Il Festival “UrbinoInAcquerello” ha preso vita, da coincidenze impreviste ma fortunate, dalla collaborazione con Fabriano, dove si svolge da anni la manifestazione “FabrianoInAcquarello”.L’Associazione “UrbinoInAcquerello” è nata a seguito della positiva esperienza dell’edizione 2016.Questa nuova edizione Urbinate dell’evento si caratterizza per l’ampio spazio riservato alla libertà di creazione di opere a tema libero ma accomunate dall’uso della tecnica acquerellistica.Gli artisti partecipanti, italiani e di ogni angolo del mondo, hanno inviato le loro opere scegliendole in base alla propria sensi-bilità e cultura che si evidenziano al contatto visivo, mostrandone le peculiarità insite.L’eterogeneità della produzione degli espositori non deve dare adito a preoccupazioni critiche, non c’è da ricercare tra queste opere un movimento o una poetica ma occorre, invece, apprezzare la varietà delle realtà, delle forme, dei luoghi, degli ambienti e delle figure.Le tante personalità artistiche presenti evidenziano che la vitalità dell’arte e la passione per essa accomunano l’uomo da qualunque parte egli provenga e viva; c’è quindi alla base di questa esposizione il principio fondamentale di ogni esercizio culturale- artistico: il rapporto e il dialogo umano.Questo principio si manifesta in particolar modo quando l’artista è lasciato libero di esprimersi, la tecnica acquerellistica offre questa opportunità. Il colore si deposita sul fondo del foglio, “si espande e si adagia negli altri colori” stimolando emozioni ed intuizioni che i visitatori più sensibili sapranno cogliere.La confluenza di tante opere artistiche poteva avvenire solo in Urbino, patria di Raffaello, dove il paesaggio, che ha ispirato in ogni tempo tanti pittori, ha suscitato meraviglia e ammirazione in coloro che hanno partecipato all’evento lo scorso anno e lo hanno potuto così rappresentare nelle loro opere.Gli artisti, dopo alcuni giorni, sono ripartiti e sono tornati nei loro luoghi di origine convinti di aver vissuto una esperienza unica e di aver potuto ammirare una Città straordinaria. Forse molti di loro ne avevano sentito parlare, ma non avevano avuto l’op-portunità di visitarla; quest’anno l’esperienza si rinnova anche per altri.Questo Festival va controcorrente, in un momento in cui si è portati a chiudersi nel proprio piccolo mondo, esso offre l’oc-casione di aprirsi ad uno scambio di opinioni e idee che può avere solo conseguenze positive sia dal punto di vista culturale che artistico per tutte le persone che partecipano, per tutte le scuole di media e alta formazione presenti nel territorio, e per la Città di Urbino.

The Festival “UrbinoInAcquerello” came to life, by joyful coincidences, in collaboration with Fabriano, where for years the event “Fabriano in Acquarello” takes place.“UrbinoInAcquarello Association” was born as a result of the positive experience of the 2016 Edition.This new edition of the Urbinate event is characterized by the ample space reserved for freedom in creating open theme works, all united by the use of watercolour techniques.The participating artists, Italian and from all over the world have sent their works choosing them according to their compassion and culture that are evident in their vision, showing the particular nature of their places.The heterogeneity in the production of the exhibitors must not give rise to critical concerns, there is not to be searched between these works a movement or a poetic, but instead appreciated the variety of realities, sha-pes, places and environments, of the subjects.

The many artistic personalities present evidence that the vitality of art and passion shared by man from wherever he comes from and lives; there are the basis of this exhibition the principle fundamental of each cultural-artistic exercise: the relationship and human dialogue.This principle is manifested especially when the artist is left free to express themselves, the aquarellist technique offers this opportunity: the color is deposited on the bottom of the sheet, “expands and hovers over the other colors” stimulating emotions and intuitions that visitors more sensitive will seize.The confluence of so many artistic works could take place only in Urbino, birthplace of Raffaello, where the landscape which inspired so many painters at all times, has aroused wonder and admiration in those who attended last year, so they could re-present in their worksThe artists, after a few days, will divide and return to their places of origin, convinced of having lived a unique experience to have been able to admire an extraordinary city. Perhaps many of them had heard about but had not had the opportunity to visit it. This year the experience has been renewed and also for many others.This festival goes countercurrent, at a time when it is brought to close in their own little world, it offers the opportunity to open an exchange of opinions and Ideas that can only have positive consequences both culturally and artistically for all people who participate on, for all middle and high school education, in the area, and the city of Urbino and for his admirable characteristics, deserves an increased visibility.

Saluto del Magnifico Rettore dell’Università degli Studi di Urbino Carlo Bo Tra i numerosi eventi che la città di Urbino ospita periodicamente, ce ne sono alcuni che le offrono l’occasione per ribadire la sua dimensione internazionale. Del resto, non si è patrimonio Unesco soltanto per la bellezza dei luoghi, ma per l’universalità di valori che questi sanno esprimere e suscitare. Perciò l’Università di Urbino Carlo Bo ha patrocinato la manifestazione “Urbino in Acquerello” organizzata dall'Associazione “Urbino in Acquerello” e Circolo Culturale Cittadino di Urbino:per sostenere e condividere uno di questi momenti in cui la città si mostra attraverso l’arte e la cultura, peculiarità e obiettivo dei tanti istituti di alta formazione che non a caso convivono a Urbino. L’Università non è da meno: la sua vocazione internazionale è ribadita dai mille studenti iscritti pro-venienti da tutto il mondo, una percentuale doppia rispetto alla media nazionale. A “Urbino in acquerello” va perciò l’auspicio che sappia persino migliorare il già grande successo del 2016. Da parte mia, a nome di tutta l’Università Carlo Bo, il più sentito “in bocca al lupo”.

Greetings from the magnificent Rector of the University of the study of Urbino Carlos Bo Among the many events that the city of Urbino periodically hosts, there are a few that offer the opportunity to re-affirm its international dimension.Moreover, it is not the Unesco heritage only or the beauty of its places, but for the universality of values that they can express and arouse. Therefore, the University of Urbino Carlos Bo has sponsored the event “Urbino in Watercolor” organized by “UrbinoInAcquarello Association” and the City Circle of Urbino: to support and share one of those moments when the city shows itself through art and culture, pecu-liarities and goal of many institutions of advanced training which not coincidentally live in Urbino.The University is no exception: its international vocation is reiterated with thousand of students from all over the world, twice as high as the national average. "Urbino in watercolor" so goes the hope who can even improve on the already highly success in 2016. For my part, on behalf of the entire University Carlo Bo, the most heartfelt "good luck".
