Questo manuale è stato realizzato allo scopo difornire tutte le informazioni necessarie per installareed utilizzare il BHP in maniera corretta e sicura eper effettuarne la manutenzione.

Occorre leggere e capire questo manualeprima di usare il BHP,

ed effettuare qualsiasi operazionecon esso o su di esso.

Il manuale è suddiviso in sezioni, capitoli e paragrafiin modo da presentare le informazioni strutturate inmodo chiaro.Le pagine sono numerate progressivamente.La ricerca delle informazioni può essere basatasull’utilizzo delle parole chiave usate come titolodelle sezioni e dei capitoli ma soprattutto dallaconsultazione dell’indice generale.

You have to read and understand this manualbefore using the BHP and carrying out any

operation on it.

This manual has been divided into sections, chaptersand paragraphs in order to present the informationin a structured and clear way.The pages are numbered progressively.The search for information may be done eitherthrough the key words used as titles for the sections,or through the consultation of the general index.

Keep this manual at hand even after having read it,it may help clarify any doubt.

ATTENZIONEEvitare nel modo più assoluto di dare corso almontaggio senza avere a disposizione l'attrez-zatura necessaria. Il procedere con attrezzi difortuna può, oltrechè danneggiare irreparabil-mente il vang, risultare pericoloso perl'incolumità generale.

■ A-2 Descrizione del BHP

Bamar Hydraulic Panel è una pompa manualepredisposta con indicatore di pressione, valvola dirilascio e manopola di selezione per 4 funzioni(optional), per un controllo facile e veloce delsistema.La scelta delle funzioni è caratterizzata da unselezionatore a scatti che si può sentire attraversola manopola, importante quando l’equipaggio nonriesce a vedere chiaramente il pannello.Il sistema è provvisto di un grande indicatore conuna grafica chiara che permette di leggere lapressione facilmente e velocemente.Inoltre è fornito di una valvola di scarico dellapressione per proteggere l’impianto idraulico dibordo.La pompa è posta al centro, nella parte inferiore delpannello , per offrire un vantaggio meccanico e unconseguente minor sforzo fisico. Leva in titanio arichiestaBHP è disponibile con pompa a velocità sempliceed offre come optional una pompa a doppia velocitàautomatica. Questa triplica il flusso d’olio alle bassepressioni per un veloce pompaggio. Si sposta poiautomaticamente ad una velocità più bassa quandola pressione arriva ad un livello pre-regolato.Le valvole ad alto flusso e le uscite dell’olio,permettono ai pannelli di essere facilmenteinterfacciati con una centralina elettro-idraulica perwinch ed avvolgifiocchi idraulici. Il flusso dell’olio,fornito dalla centralina elettro-idraulica, è controllatodal sistema BHP. La regolazione fine alle altepressioni può essere completata con la pompamanuale.Il pannello a funzione singola può esseresuccessivamente convertito a pannellomultifunzione con l’unità di conversione a 4 funzioni.

A INFORMAZIONI GENERALE - GENERAL INFORMATION

CAUTIONAvoid starting to assemble the system withoutthe necessary tools. Proceeding with the wrongtools may not only irremediably damage thesystem, but also be dangerous for general safety.

■ A-2 Description of the BHP

Bamar Hydraulic Panel is a manual pump suppliedwith gauge, release valve and 4-function selectorknob (optional), for easy and quick control.

Function selection is characterized by a “click intoplace” that can be felt through the knob: animportant aspect whenever the crew do not easilysee the panel.The system is provided with a big gauge with cleargraphics that allows an easier and quicker pressurereading. Moreover, it is supplied with a pressure reliefvalve to protect the boat’s hydraulic plant.The pump is centered on the lower part of the panel,in order to give a better mechanical advantage andless physical effort. Titanium lever available ondemand.BHP is available with a single speed pump and offersa double speed auto-shift pump as an option. Thelatter triples the oil flow at low pressure for a quicktake-up and then automatically moves to a slowerspeed when the pressure gets to a preset level.High flow valves and ports allow panels to be easilyinterfaced with any hydraulic power pack used forwinches and hydraulic furlers. Oil flow supplied bythe hydraulic power pack is controlled through theBHP system. Fine tuning at high pressure can becompleted with the manual pump.The single function panel can be later converted intomultifunction panel with the 4 function conversionunit.

