darsi ad un partner esperto, che sia garanzia di sicurezza.

ha devastato L’Aquila.

Sono molte le organizzazioni umanitarie nazionali e internazionali che, da oltre cinquant’anni, pos-

sono contare sui prodotti Ferrino per le operazioni di soccorso: dalle Nazioni Unite alla Croce Rossa,

dal Ministero degli Interni Italiano al Dipartimento di Protezione Civile fi no a Médecins Sans Frontiè-

res, con forniture continuative all’UNICEF, all’UNHCR e al World Food Programme.

Le associazioni e gli enti locali, attivi nel campo della solidarietà e della protezione civile, riconoscono

in Ferrino un solido punto di riferimento, anche grazie alla recente fornitura di tende (3 e 4 Campa-

te), utilizzate con successo dalla Protezione Civile per l’emergenza sismica in Abruzzo.

Those with the task of intervening in emergency or dangerous situations need items and equipment

that will provide them with shelter and protection. In these cases, the only way to deal with unfore-

seen events is to work with an expert partner, one that can off er guaranteed safety.

Ferrino has always accompanied memorable feats in every corner of the globe, from the mountains

of the Himalayas to the great deserts and the endless polar stretches. But there is an even more

important result, a success that we share with everyone working on the front line of emergency

aid: helping to save human lives, providing shelter and assistance to the victims of war and natural

disasters, such as recently in Haiti and after the earthquakes that devastated the Italian region of

L’Aquila.

There are many national and international humanitarian organisations that have been able to

count on Ferrino products in their aid operations, for more than fi fty years: from the United Na-

tions to the Red Cross, the Italian Ministry for the Interior, Civil Protection Department, and Doctors

Without Borders (MSF). Ferrino also supplies UNICEF, UNHCR and the World Food Programme on

Tenda innovativa a montaggio rapido, destinata alle

squadre di Protezione Civile e di Primo Soccorso.

Struttura mista pneumatica-tessile ignifuga (CAT I)

che supera diversi problemi relativi alle tende pneu-

matiche, mantenendo inalterati i vantaggi in fase di

montaggio.

Gli archi di sostegno costituiscono l’armatura pneu-

matica, mentre tutta la tenda è realizzata in tessuto

misto cotone/modacrilico, con caratteristiche di peso

e traspirabilità decisamente interessanti rispetto alla

soluzione classica delle tende pneumatiche, realizzate

interamente in tessuto PVC non traspirante; questo

infatti determina notevoli problemi di condensa e di

cattivo odore con alte temperature.

Le tende Pneu-tex sono disponibili in tre misure: 3

archi (art. 97224), 4 archi (art. 97212) e 6 archi (art.

97220).

Per tutti i modelli sono disponibili: il kit di gonfi aggio/

gonfi aggio simultaneo, il telo interno di coibentazio-

Mixed, pneumatic structure and fl ame-retardant fabric

(CAT I) to overcome the various problems concerning

pneumatic tents, while maintaining all of the benefi ts

during the set-up stages.

The support arches form the pneumatic framework,

while the entire tent is made in a mix of cotton/mo-

dacrylic fabric with weight and breathability characte-

ristics that are decidedly advantageous compared to

the classical pneumatic tents, entirely made in non-

breathable PVC fabric with problems of condensation

and unpleasant odours in high temperatures.

Pneu-Tex tents are available in three sizes: 3 arches

(Art. 97224), 4 arches (Art. 97212), and 6 arches (Art.

97220).

e fi ssato al suolo con robusti tiranti.

diation, signifi cantly lowering the temperature inside.

Made in fl ame-retardant, polyester fi bre, mesh fabric,

Piccolo compressore alimentato con corrente elettri-

TELO INTERNO DI COIBENTAZIONE IGNIFUGO

Consente di migliorare la vivibilità della tenda isolan-

Ha lo scopo di sezionare la tenda in due zone, con la

possibilità di transitare da una zona all’altra grazie ad

due lembi di tessuto. Realizzato in tessuto di cotone

ignifugo (CAT I).

SIMULTANEOUS INFLATION/DEFLATION KIT

This small compressor requiring electrical power of 220

V can be used to infl ate the tent in just a few minutes,

since it works on all elements at the same time. It can

also be used to extract air from the tubes when defl a-

ting the tent for storage purposes, making defl ation

operations much quicker.

