A gigantic medieval castle in the foothills of Italy's Dolomites mountain range is going on the market for the first time ever - and it could make for a fantastic private home or tourist attraction.

Fully-furnished Castel Valer - previously valued at more than €31million (£26million) - has 80 rooms and has been owned by the same family since the 14th century.

The new owner will enjoy more than 35,000 square feet of living space, with 15 bedrooms, 14 bathrooms, five kitchens, including a medieval smoke kitchen, a banquet hall and an octagonal tower.