■ A-4 Receipt of goodsThe goods are shipped at the receiver’s own risk.The purchaser will have to check the goods carefullyand should claim from the carrier in the due terms.

■ B-1 Indicazioni generaliQuesto capitolo riassume le indicazioni di sicurezzadi carattere generale che saranno integrate, nei capitoliseguenti, da specifiche avvertenze ogni qualvoltadovesse risultare necessario.Nonostante l’estrema semplicità delle operazioni dimontaggio e la facilità nell’uso dell’attrezzatura, èopportuno che vengano rispettate alcune elementarinorme di sicurezza. Queste norme consentiranno,oltre all’incolumità fisica dell’operatore, una correttagestione del prodotto ed una sua ottimale resa neltempo.- Leggere attentamente e comprendere le istruzioni

per l'uso prima di procedere all'installazione ed allamessa in funzione del BHP.

- Il BHP non deve in alcun modo essere utilizzatoda bambini o per impieghi diversi da quellispecificati nel presente manuale.

- Non sono necessari particolari indumenti. Restacome norma di carattere generale quella di munirsidi un abbigliamento comodo, pratico e che nontenda ad impedire i movimenti degli arti.

- Tenere sempre questo manuale a portata di manoe conservarlo con cura. Leggerlo attentamente perapprenderne le istruzioni relative sia al montaggioche all’uso.

- Evitare che persone non a conoscenza dellenecessarie informazioni possano intervenire sulsistema.

- Eseguire le operazioni di montaggio e manutenzionein condizioni ottimali di visibilità ed in ambienti che,per clima e collocazione ergonomica del piano dilavoro, possano risultare idonei allo svolgimento ditutte le operazioni necessarie.

- Qualora gli interventi debbano necessariamenteavvenire sull’imbarcazione, effettuarli soltantoquando le condizioni climatiche possano garantirela massima sicurezza.

- Non eseguire l'installazione in caso di forte vento odi temporali.

- Non eseguire mai alcun intervento (operativo omanutentivo) in presenza di persone che per età ocondizione psicofisica non siano in grado di garantireil necessario buonsenso.

B SICUREZZA - SAFETY

■ B-1 General indicationsThis chapter summarises the general safetyindications that will be integrated in the followingchapters by specific tips when necessary.Though the system is very simple to assemble anduse, some basic safety rules have to be followed.These rules will grant both the safety of the operatorand the correct use of the product for its bestpreservation in time.

- carefully read and understand the instructionmanual before installing and using the BHP.

- The BHP must never be used by children, andmust not be employed for uses that are notcontemplated in this manual.

- No peculiar clothes are necessary. The onlygeneral rule to be followed is the use ofcomfortable and practical clothes which do nothinder movements.

- Always keep this manual handy. Read it carefullyin order to learn the instructions for bothinstallation and use.

- Do not allow people who do not have thenecessary knowledge to use the system.

- Carry out the installation and maintenance inoptimal conditions of visibility and in rooms thatare suitable for all necessary operations both forthe climate and for the collocation of the planeof work.

- Should the interventions be inevitably executedonboard, carry them out only when the climatecan grant the highest safety.

- Do not carry out the installation in case of strongwind or rainstorm.

- Do not execute any intervention in presence ofpersons that for either age of psycho-physicalconditions can not grant the necessary commonsense.

■ C-1 Operazioni preliminariIl BHP viaggia imballato in casse di legno o inscatole di cartone.In entrambe i casi occorre aprire l'imballo rimuovereeventuali legacci o nastri di trattenimento, ed estrarreil BHP.

RISPETTA L'AMBIENTE

Occorre smaltire gli imballi nei modi e nei tempiconsentiti dalle vigenti normative. Il legno puòessere bruciato, mentre il nylon non deve esserenè bruciato, nè disperso nell'ambiente o in mare.

