L’Hotel & Spa Rosa Alpina, apprezzato e conosciuto per la sua ospitalità di alto livello, si trova a San Cassiano, un paesino di montagna a 1500 m di altitudine. Qui gli 800 abitanti parlano e scrivono ancora in Ladino, una lingua Reto-romana, a tutt’oggi la terza lingua in uso in provincia di Bolzano. Circondato dalle cime più belle delle Dolomiti e da ben tre siti che l’Unesco, a fine giugno, ha dichiarato Patrimonio dell’Umanità, l’Hotel & SPA Rosa Alpina è di proprietà della famiglia Pizzinini che da tre generazioni e da oltre 70 anni continua nella sua gestione famigliare. Questa consolidata tradizione nell’ospitalità unitamente allo stretto lega-me con il territorio circostante, si riflettono in ogni ambiente dell’hotel, che oggi vanta un carattere e un’immagine fortemente individuali e raf-finati. Segni distintivi e unici grazie ai quali, negli anni, è diventato la meta e il riferimento, per i molti amanti della montagna, sia d’estate che d’inverno.

Das Hotel & Spa Rosa Alpina, bekannt für seine diskrete und gehobene Gastfreundschaft, befindet sich im Herzen der italienischen Dolomiten, mitten im idyllischen Bergdorf Sankt Kassian. Seit nunmehr drei Gene-rationen befindet sich das Hotel im Besitz der Familie Pizzinini und wird auch von derselben seit über 70 Jahren geführt. Dadurch zählt es zu den traditionsreichsten Häusern in der Gegend. Das Hotel & Spa Rosa Alpina zeichnet sich durch ein stilvolles Ambiente aus und spiegelt in diesem Sinne die Harmonie der Natur in den Dolomiten wider. Sommer wie Win-ter eignet sich für vielerlei sportliche Aktivitäten im Freien.

La storia dell’Hotel & Spa Rosa Alpina è strettamente legata ai cambia-menti politici e del territorio ladino, fattori che hanno influito anche sullo sviluppo turistico delle Dolomiti. La storica locanda di paese, chiamata “Alpenrose” e costruita nel 1850 sotto l’allora dominio dell’Impero Austro-Ungarico, fungeva anche da canonica per il paese di San Cassiano. Nel 1939 la famiglia Pizzinini la acquista e inizia un personale proces-so di continua evoluzione e rinnovamento, che ne ha contraddistinto la gestione. Con costanti ristrutturazioni e con periodici lavori di ingran-dimento, la struttura è stata migliorata e resa adeguata agli standards Relais& Chateaux, associazione alla quale l’Hotel & Spa Rosa Alpina aderisce dall’anno 2000.

Die Geschichte des Hotel & Spa Rosa Alpina ist eng mit der Gegend verflochtet. Die letzten 90 Jahre brachten nachhaltige politische und geographische Veränderungen für die gesamte Region, was sich unter anderem auch auf den Tourismus auswirkte. Das damalige Gasthaus „Alpenrose“, erbaut im Jahr 1850 als „Widum“ (Pfarrhaus), wurde seit 1939 von der Familie Pizzinini ständig erweitert und ausgebaut, um den steigenden Ansprüchen der Gäste gerecht zu werden. Seit dem Jahr 2000 gehört das Hotel & Spa Rosa Alpina zur prestigeträchtigen Vereinigung „Relais & Châteaux“.

The history of the Hotel Rosa Alpina is intertwined with the history of thearea. Almost 100 years of political and geographical changes have marked the history of the whole region with a strong impact on the deve-lopment of tourism. The then „Alpenrose“, built in 1850 as a parish priest house, was expanded and improved by the Pizzinini family who began the powerful family tradition in 1939. Since the year 2000 Hotel Rosa Alpina is affiliated to the prestigious Relais & Châteaux chain of luxury hotels and has become a landmark in mountain tourism.

Inoltre piscina coperta, Ja-cuzzi, bagno turco, sauna finlandese e palestra attrezzata completano l’offerta benessere da unire ai trattamenti.

Hotel & Spa Rosa Alpina is the birthplace of the Daniela Steiner Beauty Spas which opened in 1989. Housed in the hotel‘s main building, the spa offers a range of à la carte treatments and massages performed by highly trained therapists and beauticians. The in-door swimming pool, Jacuzzi, steam bath, Finnish sauna and gym complement the wellness philosophy of the hotel.
