Il 10 giugno 2019 si è svolta con grande
successo, presso il WhiteHall Ballroom di
Atlanta, la prima delle due tappe statunitensi del
Vini d’Italia World Tour 2019.

L’evento, che ha visto protagoniste
oltre 40 tra le più importanti
aziende vinicole italiane, è stato
realizzato con il supporto del
Ministero dello Sviluppo
Economico e in collaborazione
con ITA – Italian Trade Agency.
La tappa fa parte del tour Vini
d’Italia, dedicato a tutte le cantine
recensite nell’edizione 2019 della
guida Vini d’Italia del Gambero
Rosso.

La manifestazione, ospitata dalle sale del Whitehall Ballroom dell’esclusivo Southern Exchange
Ballrooms, ha visto la partecipazione di un pubblico preparato e attento, composto principalmente da
trader ed operatori del settore.
Le 43 aziende presenti hanno proposto in degustazione curiose ed interessanti novità che, dopo
essere state presentate in anteprima durante le fiere del vino europee, hanno incuriosito ed
entusiasmato il pubblico americano presente in sala.
In questo modo quelle piccole e grandi realtà enologiche italiane hanno avuto la possibilità di farsi
conoscere ed apprezzare dal trade statunitense e l’obiettivo principale dell’evento è stato raggiunto a
pieni voti.
Pur essendo il mercato statunitense il primo sia in valore che in volumi per il vino italiano, quella
americana rimane comunque una piazza da presidiare con costanza poiché riserva ancora enormi
possibilità di crescita.