■ C-2 Montaggio e posizionamento

Localizzare la corretta ubicazione del pannelloconsiderando la posizione abituale dei membridell’equipaggio quando azionano la pompa.Usare una guarnizione marina d’alta qualità tra ilpannello e la paratia per prevenire passaggi d’acqua.Montare il serbatoio separato completo di porta-gomma con gli accessori forniti, il tubo flessibile, lefascette ed il relativo filtro.Assicurarsi di lasciare spazio sufficiente per ilriempimento, sopra il tappo rimovibile posizionatonella parte alta del serbatoio.Il fondo del serbatoio dovrebbe stare sopra lapompa considerando che l’aspirazione della pompane sarà favorita, ma ciò non è essenziale perun’operazione soddisfacente.Porre il serbatoio il più vicino possibile alla pompaal fine di minimizzare l’effetto sbandamento.

■ C-1 Preliminary operationsThe BHP is shipped in either wooden cases orcardboard boxes.In both cases you need to open the packaging,remove any string or laces, and take out the ponel.

RESPECT THE ENVIRONMENT

You need to dispose of the packagings in theways and times allowed by the laws in force.Wood can be burned, whereas nylon can neitherbe burnt nor thrown in the environment or atsea.

■ C-2 Installation & position

Find the correct location of the panel keeping in mindthe normal position of crew members when usingthe pump.Use a high quality marine seal between panel andbulkhead in order to prevent water leakages.Install the separate reservoir complete with tubesocket and supplied accessories: flex hose, filter andhose clamps.Remember to leave enough room over theremovable cap at the top of the reservoir for filling.The bottom of the reservoir should be over the pumpin order to help pump suction. This is not essential,though, for a satisfactory operation.Put the reservoir as near to the pump as possible inorder to minimize the effect of heel.

■ C-3 Serbatoi idraulici

I serbatoi Bamar permettono un controllo visivo dellivello dell’olio, poichè sono fatti in materiale plasticoidrorepellente e semitrasparente (polietilene).Leggere con attenzione la seguente tabella ed ildisegno n°.320990002 per controllare le dimensionie la capacità dei serbatoi e verificare se occorronoserbatoi supplementari consultando la tabella deivolumi dei cilindri. Per una capacità maggiore sipossono collegare più serbatoi.

■ C-4 Tubi idraulici

Sappiamo che l’utilizzo di tubazioni in acciaio inoxè molto comune, tuttavia i tubi flessibili sono perfettiin quasi tutte le installazioni. Il tubo flessibile Bamarè più facile da installare; se ciò verrà fattocorrettamente, funzionerà per anni senza problemi.Attenzione: evitare oggetti affilati ed elementi difissaggio ed assicurarsi che il tubo non si pieghi.Applicazioni: queste tubazioni sono state create perutilizzo oleodinamico e pneumatico ad altapressione.Temperatura di esercizio: -40° +93°

ISTRUZIONI DI MONTAGGIO e USO - INSTALLATION and USE

■ C-3 Hydraulic reservoirs

Bamar reservoirs allow visual checking of hydraulicoil level since they are made of water-repellenttranslucent plastic material (polyethylene). Please,read the table hereafter and the drawing n.320990002, in order to check the reservoir’sdimensions and capacity. For additional capacity,reservoirs can be linked together.

■ C-4 Hydraulic hoses

We know the use of stainless steel tube is quitecommon, but flexible hoses are perfect for mostinstallations. Bamar’s flexible hoses are reinforcedwith two kevlar fibre plaits and are easier to install.Moreover, with a correct installation they will performfaultlessly for many years. Warning: avoid sharpobjects and fastenings and make sure the hoses donot curl too much.Applications: these hoses have been created for highpressure pneumatic and hydraulic use.Working temperature: -40° +93°