FLAME-RETARDANT INTERNAL INSULATION SHEET

This sheet increases tent comfort by providing greater

insulation against outside weather conditions in both

summer and winter. Made from cotton fabric with fl a-

me-retardant treatment (CAT I).

FLAME-RETARDANT DIVIDING SHEET

This sheet is used to divide the tent into two areas, with

the possibility to cross from one to another through an

opening in the sheet, which is obtained by overlapping

two fl aps. Made in fl ame-retardant cotton. (CAT I).

MV 6x6 montaggio veloce

Tenda innovativa di 36 m2, dal montaggio estrema-

mente rapido, realizzata con armatura esterna auto-

stabile, in alluminio, con gli elementi precollegati che

consentono a 4 operatori di erigere la tenda (senza

accessori) in soli 3 minuti. Questa struttura consente

l’applicazione di un telo ombreggiante fornito di serie.

La tenda ha due ingressi, le fi nestre sono dotate di

zanzariera, telo di chiusura e coprifi nestra.

Il telo esterno e il pavimento sono in tessuto polieste-

re spalmato PVC ritardante di fi amma, impermeabile

e imputrescibile.

La tenda è corredata dal telo interno di coibentazio-

ne in tessuto di cotone ignifugo (CAT I), idrorepel-

lente e dal telo ombreggiante confezionato in tessu-

Serie di tende modulari (19-29-39-45 m2) in tessuto

ignifugo sorrette da una robusta armatura autostabile

con traverse lungo il perimetro di base, che consentono

di fi ssare la tenda senza picchetti al suolo: si può mon-

tare su uno spiazzo di cemento.

Le camere interne di diverse dimensioni consentono

di completare la dotazione migliorando radicalmente

Sono disponibili tre misure di camere interne adatte

alle diverse taglie di tende Montana.

Accoppiando una camera di taglia più piccola rispet-

to alla tenda (es. Montana 29FR con camera 19FR), si

ottengono due spazi separati: una zona dormitorio ed

una che può fungere da magazzino o da zona operativa

suffi cientemente spaziosa da accogliere un tavolo con

panche.

Nella nuova produzione le porte d’ingresso sono dotate

anche di zanzariera interna.

Confezionata in tessuto di cotone ignifugo (CAT I),

completa di pavimento in tessuto poliestere spalmato

PVC ignifugo.

There are three diff erent inner tent measurements

that are suitable for the diff erent sizes of Montana

tent.

Using inner tents that are smaller than the tents

themselves (e.g. Montana 29 FR with inner tent 19

FR), is possible to obtain two separate areas: a slee-

ping area and a working or storeroom area for mate-

rials or room for a table with bench seats.

In the new production range, the entrance doors also

The isothermal inner tent signifi cantly increases insu-

lation for the tent, meaning it can maintain a suita-

ble temperature inside even without using a powerful

heating system.

It is made in a special fabric obtained by joining a la-

yer of fl ame-retardant cotton fabric to one in insula-

ting material.

Heating tests have shown how an inner tent in this

materials allows an increase in temperatures inside

the tent of 6-8° C, according to the wind conditions.

Tests were carried out on a tent of approx. 20 m2,

taking the outside and inside temperatures every 15

minutes as well as measuring the humidity and wind

speed. An electric stove (power 2300W, reduced to

1000W overnight) was placed inside the tent.

With this confi guration, with an outside temperature

of –2° C, the inside temperature of the tent remained

around 12° C. With a standard inner tent, the tempe-

rature was found to be 4° C.

sun’s radiation, signifi cantly lowering the temperatu-

una temperatura interna adeguata anche senza l’utiliz-

vento presenti. Le prove sono state condotte su una ten-

da da 20 m2 circa, rilevando ogni 15 minuti la temperatura

esterna e quella interna, l’umidità e la velocità del vento.

All’interno della tenda si è posizionata una stufa elettrica

di potenza 2300W, con funzionamento ridotto a 1000W

nella notte. In questa confi gurazione, con una tempera-

tura esterna di –2° C, la temperatura interna della tenda

si è assestata sui 12° C. Con la camera standard la tem-

peratura rilevata è stata di 4° C.

