also conserves traces of thousands of years of history. In the “Vittorino Cazzetta” Civic Museum of the Val Fiorentina visitors can see the skeleton of a hunter dating back 7000 years. The archaeological site of Mondeval, where the skeleton was found, is the most important high-altitude burial site in the world, at a height of 2150 metres (the Museum is expected to open in spring 2009).

TYPICAL CUISINE AND FOOD PRODUCTSSimple, yet delicious recipes are the trademark of the local cuisine. Genuine local produce such as speck, mountain cheeses, “casonzei” filled with pumpkin and ricotta and seasoned with melted butter; polenta, accompanied by game and wild herbs, or the tasty “pastin” (a kind of spiced raw sausage meat); freshwater trout, and sweets such as “canifli” in Colle Santa Lucia, “grafoin” in the Agordino area, or the famous Val di Zoldo ice-cream, popular the world over. And finally, splendid digestive grappas, flavoured with blueberries, raspberries, mugo pine, silver fir, juniper, cornole or carugo (wild fennel).

Die Region Civetta umfasst die Ortschaften Alleghe (am Ufer des gleichnamigen Sees), Selva di Cadore und Zoldo. Schon zu Beginn letzten Jahrhunderts haben die majestätischen und mächtigen Felswände dieser Berggruppe (3.218 m) die Pioniere der Alpinistik angelockt. Die Besteigung des Civetta gilt als eine der schwierigsten im gesamten Dolomitenraum. Auch heute finden sich hier Bergsteiger aus der ganzen Welt ein, um die berühmte Nordwand des Civetta (Stufe VI) in Angriff zu nehmen. Wunderschön sind auch Wanderungen auf den Monte Nuvolau, den Monte Moiazza und den Monte Pelmo.

FÜR RADFAHRERFür Mountainbiker gibt es zahlreiche Routen unterschiedlichen Schwierigkeitsgrads und unterschiedlicher Länge. Das Gebiet ist auch ein Paradies für Straßenrad- und Motorradfahrer, denn es liegt zwischen den Dolomitenpässen Duran, Staulanza, Falzarego, Giau, Pordoi, Campolongo und Fedaia.

SPAZIERGÄNGE UND RELAXEs gibt unzählige Wege für geruhsame Spaziergänge: Sehr erholsam ist der Rundweg durch die Ortsteile in Selva und Colle Santa Lucia oder die Seepromenade von Alleghe nach Caprile. Auf dem See von Alleghe weht das ganze Jahr über eine angenehme Brise, und deshalb kann man dort ausgezeichnet windsurfen und segeln. Wer ruhigere Sportarten bevorzugt, kann es mit dem Kanu, dem Kajak, dem Ruderboot oder einem Tretboot versuchen. Sehr interessant sind auch die Wege durch die malerischen Orte im Val di Zoldo, der Naturweg Al Fagarè, der Weg zum See l Vach im Val Barance, der Rundweg der Tabià (antike Heuschuppen) in Zoldo Alto und die Wege im Val Prampèr im Nationalpark der Bellunesischen Dolomiten. Ein weiterer Tipp ist ein Ausflug in die Berghütten, zu denen man teilweise auch mit Liften gelangt.

WANDERUNGEN IM HOCHGEBIRGENeben der berühmten Nordwestwand des Monte Civetta gibt es natürlich noch viele weitere Touren für Bergsteiger: eine Trekkingroute umrundet das Civettamassiv; zahlreiche beliebte Wege und Steige führen auf die Felstürme (Torri) Coldai, Alleghe, Valgrande Venezia und Trieste; eine Route mit Start auf dem Staulanzapass lässt Sie die Welt des einsamen, mächtigen Monte Pelmo entdecken; der Rundweg “Anello Zoldano” führt in sechs Etappen durch alle Berggruppen des Val di Zoldo und folgt abschnittweise den Dolomitenhöhenwegen 1 und 3. Und außerdem: natürliche und künstlich angelegte Kletterschulwände, Nordic Walking und Wanderungen in Begleitung erfahrener und professioneller Naturführer.