■ C-5 Impianto idraulico per pompa a singolaportata

Connettere i due porta-gomma posti sul fondo delserbatoio (A)con il porta-gomma di aspirazione dellapompa (IN)(D), usando il tubo a bassa pressionefornito dalla casa.Posizionare il filtro dell’olio di plastica, fornito indotazione, sulla linea di aspirazione(A-D)accertandosi che la freccia indicata sul filtro siaorientata verso il corpo pompante.Connettere l’altro porta-gomma (C) del serbatoiocon il porta-gomma (F) del regolatore tramite il tuboa bassa pressione.Un singolo tubo ad alta pressione o un tubo diacciaio inox (per un minimo di 5.000 psi), devecollegare la valvola/e del pannello centrale ad ognicilindro di manovra.Il tubo ad alta pressione, i cilindri e i vang sonodisponibili presso i distributori Bamar.

• Se il pannello ha una singola funzione, il tuboflessibile o il tubo rigido provienedall’accessorio (G).

• Se è a funzione multipla, il tubo rigido collegala pompa alla valvola di selezione a 4 vienel raccordo centrale (H).

Per i cilindri a doppio effetto, quando si usa unavalvola a 4 vie consultate A.R.TE. srl.

■ C-6 Impianto idraulico per pompa a doppiaportata

Connettere il primo dei tre porta-gomma (A) postisul fondo del serbatoio con il porta-gomma diaspirazione della pompa (IN)(D), usando il tubo abassa pressione fornito.Posizionare il filtro dell’olio di plastica, fornito indotazione, sulla linea di aspirazione(A-D)accertandosi che la freccia indicata sul filtro siaorientata verso il corpo pompante.Connettere il secondo porta-gomma (B) con il porta-gomma (OUT) (C) del corpo pompante tramite il tuboa bassa pressione fornito.Connettere il terzo porta-gomma (C) del serbatoiocon il porta-gomma (F) del regolatore tramite il tuboa bassa pressione.Un singolo tubo ad alta pressione o un tubod’acciaio inox (per un minimo di 5.000 psi), devecollegare la valvola/e del pannello centrale ad ognicilindro di manovra.

Connect the two tube sockets positioned on thebottom of the reservoir (A) with the pump intake tubesocket (IN)(D), using the low pressure tube supplied.Position the plastic oil filter, supplied, on the suctionline (A-D) making sure the arrow on the filter isoriented towards the pumping body.Connect the other tube socket (C) on the reservoirwith the tube socket (F) on the regulator using a lowpressure tube.The valve/s on the central panel has/have to beconnected to each cylinder through either a singlehigh pressure hose or a stainless steel tube (for atleast 5.000 psi).The high pressure hose, the cylinders and vangsare available from Bamar distributors.

• If the panel has a single function, the flex orrigid hose comes from the accessory (G).

• If it is a multifunction panel, the rigid hoseconnects the pump to the 4-way selectorvalve on the central fitting (H).

For push-pull cylinders, contact A.R.TE. srl, whenusing a 4-way selector valve.

■ C-6 Hydraulic plant for double speed pump

Use the low pressure hose supplied to connect thefirst of the three tube sockets (A) on the bottom ofthe reservoir to the pump take-in tube socket (IN)(D).

Position the plastic oil filter supplied on the suctionline (A-D) making sure the arrow on the filter isoriented towards the pumping body.

Connect the second tube socket (B) to the tubesocket (OUT) (C) on the pumping body using thelow pressure tube supplied.Use the low pressure hose to connect the tubesocket (C) to the tube socket (F) on the regulator.

A single high pressure hose or a stainless steel tube(for at least 5.000 psi), have to be used to connectthe valve/s to the central panel with each cylinder.

PERICOLONon utilizzare mai fluido per freni perché intaccale guarnizioni.

La pulizia dell’olio dovrebbe essere controllataperiodicamente.Qualsiasi problema delle particelle dell’olio faràdiminuire la vita delle parti in movimento e può anchecausare dei malfunzionamenti.Il filtro dell’olio dovrebbe essere cambiato se c’èuna perdita di portata con funzione discontinua dellapompa dovuta alla scarsità d’olio.

■ C-7 Oil and filter

Use either an hydraulic oil with an ISO 32 viscositydegree or a non-detergent motor oil (detergentscause foaming).

