Questo portfolio raccoglie un’assortimento di progetti disposti in ordine cronologico sviluppati presso l’Università IUAV di venezia. Essi rivelano il mio interesse per gli studi di architettura e il mio modo di lavorare; è importante per me non tanto presentare il progetto nella sua interezza, quanto alcune parti che ritengo fondamentali per far capire il mio modo di lavorare e le mie potenzialità.

This portfolio contains an assortment of projects developed at the University of Venice IUAV, arranged in chronological order. These projects reveal my architucture interests and work-style; for me it is of fundamental importance not to present the completed projects, but only the parts that I consider fundamental to understand the way I work and my potential.

The extension was imagined as a path that begins in the existing building and terminates in the new expan-sion through the interaction with the mountain’s slope. First of all a staircase, which wedges between the northern façade of the church and the rock wall, leads to a lookout point on Trinidad Square. After a small open space, the route restarts to go uphill through a walkway from which the visitors can appreciate a scenic view over the museum and the city skyline. At the end of this path a second lookout point is reached, that overlo-oks Zuloaga Square, leading to the entrance of the new building that cuts across the square.

L’amplimento è statoimmaginato come un percorso che parte dall’edificio esistente e legandosi al pendio della montagna trova la conclusione in un edificio di nuova fabbricazione. D’apprima una rampa di scale che s’incunea fra la facciatanord della chiesa e la roccia conduce ad un belvedere su piazza Trinidad. Dopo la breve sosta, il percorso riprende lentamente a salireattraverso una passerella dalla quale il visitatore può godere di una passeggiata in quota che guarda verso il museo e i tetti della città. Alla fine di questo percorsosi raggiunge un secondo belvedere in quota, che si affaccia su piazza Zuloaga per poi giungere al nuovo edificio che taglia trasver-salmente la piazza.

The project aims to enhance the gateway to the town of Urbania, now used as a coach and car park. The intention is to augment and make the area liveable serving it as a bridge between the city and the landscape, taking full account of the relationships with the historic city centre and the surrounding green areas. Specifically, with this opportunity, we want to solve a series of problems and to overcome the shortco-mings so far gone unheeded, inserting new businesses that try to maintain a dialogue and interaction between the surrounding monumental nature, the historicity of the buildings, that characte-rized the town centre, and the new constructions.

Il progetto mira a valorizza-re una porta d’accesso alla città di Urbania, ora adibita a parcheggio bus/auto.La volontà è quella di esaltare e rendere vivibile questa zona di cerniera tra città e paesaggio, tenendo in massima considerazione i rapporti che questa ha con il centro storico e il verde circostante. Nello specifico, cogliendo l’occasione, si vuole risolvere una serie di problematiche e sopperire a delle mancanze fino ad oggi rimaste inascoltate, inserendo delle nuove atti-vità cercando di mantenere dialogo e tensione tra la natura, che si fa sentire nella sua imponenza, la sto-ricità delle costruzioni che danno vita al centro abitato e le nuove costruzioni.

The examined building is characterized from a valuablehistoric importance that makes it a prestigious landmark. The compact exterior suggests a strong sense of historical representation characterized by the style and the elegance of the surrounding environment. The new use needs to be inserted without altering the essence of the existing properties and at the same to create something new that dialogues with the past in such a way some of the problematic of introducing a consulate in a villa of the 16th century can be overcame.

L’edificio in esame è caratterizzato da una forte incidenza storica che gli attribuisce valore di interesse e curiosità. La compattezza esterna dell’oggetto suggerisce un forte senso di rappresentanza caratterizzato anche dallostile storico fortemente presente e dall’eleganza del contesto ambientale in cui è inserito. La nuova destina-zione d’uso si vuole inserire senza snaturare l’essenza dell’immobile e al contempo cogliere l’occasione per creare qualcosa di nuovo che dialoghi con il passato e sia, in continuità con esso, la soluzione di alcune problematiche dovute al’inserimento di un consolato all’interno di una villa del 1500.

The concept of this project is the restitution of Marghera’s fort to its own city, with the scope to allow the use of its immense spaces from the citizens and to exploit the potential aggregative it offers. This proposal starts from a deep and careful analysis of the existing areas with the desire to restore life and character to a place now abounded and left in a state of neglect and decay. Starting from these conside-rations the project considers the requalification of the fort and of the surrounding areas taking the opportunity to meet the growing demand for student housing, creating an area that acts as a link between the new university and the cultural town.

La restituzione di forte Marghera alla sua città, al fine di permettere la frui-zione dei suoi immensi spazi da parte della cittadinanza e che questa possa, dunque, tornare a sfruttare le potenzialità aggregative che esso offre, è alla base dell’ipotesi progettuale. Tale idea prende vita dopo attente analisi della zona con la volontà di ridare vita e carattere ad un luogo ora in disuso e lasciato allo stato di abbandono e degrado.Il progetto prevede la riqualificazione di forte Marghera e delle aree limi-trofe cogliendo l’occasione per rispondere alle crescenti domande di alloggi studenteschi, creando un’area che funga da cerniera tra la nuova università e la cittadella culturale.

The intention of the Clemp’s fort restoration project is the modern reinterpretation of the meaning of a building and space from the First World War that still significantly characterizes the territory of the Trentino region. The aim is to create an attractive historical and naturalist pole sets to become a new and important resource in the whole social system and natural scenery. The Clemp’s fort is the focal point of a broader system: a path set up, capable of using the existing resources and natural panorama while beco-ming an education instrument for discovering the surrounding territory and its historical roots.

La reinterpretazione in chiave moderna del significatodi un luogo e di un edificio di eredità bellica che caratterizza ancora fortemente il territorio del Trentino, è alla base del progetto di recupero di forte Clemp. I fini sono quelli di creare un’attrattiva storico-naturalistica destinata a diventare nuova ed importante risorsa nell’intero sistema paesagistico e sociale. Forte Clemp come punto nevralgico e ingranaggio di un sistema ben più ampio: un percorso allestito, atto a valorizzare le risorse paesagistiche e nel contempo a diventare uno strumento didattico per la conoscenza del territorio e delle sue testimonianze storiche.