ZWISCHEN GESCHICHTE, KUNST UND KULTURUnbedingt zu empfehlen ist die Kulturroute “Kunstschätze” (Tesori d’Arte). Sie geleitet auf eine Reise zu den Kunstschätzen, die in den Kirchen im Gebiet Agordino, im Val di Zoldo und in Zoppè verborgen sind. Hochinteressant ist auch die “Venenstrasse”. Der antike Weg führte von den Bergwerken Fursil nach Colle Santa Lucia und zum Schloss Buchenstein (Castello di Andraz). Arsiera und die Minen im Val Inferna hingegen liegen an der “Eisenstrasse” (Via del Ferro) im Val di Zoldo. Sehenswert ist außerdem das Eisen- und Nagelmuseum im Volkskundemuseum Val di Goima, in denen man einen Einblick in die Geschichte, das Brauchtum und die Künste der antiken Handwerke der Region Zoldano gewinnt. Im Zoldo Tal gibt es eine sehr bedeutende und noch intakte Volksarchitektur, die in hier sehr verbreiteten Wohnhäusern aus Stein und Holz Ausdruck findet. Die Region Ski Civetta hütet auch die Spuren einer Jahrtausend alten Geschichte. Im Gemeindemuseum „Vittorino Cazzetta“ im Val Fiorentina sieht man das 7000 Jahre alte Skelett eines Jägers. Die archäologische Grabungsstätte Mondeval, wo diese Reste gefunden wurden, ist die weltweit relevanteste Grabstelle im Hochgebirge (auf 2.150 m Seehöhe; die Eröffnung des Museums ist für Frühjahr 2009 geplant).

KULINARISCHES UND HEIMISCHE SPEZIALITÄTENEinfache, schmackhafte Rezepte zeichnen die heimische Küche aus. Genuine Zutaten wie Speck und Almkäse, die “Casonzièi” aus Kürbis mit Ricotta und zerlassener Butter und die unvergleichliche Polenta, die zu Wildgerichten und herzhaftem Pastin serviert wird. Flussforellen und Süßspeisen wie die “Canifli” in Colle Santa Lucia, die “Grafoin” im Agordino oder das (auch im Ausland berühmte) Speiseeis im Val di Zoldo bescheren ebenfalls einmalige Gaumenfreuden. Und nach dem Essen gibt es ein Gläschen Grappa mit Heidelbeer-, Himbeer-, Latschen-, Silbertannen-, Wacholderaroma, einen „Cornole“ oder einen Carugo (Kümmelgrappa).

Every hotel listing includes the following information:1. the name, classification with number of stars varying from

5 to 1, address. the tourist hotel residences are marked by letters Rta next to the name;

2. the number of rooms, beds and baths;3. the minimum and maximum prices for rooms with one bed,

two beds and several beds,4. the minimum and maximum prices, per person, for full board

and half board. these apply to stays of not less than three days and do not include beverages;

5. Prices appearing in the lines marked with a refer to room including bath or shower and private lavatory;

6. the maximum price for breakfast.the standard symbols used for amenities and services of the hotels are illustrated in the legenda. Where the symbol “aCCESS WitH GuiDE” appears, it is advisable to call the hotel keeper for specific needs.Prices are given in euro and intended as “all included” (V.a.t, heating and fixed charge for service). Fees given in this Directory are those stated by hotel keepers as of 1st October 2008 and may be subject to variations from 1st June 2009. However, guests cannot be charged fees different from those on the table of prices that the hotel keeper is obliged to display in the reception area.the quality trade-mark of the hotel business is a voluntary association of hotel management that provides the guests, by an appropriate sign, an objective evaluation of the service level offered.

CLaiMStourists charged with prices higher than that published in this Directory and who have not received adequate satisfaction by the hotel keeper can present a documented claim to: amministrazione Provinciale Settore turismo Via S. andrea n. 5 - 32100 Belluno.