DANGERNever use brake fluid as it attacks seals .

Oil cleanliness should be periodically checked.Any problem with oil particles will dicrease the lifeof moving parts and may cause malfunctions.The oil filter should be changed if there is any pumpskipping due to lack of oil.

■ C-8.2 Cilindri vang

La pressione all’interno dei cilindri viene caricatadirettamente da A.R.TE. in fase di produzione. Nelcaso dobbiate ricaricare il vostro cilindro e nonabbiate la possibilità di contattare A.R.TE. o unCentro Assistenza autorizzato, potete utilizzare unasemplice pompa per bicicletta, oppure un tubod’aria della stazione di servizio o anche una bombolada sub con apposito collettore-adattatore, dotatodi regolatore-controllo di pressione in uscita.

■ C-8.1 Standard cylinders

Standard cylinders are equipped with an air-pressurereturn. This return is charged through the“pneumatic” valve located on the cylinder’s body,on the opposite end of the rod.You can use either a bicycle pump or a servicestation air hose in order to charge the return up to100 psi (7.0 bar).Air pressure should be regulated depending on thereturn speed you wish .

DANGERNever try to disassemble the cylinder oncecharged. This should be done either in anauthorized Hydraulic Service Centre (Bamardistributors) or c/o A.R.TE. srl.-Italy.

■ C-8.2 Vang cylinders

Vang cylinders are equipped with a pressure returncharged with a “pneumatic” pump located on thecylinder’s body, near to the boom-side vangconnection .Air pressure should be regulated depending on thereturn speed you wish, and on the thrust needed tocontrast the weight of the boom.The return has to be charged up to 428-500 psi (30-35 bar).

DANGERNever try to disassemble the cylinder oncecharged. This should be done either in anauthorized Hydraulic Service Centre (Bamardistributors) or c/o A.R.TE. srl.-Italy.

Cylinders' pressure is charged by A.R.T.E.Should you need to recharge your cylinder and youdo not have the possibility of contacting eitherA.R.T.E. or an Authorized Service Center, you canuse either a bicycle pump, a service station air hose,or a diver cylinder with an adapter supplied withan outlet pressure regulator.

■ C-9 Spurgo del sistema

Dopo aver installato il pannello, i cilindri e letubazioni, si deve riempire di olio il serbatoio espurgare l’impianto eliminando tutta l’aria nelsistema. I cilindri che i tubi devono essere spurgatiseparatamente.

• Aprire completamente la valvola del rilascio.Se il sistema è multifunzione, selezionare lafunzione che si desidera spurgare e via viatutte le altre.

• Estendere completamente l’asta del cilindro(con il tubo connesso). Se è presente dellapressione nella camera inferiore, il cilindrosi estenderà automaticamente.

• Disconnettere il tubo dal cilindro.

PERICOLOScollegare sempre lentamente perpermettere alla pressione rimasta didecrescere lentamente. Fare attenzionea possibili gocce d’olio.

• Chiudere la valvola di rilascio ed azionare lapompa, tenendo l’estremità del tubo in unbarattolo per raccogliere l’olio. Quando l’oliofuoriesce senza bolle, ricollegare il tubo alcilindro.

• Pompare il cilindro comprimendolo (acilindro staccato dal sartiame). Poi aprire lavalvola di rilascio e permettere al cilindro diestendersi completamente riempiendosi diolio nuovamente.

• Ripetere le stesse operazioni per ognicilindro.


■ C-9 Bleeding the system

You should add oil to the reservoir after havinginstalled panel, cylinders and hoses, in order to bleedthe system from all air. Each cylinder and hose mustbe bled separately.

• open the release valve completely. If it is amultifunction system, choose the function tobe bled first.

• with the hose attached to the cylinder,completely extend the cylinder. The cylinderwill automatically extend if there is airpressure in the lower chamber.

• disconnect the hose from the cylinder.

DANGERAlways disconnect slowly in order to allowthe remaining pressure to decreasegradually. Pay attention to possible oildrips.