TEnda modulare ultrarapidaULTRA-FAST MODULAR TENT

La Tenda Modulare Ultrarapida è la soluzione più

versatile proposta oggi da Ferrino, adatta a una mol-

teplicità di usi per i quali la rapidità di montaggio, la

compattezza dell’imballo e la versatilità sono i requi-

siti fondamentali.

Un prodotto ignifugo e pertanto a norma, utilizzabile

in tutte le manifestazioni all’aperto e al chiuso.

La struttura a pantografo in alluminio, consente un

montaggio facile e sicuro che due sole persone sono

in grado di portare a termine in circa 60 secondi, re-

golando le gambe telescopiche all’altezza desidera-

ta. La tenda una volta riposta ha un ingombro molto

ridotto che ne consente il trasporto con qualsiasi

mezzo.

La modularità della tenda permette di affi ancare di-

verse strutture, coprendo spazi espositivi o ricreativi

di notevole dimensione con superfi ci di forme variabili.

STRUTTURA

La struttura in alluminio è costituita da profi li in allu-

minio anodizzati, molto resistenti.

Gli elementi portanti hanno sezione quadrata da 30

mm, con spessore 2 mm.

Gli elementi a pantografo hanno sezione rettangolare,

20 mm x 15 mm, con spessore 2 mm.

I singoli elementi sono assemblati con dadi autobloc-

canti e bulloni a testa stondata. Rispetto alla soluzio-

ne con rivetti è molto più agevole la manutenzione e

l’eventuale sostituzione di parti danneggiate.

I giunti sono realizzati in alluminio a pressofusione e

hanno una notevole resistenza meccanica. Un indubbio

vantaggio rispetto agli elementi in plastica, molto meno

resistenti e affi dabili con basse e alte temperature. La

parte soggetta a scorrimento è protetta da un elemento

interno in plastica che impedisce la graffi atura dei pali,

facilita lo scorrimento e riduce il rischio di inceppamenti

del tessuto all’interno delle parti in movimento.

Le gambe sono telescopiche per ridurre l’ingombro del-

la tenda piegata e per consentire di adattare l’altezza

del singolo appoggio, così da poter montare la tenda

anche in presenza di piani di appoggio non in quota.

La gamba termina con un piede di appoggio di dimen-

sione 10 x 10 cm che presenta due fori per l’inserimen-

to di picchetti di sicurezza.

TESSUTI

Il tetto è realizzato con tessuto di poliestere ignifugo,

impermeabile e antistrappo. (II cat.D.M. 24/6/88).

Le cuciture sono realizzate con macchine di qualità a

doppio ago e sono successivamente termosaldate con

un nastro di poliuretano per garantire l’assoluta im-

permeabilità.

Nei punti di maggior sollecitazione sono presenti dei

rinforzi in tessuto bispalmato PVC per evitare l’usura

del tessuto.

STRUCTURE

The aluminium frame is comprised of extra-strong,

anodised aluminium profi les.

The load-bearing elements have a 30 mm square sec-

tion, with a thickness of 2 mm.

The pantograph elements have a rectangular section

(20 mm x 15 mm), with a thickness of 2 mm.

Individual elements are assembled using self-locking

round head nuts and bolts. Compared to a solution

with rivets, this system is easier to maintain and also

to replace damage parts, if needed.

The joints are made in die-cast aluminium and they

have a notable mechanical strength. This is defi nitely

an advantage compared to elements in plastic, which

are far weaker, and it is also more reliable in high and

low temperatures. The sliding part is protected by an

internal element in plastic to prevent the poles from

being scratched, making sliding easier and reducing the

risk of fabric becoming snagged inside moving parts.

The legs are telescopic to reduce the overall size of the

tent when folded and to make it easier to adapt the

height of single supports so that the tent can even be

set up on uneven surfaces.

The leg ends in a support foot (10 x 10 cm) with two

holes for the insertion of safety pegs.

FABRICS

The roof is made in fl ame-retardant, water-resistant

and tear-proof polyester fabric (II cat.D.M. 24/6/88).

The seams are made with quality machines using

double needles and then they are heat welded with

polyurethane tape to guarantee total watertightness.

