nasce a Civita Castellana nel 1968.

Si laurea in architettura presso l’Università “La Sapienza” di Roma. Collabora con lo studio Paolo Portoghesi dove segue vari progetti nel campo residenziale, religioso ed urbanistico. Dal 2002 svolge attività professionale per aziende e committenti privati, occupandosi di progettazione architettonica, disegno industriale e comunicazione aziendale. Nel 2005 fonda lo Studio AreA+3 . Vince il Design PLUS 2007 concorso indetto in occasione del ISH Frankfurt Messe, selezione per il concorso Pulchra fra i 100 oggetti più belli al mondo 2007/08 e nel 2008 riceve dall’ADI la Menzione d’Onore per il XXI Compasso D’Oro, 2009 selezione “Premio Dino Gavina” Pesaro. Dal 2012 collabora con Ceramica Cielo.

He obtained his degree in Architecture at the “La Sapienza” University of Rome. He worked with the firm of Paolo Portoghesi where he took charge of various projects in the residential, religious and town building sectors. From 2002 onwards he worked for private companies and clients, engaging in architectonic and industrial design and corporate communications. In 2005 he founded the AreA+3 Studio. In 2007 he won the Design PLUS contest launched on the occasion of the ISH Frankfurt Messe, and in the 2007/08 Pulchra competition his work was selected among the among the world’s 100 most beautiful objects and in 2008 received an Honourable Mention from the ADI XXI Compasso D’Oro. In 2009 he won the “ Dino Gavina Prize” of Pesaro. He has been working with Ceramica Cielo since 2012.

Le dimensioni ridotte di questo lavabo lo rendono adatto anche agli ambienti piccoli senza rinunciare alla praticità, garantita dalla presenza di un cassetto basso o una cassettiera, un vano a giorno e un porta asciugamani. Il sapiente gioco ‘pieno-vuoto’ dei volumi e l’utilizzo di materiali diversi ma pienamente integrati - ceramica per il bacino, legno per le cassettiere e acciaio verniciato per la struttura - conferiscono a Narciso Mini classe ed eleganza.

The small dimensions of this washbasin make it suitable for small environments without having to sacrifice practicality, which is guaranteed by the presence of drawers, a compartment and a towel rail. The clever “full-empty” game of space combined with the use of different but completely integrated materials – ceramic for the basin, wood for the drawers and painted steel for the structure – bestow class and elegance to Narcisco Mini.

Pensato per una sala da bagno elegante e minimale, questo lavabo risponde perfettamente alle esigenze di comfort grazie al doppio bacino, ricavato da un unico blocco in ceramica. L’essenzialità delle linee è accentuata dalla struttura in acciaio e dai volumi contenitori, che dialogano con i lavabi dando vita a un prodotto raffinato e puro dalla “polifunzionalità allargata”.

Designed for an elegant and minimalist bathroom, this washbasin perfectly meets the high demands of comfort, thanks to the double basin carved from a single ceramic block. The simplicity of the lines is accentuated by the steel structure and the capacity of the drawers, that interact with the washbasins, creating a refined and pure product from “extended multi-functionality”.

Evoluzione della collezione I Catini, ilmodello rettangolare ricerca la funzionalità senza rinunciare al gusto retrò che caratterizza l’intera linea. Il bacino, di dimensione ampia e generosa, è incastonato in una minimale struttura in acciaio nella quale può essere appoggiata una mensola bassa oppure inserito un cassetto contenitore.

The evolution of the I Catini collection, this rectangular model seeks functionality without sacrificing the retro taste that characterizes the entire line. The large, generous dimension of the washbasin is embedded in a minimal steel structure in which a low shelf can be placed or a container box inserted.

Our washbasins are inspired by the ritual of washing as a purifying gesture, which is reflected through geometric shapes, circles and ellipses. It is on the border between light and shadow that brings to life the sweet, enveloping, deep and generous shapes of these washbasins enhancing the plasticity of the ceramic material.