• close the release valve and the pump,holding the hose end in a tin to collect theoil. When the oil is bubble-free, reconnectthe hose to the cylinder .

• pump down the cylinder (the cylinder has tobe detached from rigging). Then open therelease valve and let the cylinder extendcompletely.

• repeat the above mentioned procedure withevery cylinder and hose.

■ C-10 Regolazione della valvola di sicurezza

La valvola di sicurezza(M) è regolata in officina adapprossimativamente 4000 psi. La regolazione èfornita dal tappo tondo filettato posto nel bloccod’alluminio, dove è ricavata la valvola e posto nelretro del pannello. La valvola di sicurezza può essereregolata max a 5000 psi (350 bar). Girando il tappoin senso antiorario si abbassa la pressione massima.In senso orario si alza. La regolazione è di circa 1000psi (70 bar) a giro completo. Per determinare laregolazione senza tendere il sartiame, sconnetterequalsiasi cilindro dal sartiame o dalla funzioneapplicata e pompare il cilindro corrispondente finoa che questo arriva in fondo e aumenta la pressionedella la valvola di sicurezza. Ciò sarà evidenziatosul manometro. La soglia di massima pressionecontrollata dalla valvola di sicurezza sarà raggiuntaquando, a pompaggio continuato, la pressione nonriesce più ad alzarsi.

PERICOLONON MODIFICARE LA REGOLAZIONE DELLAVALVOLA DI SICUREZZA. Ciò deve essere fattoesclusivamente in un Centro di Servizio Idraulicoautorizzato A.R.TE. srl (distributori Bamar) o dallastessa A.R.TE. srl.-Italia.

■ C-11 Istruzioni di funzionamento

Per aumentare la tensione all’interno del cilindro ènecessario azionare la pompa a mano.Accertarsi che la valvola del rilascio sia chiusa. Nelcaso della versione multifunzione, posizionare ilselettore sulla funzione desiderata ed effettuarequindi la manovra di pompaggio o di rilascio.Sono fornite etichette adesive da posizionare sulpannello per identificare velocemente la funzioneprescelta.Stringere la valvola di rilascio e poi pompare.Non stringere eccessivamente la valvola di rilascio.Il corpo della valvola è provvisto di uno specialecontrollo interno di serraggio.Per ridurre la tensione, aprire la valvola di rilascio.

ATTENZIONERicordarsi che non è necessario girare con moltaforza per chiudere la valvola di rilascio.

■ C-10 How to regulate the safety valve

The safety valve (M) is pre-set at approximately 4000psi. Adjustment is made through the threaded roundcap on the aluminium valve block located on therear of the panel. The safety valve can be set atmaximum 5000 psi (350 bar). You lower themaximum pressure by turning the cap anti-clockwise. You raise it by turning clockwise. Eachcomplete turn corresponds to circa 1000 psi (70 bar).In order to determine the regulation withouttensioning the rig, disconnect one of the cylindersfrom either rig or applied function and pump it untilit gets to the bottom and the safety valve raises.When continuous pumping fails to raise pressure,you have reached the maximum pressure thresholdcontrolled by the safety valve.

DANGERDO NOT MODIFY THE SETTING OF THE SAFETYVALVE. This should be done either in anauthorized Hydraulic Service Centre (Bamardistributors) or c/o A.R.TE. srl.-Italy.

■ C-11 Operating instructions

In order to augment the tension inside the cylinderyou need to start the manual pump. Make sure therelease valve is closed. If you have the multifunctionversion, position the selector on the desired functionand then pump or release.We supply stickers to be positioned on the panel inorder to quickly identify the chosen function.Tighten the release valve and then pump. Do nottighten it too much though. The body of the valve issupplied with a special zero-leakage check valve.Open the release valve in order to reduce tension.

CAUTIONRemember it is not necessary to use muchstrenght when closing the release valve .

Bamar has selected the hydraulic oil “Tellus T32” tobe used in the hydraulic panels BHP.This is an high standard oil with an ISO 32 viscositydegree. This oil has anti-wear, anti-foam, and anti-corrosion additives. It is suitable for pumpingsystems with high pressure and high flow in-linepistons.Minimum characteristics: viscosity degree ISO 32,viscosity index ISO 95 and a flow point of –10° F (-20° C).