The points subject to the greatest stress have fabric

reinforcements, coated with PVC on both sides to pre-

vent wear to the fabric.

ANCORAGGIO

In corrispondenza degli angoli sono previsti degli anelli

in nastro per posizionamento dei tiranti o in alternati-

va, dei “corpi morti” costituiti da pratiche sacche sta-

gne in tessuto atte a contenere sabbia o acqua.

La custodia è realizzata in tessuto di Poliestere 600

Denari di elevata resistenza. In due ampie tasche late-

rali sono inoltre alloggiati gli accessori di serie:

Spilloni e tiranti, Picchetti da 25 mm con sezione a

“T”, una mazza in acciaio da 800 gr e le quattro sacche

stagne utilizzabili come “corpi morti”.

DIMENSIONI

La tenda modulare è disponibile in due diverse misure.

Le strutture possono essere affi ancate su entrambi i

lati e una gronda di collegamento in PVC impedisce le

infi ltrazioni di acqua tra i due tetti.

PARETI SUPPLEMENTARI

Per completare la tenda sono disponibili pareti stan-

dard, pareti con fi nestre semplici, pareti con porta e

pareti con fi nestre dotate di zanzariera e telo copri-

fi nestra.

Tutte le pareti si fi ssano al tetto mediante un robu-

sto velcro e con un analogo sistema a ampia sovrap-

posizione in corrispondenza della gambe, le pareti si

fi ssano una all’altra a realizzare una copertura laterale

completa e continua.

Nel caso in cui si utilizzasse una singola parete, que-

sta può essere fi ssata alle gambe mediante nastri in

velcro posizionati a diversa altezza. Tutte le pareti

presentano asole per l’eventuale fi ssaggio a terra.

Alla base del tetto è previsto un nastro di velcro da 50

mm, per il rapido fi ssaggio delle pareti laterali.

Le pareti sono realizzate nello stesso tessuto ingnifu-

go con cui è realizzato il tetto.

Tale tessuto supera il severo test USA CPAI-84/1995

previsto per i tessuti per tenda e possiede la II cate-

goria DM 24/6/88.

ANCHORAGE

Tape loops are present in the corners to position guy-

lines or alternatively, “ballast”, comprised of sealed fa-

bric bags that can be fi lled with sand or water.

The stuff sack is made in ultra-strong 600 denier pol-

yester fabric. Two large side pockets contain the acces-

sories supplied as standard:

Hooks and guy-lines, T-section pegs (25 mm), a steel

mallet (800 g) and four sealed bags that can be used

for “ballast”.

SIZES

The modular tent is available in two diff erent sizes.

Structures can be placed one alongside the other (ei-

ther side) and a PVC linkage gutter prevents water

from leaking between the two roofs.

ADDITIONAL WALLS

To complete the tent standard walls are available, as

well as walls with plain windows: with windows com-

plete with mosquito net and shade, and walls with

door.

All walls can be secured to the roof by means of strong

Velcro fasteners and with a similar system using a wide

overlap at the legs; the walls can be fastened to one

another to create a full and continuing side coverage.

When using a single wall, this can be fi xed to the legs

with Velcro tapes, placed at diff erent heights. All of

the walls have loops to secure them to the ground, if

necessary.

At the base of the roof is a Velcro tape (50 mm) for

rapid fastening to side walls.

The walls are made in the same fl ame-retardant fabric

as the roof.

This fabric has passed the stringent USA CPAI-84/1995

test envisaged for tents and it is registered as Category

II DM 24/6/88.

Da alcuni anni Ferrino confeziona per il World Food Pro-

gramme (Programma alimentare delle Nazioni Unite)

e per l’UNICEF dei bauli contenenti materiali necessari

al loro personale in missione umanitaria nei paesi più

poveri del mondo.

Ogni kit, racchiuso in un baule con ruote consente di

intervenire e installarsi con la propria attrezzatura in-

dividuale, pronta ed effi ciente, anche in posti lontani e

disagiati.

Esso contiene:

For some years, Ferrino has been making trunks con-

taining materials needed by staff on humanitarian

missions in the world’s poorest countries for the World

Food Programme and UNICEF.

Each kit, inside a trunk on wheels, allows staff to be

equipped with their own kit so that they can be ready
