-can be used with many fuel sources,
including low-temperature souces
-the source is external to the engine, so
Stirling engines can be coupled to a
biomass combustion unit

CHP(2)-Stirling Exemple of a 55 kW (electrical) generator set for combined heat and power applica-tions. The total enclosure length is about 2.5 metres, and this assembly has a mass of about 1300 kg.

6. Conclusions
• AIIR initiative gathering 2 Universities and 6 private companies
• proposal for a public NZEB building (model)
• RO-NZEB will be also green (BREEAM) and bioclimatic building
• for research (itself for monitoring), with laboratories and offices
• heating 40-50kWh/sqm/y, cooling 80-90kWh/sqm/y, lighting 5kWh/sqm/y
• 2078 Euro/sqm construction cost (included field rehabilitation, excluded research equipment, excluded design cost)
• RO-NZEB promoting the companies in the consortium (50-50)
• RO-NZEB for high-tech technology visiting tour in Bucharest
• RO-NZEB searching now for EU financing funds