■ C-15 Cilindri idraulici

Grazie alla nostra pluriennale esperienza ed allanostra continua ricerca, abbiamo creato una nuovalinea di cilindri Bamar d’alta qualità e durevoli neltempo. Sono sistemi con un’alta tolleranza, pro-dotti con materiali di prima qualità.Su ordinazione, possiamo fornire lunghezze custom.

La linea di cilindri standard Bamar viene prodottacon materiali di alta qualità adatti all’ambiente ma-rino. Gli steli sono ricavati da acciaio inox 316 luci-dato. Il tubo, la forcella ed il coperchio sono tutti inalluminio anodizzato hardcote.Possiamo fornire anche cilindri custom per qualsi-asi applicazione.

■ C-16 Terminali per cilindri

Bamar offre una varietà di terminali per cilindri, adattiper utilizzi diversi:

Bamar standard cylinders are manufactured withhigh quality materials. Rods are made from polishedstainless steel 316. Tube, fork and cap are allmachined from hard-cote anodized aluminium.We can also supply custom cylinders for anyapplication.

• double turnbuckle fork÷it allows a good lengthadjustement

• fork-eye toggle÷it is used on the lower part ofthe cylinder in order to prevent side loads. Itis normally installed on backstay- and innerforestay- cylinders .

■ D-1 Manutenzione

Il BHP è costruito con materiali resistenti allacorrosione dell'ambiente marino ed in grado dimantenere inalterate le caratteristiche tecnichedell'attrezzatura in ogni condizione ambientale.Alcune semplici regole di manutenzione, se applicateregolarmente, consentiranno di mantenere inalteratenel tempo tali caratteristiche.La pulizia dell’olio dovrebbe essere controllataperiodicamente.Qualsiasi problema delle particelle dell’olio faràdiminuire la vita delle parti in movimento e può anchecausare dei malfunzionamenti.Il filtro dell’olio dovrebbe essere cambiato se c’èuna perdita di portata con funzione discontinua dellapompa dovuta alla scarsità d’olio.

PERICOLONon utilizzare mai fluido per freni perché intaccale guarnizioni.

✔ AVVERTENZAL'impiego di ricambi originali permette di assicuraresempre la massima resa ed efficienza del prodotto.A.R.TE. declina ogni e qualsiasi responsabilità perdanni a cose e/o a persone derivanti dall'impiego dicomponenti diversi da quelli messi a disposizionedella propria Clientela.La garanzia stessa, nel caso di impiego dicomponenti non originali, decade anche se in corsodi validità.

■ D-1.1 Ricambi

Dopo periodi medio-lunghi si può rendere necessriala sostituzione di alcuni componenti di normaleusura.

Non si può fornire un periodo di intervento pereffettuare la sostituzione, questo varia dall'uso edalle condizioni di utilizzo. Si raccomanda comunquedurante le normali operazioni di manutenzione sullabarca di verificare l'integrità del prodotto.

This BHP is manufactured with strong materialsresisting to the corrosion caused by a saltyenvironment and keeps its technical characteristicsin any weather condition.If you regularly follow some simple maintenancerules, you will keep these characteristics unchanged.

Oil cleanliness should be periodically checked.

Any problem with oil particles will dicrease the lifeof moving parts and may cause malfunctions.The oil filter should be changed if there is any pumpskipping due to lack of oil.

DANGERNever use brake fluid as it attacks seals .

✔ WARNINGThe use of original spare parts prevents themechanism from losing its maximum efficiency.

A.R.TE. declines any responsibility for damagescaused to persons and/or things deriving from theuse of non original components.

The warranty is void if non-original components areused.

■ D-1.1 Spare parts

After some time you may need to change somecomponents because of wear.We cannot determine a period in time when to carryout the replacements. These will vary depending onthe use and external conditions. Anyway, we stronglyrecommend to check the integrity of the product inthe ordinary operation of maintenance.

Periodo di copertura: 2 anni a partire dalla data diacquisto, purché venga inviata la cedola allegataal manuale di istruzioni del prodotto.

Attivazione della garanzia: Inviare ad A.R.TE. SRL,entro 15 giorni dalla data di acquisto, la cedola chesi trova all’interno del presente documento,completa in ogni sua parte.

Cosa si intende per garanzia: obbligo della casacostruttrice alla riparazione o sostituzione delle partirisultanti difettose a causa dei materiali o dellelavorazioni.

Per far eseguire lavori di sostituzione oriparazione in garanzia è necessario: fare in modoche la macchina o parti di essa da sostituire oriparare giungano presso la nostra sede rese francodi ogni spesa ed accompagnati da un copia deldocumento che comprova l’acquisto.

Qualora l’acquirente richieda la sostituzione deicomponenti difettosi presso la propria sede: leprestazioni e la manodopera dei tecnici, così come lespese di viaggio e le trasferte degli stessi, nonché lespese di trasporto per la restituzione e la sostituzionedelle attrezzature o parti di esse, saranno da ritenersia carico del Cliente stesso: verranno da noi applicatele tariffe vigenti al momento.

La garanzia non è più valida quando:• non vengono rispettati i termini di pagamento,• sono scaduti i termini di garanzia anche se il

prodotto è stato utilizzato raramente o mai,• la macchina risulta palesemente danneggiata per

negligenza del cliente,• persone non autorizzate dalla ditta costruttrice

(non legate da un contratto d’assistenza),eseguono riparazioni o modifiche al prodottoanche se hanno preventivamente chiestoconsiglio alla ditta costruttrice,

• l’attrezzatura è utilizzata in condizioni nonappropriate e per scopi diversi da quello dell’usoprevisto,

• si utilizza materiale di consumo non consigliatodalla ditta costruttrice,

• si installa e si fa manutenzione senza seguire iconsigli e le specifiche riportate nel manuale usoe manutenzione,

• le procedure di installazione sono eseguitemalamente.

Warranty abstract

Warranty period: 2 years from date of purchase ifthe warranty card enclosed in this instruction manualis returned to A.R.TE. srl.

How to start off the warranty : Send the herewithenclosed card duly filled in, within 15 days from dateof purchase.

What does warranty mean: the manufacturer hasto repair or replace the parts that result faulty dueeither to defective material or to faults in themanufacturing process.

In order to have us replace or repair a defectivepart under warranty it is necessary that: thesystem or part of it to be either replaced or repaired,be delivered to our premises free of charge andaccompanied by a copy of the document provingthe purchase.

Should the purchaser ask for the replacementof the defective parts in their premises: labour oftechnicians, travel expenses, as well as transportcharges for the return and replacement of theequipment or part of it, will be charged to the client:we will apply the rates in force at the moment.

The warranty is not valid if:• Payment terms are not respected.• Warranty has expired, though the product

has been rarely or never used.• The system proves to be heavily damaged

due to negligence.• Non-authorized personnel (people who do

not have a Service contract) execute repairsor modifications on the product, though theymay have asked the manufacturer forpermission.

• The equipment is used in inappropriateconditions and for purposes that differ fromthe proper use.

• Wear material that is not recommended bythe manufacturer is used.

• Installation and maintenance are carried outwithout following the advice and thespecifications stated in the instructionmanual.

• The installation procedures are notsatisfactorily carried out.

Pezzi di ricambio:in caso di necessità rivolgersi sempre alla dittacostruttrice. Tali parti saranno fornite gratuitamentesolo nel caso in cui facenti parte della garanzia. Icosti per la spedizione, sia per le parti fornite apagamento che per quelle in garanzia, sarannocomunque sempre a carico del Cliente. I pezzi dasostituire o riparare devono giungere presso lanostra sede rese franco di ogni spesa. Nel caso siprovveda da soli alla sostituzione dei pezzi senzaconsultare la nostra azienda, non sarà possibilerimborsarne le spese anche se riguardanti materialecoperto da garanzia.
